By Mike Johnson on 2026-03-26 23:04:00

Welcome to the PWInsider.com TNA Thursday Night Impact report for the night before Sacrifice 2026!

The episode opened with a rundown of everything that led to this night.

Our hosts are Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt.

We are in Atlanta, GA.

Mustafa Ali with Order 4 vs. BDE.

Ali caught BDE attempting a crossbody and tried to transition it into a fallaway slam, but BDE countered mid-motion into a sharp crucifix bomb in a well-timed spot. Ali rolled out to the floor, and BDE quickly followed with a dive to the outside. Back in the ring, Ali targeted BDE’s leg, though BDE managed to create separation with an enzuigiri. When BDE missed a corner splash, Ali capitalized by catching him with a rolling neckbreaker out of the corner.  BDE avoided a clothesline and connected with a running knee, only for Ali to fire back with a superkick. BDE then hit a springboard cutter and climbed to the top, landing a frog splash for a close near fall. Attempting another springboard cutter, BDE was intercepted mid-air by Ali, who drove him down with a sit-out powerbomb.   Ali drilled him with Dance with the Devil and scores the pin.

Your winner, Mustafa Ali!

Order 4 attacked Rich Swann.  Jason Hotch choked him out.  Trey Miguel ran out and began nailing people with the International Championship but was overwhelmed and they put the boots to him as well,  Jada Stone charged out and hit a top rope rana on Ali, then knocked The Great Hands out of the ring.  Special Agent Zero grabbed her for a chokeslam but Miguel saved her.  The two sides all screamed at each other ahead of tomorrow's PPV.

TNA Champion Mike Santana and X-Division Champion Leon Slater were interviewed by Gia Miller backstage.  Slater said he's ready to get Eric Young for dropping him on his head.  Tomorrow, Santana said, Steve Maclin gets to prove himself and prove everyone wrong, but if he loses, Maclin has to look in the mirror at home and admit he doesn't have what it takes to be the man he claimed to be.  As he cut his promo, Daria Rae stepped in and said if Santana lays a hand on Maclin tonight, the title will be vacated and they'll have a tournament without Santana to crown a new champion.

TNA Tag Team Champion Jeff Hardy with Matt Hardy vs. Brian Myers with The System.

Jeff went for it at the bell, but Myers cut him off by tripping him up to seize control. He slipped out of a Twist of Fate attempt and planted Jeff with an implant DDT for a two count. Jeff rebounded by ducking a clothesline, hitting the Twist of Fate.  Hardy scored the pin with a swanton bomb.

Your winner, Jeff Hardy!

The System attacked and overwhelmed the Hardys.  The Righteous hit the ring and made the save.  Everyone battled out, leaving Bear Brosnson in the ring.

Moose's music hit.

Moose with Alisha Edwards vs. Bear Bronson

Bronson avoided an early charge and launched Moose with a suplex, sending the action to the floor where Moose answered by whipping Bronson into the steel steps. Bronson fired back with a suplex on the outside before tossing Moose back in, taking a moment to jaw at Alisha Edwards. Back in the ring, Bronson dropped an elbow for a near fall and kept the pressure on with more chops. Moose rallied with a pump kick that sent Bronson outside, but Bronson cut him off on the apron and crushed him with a senton there.

Bronson followed with a superplex, but Moose powered out before even a one count, igniting the crowd. Moose mounted a comeback with a headbutt, corner forearm, uranage, and a senton. Another charge from Moose was countered into a pop-up powerbomb, though Moose still kicked out at two. The two traded more chops, with Moose gaining the edge, but when he charged again, Bronson caught him with a Black Hole Slam. A clothesline exchange followed, with Bronson briefly getting the better of it, until Moose leveled him with a discus lariat.  As Moose looked ready to finish things, The System tried to interfere, only to be cut off by the Atlanta Falcons jumping the rail.  Bronson gets distracted by The former Atlanta Falcons getting involved with The System, setting up Moose spearing him for the pin.

Your winner, Moose!

Moose and friends celebrate in the ring.

Gia Miller interviewed Mara Sade.  She has one thing on her mind, kicking Elayna Black's butt.  The interview ended and Mara went to use her phone but it turned into a scroll that said to follow the whita rabbit.  Sade saw the rabbit from the recent Rosemary vignettes and did.  Mara walked up several flights of stairs before it said, "To Be Continued..."

Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore vs. Harley Hudson & Myla Grace & Jody Threat.

Grace attempted to lock in a crossface on Moore, but Moore managed to escape by reaching the ropes. Crawford tagged in, only for Grace to trip her up and score a two count with a dropkick. Threat then got the tag and ran wild, taking control of the match. She lined all three opponents up against the ropes and blasted them with a running charge, then suplexed Blanchard, followed by Moore, and finished the sequence with a fallaway slam on Crawford.  Grace and Hudson kept the momentum going with dives to the floor onto Moore and Blanchard. Back in the fray, Threat missed a charge on Blanchard, who capitalized by suplexing her onto the steel steps. Blanchard then leveled Hudson with a superkick and planted  Blanchard scores the pinfall with The Buzzsaw.

