How long will it be before WWE is forced to turn Trick Williams babyface?

I think it’s just a matter of time.  The fans love Trick.  He’s cool.  He’s a great promo.  He has a great presence.  It’s a matter of if, not when.  With that said, part of what makes the fans love him is the cocky way he acts so when they turn him, they have to make sure not to neuter that part of his character.

If Sami loses at WM, do you see him snapping and turning heel?  He got some boos when he showed up on camera to confront Trick backstage...

It’s too soon to say.  They were leading us down the path when he was getting frustrated every week and then they had him fire himself up and win the Title.  But, that could be a swerve.  It could be that he turns doing the match and maybe they start the Trick babyface turn then.

It's been about a month, and Danhausen is already over with WWE fans. Conversely, AEW fans are angrier about him jumping ship than anybody since Punk. I don't think they are so much angry at Danhausen, but at what his signing represents. Wrestling fans, especially those who dislike the WWE, always believed that certain wrestlers, no matter how popular they got, would simply never get signed by WWE. Whatever the reason: too small, too old, bad look, bad physique, weird gimmick, adult-oriented gimmick; they'd just never get the offer, and because of that they were safe for those anti-WWE fans to invest in. But Danhausen and his success blows that up completely. Now, WWE could sign anybody. Darby Allin? Harley Cameron? Eddie Kingston? Maki Itoh?  Nobody is safe; anyone could jump ship and get over, and its driving WWE haters crazy.

I don’t know what makes people think what they think but if they are upset about Danhausen going to WWE, that’s just crazy.  The guy wasn’t being used in AEW so what do they want?  For him to not do anything when an opportunity arises?  If AEW wants to keep talents it’s pretty easy for Tony Khan, he just has to pay them well and use them.

Wrestlemania has grown into a Top 5 Sports Brand - only behind the Super Bowl, Summer and Winter Olympics, and the FIFA World Cup. (Per Forbes.) It’s a 2-night extravaganza where cities bid on it because it generates $150 Million to the local economy. Yet, according to AJ Styles, “WrestleMania has lost its luster” - because it’s not the only stadium show on the calendar? Do you agree with him? Is he not conflating the overall growth of other WWE events catching up to WrestleMania vs. a diminished WrestleMania allure?

I took his comments to be his personal feeling, that he prefers The Rumble to WrestleMania and he gave us a good reason as to why he feels that way.  There’s no world that The Rumble is the bigger, more important event though.  None.
