MLW's return to Charleston, SC is very close to sold out with only standing room left, we are told.
MLW announced:
Mexico City to host annual event for second year in a row.
Major League Wrestling will return to Mexico City on May 1 for a highly anticipated rematch with Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, as the two organizations meet for the second annual MLW vs. CMLL event at Arena México.
The event follows the success of last year’s inaugural showcase, which marked the first meeting between the two promotions and drew strong interest from fans in Mexico and abroad. Building on that momentum, this year’s card is expected to further spotlight the collaboration between MLW and lucha libre.
Arena México, widely regarded as the Cathedral of lucha libre, will once again serve as the stage for the interpromotional event. The venue hosted the first MLW vs. CMLL card last May, establishing a foundation for what has quickly become an annual tradition.
Additional details, including participating athletes and matchups, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
The May 1 event represents another opportunity for MLW to expand its international presence while continuing to celebrate lucha libre.
