Assassin to wrestle first match in Japan since 2024
Sakura Genesis on April 4 has received a huge addition to the card, as Will Ospreay will be in action, wrestling in an NJPW ring for the first time since New Beginning in Osaka 2024.

Appearing at New Year Dash in January, Ospreay addressed Callum Newman, saying that he wanted to return in support of the Prince and 'do things your way'. Now, on a night where Newman faces Yota Tsuji for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship in the main event, Ospreay meets the man Callum beat in the New Japan Cup final in Yuya Uemura alongside two early members he brought into United Empire: HENARE and co-founder Great-O-Khan.