Your winners, Tessa Blanchard & Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore!

The injury report: Indi Hartwell is still recovering from knee issues and is out.  Ash by Elegance is out of action with "mental health concerns" due to fans calling her a mark.  I have to say, that made me laugh.  Leon Slater is not 100% but has been cleared by medical staff.

Rosemary was somewhere when she was aproached by Crazzy Steve.  He said Rosemary must want something.  He said she's going to listen to him.  He said he didn't choose to be a flawed design.  She knows what he knows, that this life is a joke.  He said Rosemary tossed him aside like everyone else and left him to rot.  Now she's here because she needs something, but he needs something - to be free of this place.  He said his sacrifice comes with a cost.  Rosemary kissed him on the forehead and thanked him.    It said to be continued....

Eric Young vs. Brad Attitude

Attitude managed to kick out after a Death Valley Driver, showing some resilience. Young then chased the referee out of the ring, opening the door for Attitude to take him out with a dive. Back inside, Attitude hit a slingshot senton and climbed to the top, but Young cut him off by crotching him on the turnbuckle.  Young hit the pildriver for the pin.

Your winner, Eric Young!

Somewhere backstage, Matt Hardy was down, having been attacked in a stairwell.  He said he was attacked from behind.   He literally said, "They came from behind", lifting a line from the Death Star battle in the first Star Wars film.  Jeff Hardy and The Righteous looked over him.

Gia Miller introduced "WCW legend" Buff Bagwell, who came out on stage.  Miller thanked him for being here and to see the growth of TNA.  Bagwell said he thanks God for being with him every step of his journey.  He had his leg amputated in July 2025 but God stood by him the entire way.  He said he has a big apologize to every fan for his behavior over the last 20 years.  There's been up and downs but most downs and ups.  He said if the fans will get behind him, he walk the aisle and wrestle for TNA one more time.  The crowd popped.  Frankie Kazarian came down and sad Bagwell isn't walking anywhere.  Perhaps he can hop but he's not walking.  Kazarian said he was a big Buff Bagwell fan.  He had the physique and swagger 20 years ago, but today is pathetic.  He asked if Buff was here to get a Go Fund Me page launched.  He said Buff was the stuff, but lost some stuff.  He asked Bagwell if he was a little weak in the knee.  Kazarian said Buff is half the man he used to be and Kazarian is twice the man Buff ever was.  Elijah came out and said no one is going to stop Buff from living that dream and when it's time, he hopes Buff will walk with Elijah.

Santino Marella announced that Matt Hardy is injured and not cleared to compete tomorrow.  The Righteous came out and blamed The System.  Vincent offered to team with Jeff Hardy at Sacrifice against The System.  Marella agreed and made the match.

Dani Luna cut a promo promising tomorrow will be Doomsday and she will walk out the Knockouts Champion.

TNA Champion Mike Santana & X-Division Champion Leon Slater vs. Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander.

Santana and Slater started fast, clotheslining Alexander and Edwards to the floor. Slater followed with a top-rope splash, but both opponents caught him, only for Santana to wipe them out with a suicide dive. Back inside, Slater drilled Edwards with a double stomp and tagged Santana, who laid in stiff chops. Edwards raked the eyes to regain control and brought in Alexander, but Santana answered with a corner back elbow and a snapmare. Quick tags from Santana and Slater led to a suplex on Alexander, followed by targeted work on the arm. Edwards tagged back in, chopped Santana, and knocked Slater off the apron before sending Santana into the corner.

After the break, Slater fired back with a boot and a crossbody off the top for two. He charged the corner again, but Edwards flipped him over the turnbuckle, and a distraction from The System allowed Alexander to spike Slater with a side slam on the apron. Back in the ring, Alexander and Edwards isolated Slater with frequent tags—snapmares, kicks, and a knee drop for a near fall. Alexander cinched in a sleeper, but Slater fought up and created space with a back heel kick, finally tagging Santana.

Santana came in hot with clotheslines and a pump kick to Edwards. He went for Spin the Block, but Edwards countered with an armdrag. Edwards then hit a Backpack Stunner, and Alexander followed with a Frog Splash for a close two count. Santana answered with a fireman’s carry slam, though Edwards quickly responded with a Michinoku Driver. Edwards looked for the Boston Knee Party, but Santana ducked and connected with a Death Valley Driver. Santana then took out The System with a tope con giro, but chaos followed—Maclin ran out and dragged Slater from ringside. Santana confronted Maclin, who dared him to strike (because it Santana did, he'd be stripped of the title), only for Slater to drop Maclin with a superkick. In the ring, however, Edwards capitalized, catching Santana with the Boston Knee Party to secure the win.

Your winners, Eddie Edwards & Cedric Alexander!
