Spotlight Match: Vile vs Elle Valentine
Vile talking a LOT through this. She seems like she’d get on with Amity Lavey easily. Valentine overpowering Vile pretty easily, despite all the chattering. Even when Elle hits a northern lights and gets the three, Vile can’t be silenced. I dug this.
We’re live for the return of WWR+ and the 2026 edition of the Tournament for Tomorrow! Lauren St. James is our announcer!
Match 1: Lady Leigh vs Liviyah (TFT Round 1)
Lady Leigh swarming early and Liv is already holding that elbow she injured a few months back. Leigh controlling her pretty handily but Liv is scrappy. She starts fighting back with her one good arm and guts through the pain needed to hit a huge German. She might be in pain but a gut kick sets up the stuffed ddt to KO her opponent and send Liv to round 2.
Match 2: Amity Lavey vs Corinne Joy (TFT Round 1)
I do love me some crazy Rosemary-esque vibes and Amity is ALL of that. Amity just trying to work her way into Joy’s head early but Corinne is wise to these games. Amity is straight up vicious in her attacks and overwhelms her with strikes and stomps. Joy kicks out of a spinning neckbreaker, prompting Amity to scream “you don’t even GO here!” Amity eats a quick kick and a quick stunner style slam over the shoulder puts the doctor’s favorite patient down for the three! Corinne Joy shocks with an upset advance to the second round!
Match 3: Kylie Alexa vs Rachel Ley (TFT Round 1)
The prettiest princess is not so thrilled to see Ley’s straight up Queen of Hearts inspired gear. Ley is SUPER athletic hitting a really clean handspring attack into the corner and a backflip knee that flies Kylie in a rage. She stomps her opponent out in the corner and makes sure the crowd knows she’s mocking all of us. Kylie with full rabid mean girl energy. Ley fights out of chokehold and starts her comeback but Kylie knees her in the face. Ley has to grab the ropes to avoid the L. Ley misses a moonsault. Kylie suplexes her into the buckles and throws her everything into the corner dropkick that gets the win. This was a blast.
Match 4: Harleen Lopez vs Lili Ruiz (TFT Round 1)
Harleen is a self-described brute but Lili is the other strongwoman in this match and it’s clear Lopez wasn’t ready to match strength like this. It’s a very even match up, you can tell it’s gonna be a battle who runs out of gas first. Lili struggles with a suplex
Lauren St James brings out Sammi Chaos for…an interview? “Sammi has NOT an alternate”. She’s not booked. She IS wrestling. Send whoever. JORDAN BLADE ANSWERS THE CALL!
Match 5: Sammi Chaos vs Jordan Blade
Blade KNOWS she’s up against a monster but she’s game to fight. But Sammi is a big bite to take and it’s unsurprising when she just eats all her attacks and clubs the f*** outta Jordan. Blade just getting murdered but continues to kick out. Jordan finally catches a kick and dragon screws that limb into the mat. Jordan stays on the attack, Chaos runs into the corner and Jordan applies a rear naked choke and gets the tap!
Match 6: Kylie Alexa vs Corinne Joy (TFT Semifinal)
Kylie is here to win…but not in a nice way. She bullies ref bill as she tears into Corinne’s head and spine. Like the first match, Joy is kicking out of everything while getting rekt. Joy finally with a split legged backbreaker and headkicks Kylie down for a two! She tries the stunner-style slam again but Kylie pushes her off and kicks her head off….Joy kicks out! She superkicks Kylie and Alexa puts her in a Rings of Saturn and gets the immediate tapout. Awesome!
Match 7: Liviyah vs Lili Ruiz (TFT Semifinal)
Is it a dance-off? It goes as expected for Liv. The chop-off does too. Liv comes into hard throwing forearms but Lili starts to focus on that hurting arm. She stays on the attack, SMART. Liv with a quick pin attempt and stacks Lili and gets the three! She survived again!
Match 8: Laynie Luck(c) vs Allie Katch (for the WWEID Women’s Championship)
I should be writing but I ain’t. I’m watching. Laynie is showcasing why she’s been an awesome fighting champion against one of our constant faves in Katch. Allie is fighting FOR THIS win this. She crabs Laynie in the buckles! A pair of cannonballs fail to put the lights out! Katch spikes her with a piledriver….Laynie gets a foot in the rope! She tries a crossface! “I’m sorry I love you” yells Luck before a DVD! Katch kicks out to everyone’s surprise! The crowd starting to chant for Allie to get this…Laynie is NOTICING. She tries the crossface again. No luck! Ha. Allie is exhausted as she fights to the top rope…she hits a dominator! Luck kicks out. She goes for the heatseeker. Laynie hits a DVD to the apron! A shining wizard as Allie rolls back in and a THIRD DVD puts Katch away. Laynie retains in a BANGER. They have words after the bell and hug it out.
Main Event: Liviyah vs Kylie Alexa (TFT Finals)
The crowd is cheering for both women and Kylie HAAAAAAATES it. Alexa is building on on the work done in the past two matches and ripping at that hurting arm through the opening minutes after a brief brawl around the room. Kylie tosses Liv to the floor. Liv catches her coming in and hits a suplex on the floor. Kylie barely makes it back to ring but Liv starts working the gut. Kylie trying to stay on top but Liv buckle bombs her from the other corner! They work their way back up and start trading heavy forearms. Liv’s adrenaline is flowing and that arm feels no pain! Shotgun into the corner! Kylie kicks out! Alexa hits a superplex and a cradle driver for two! Kylie comes running…Liv takes her down and picks her up for another powerbomb! Kick out! Kylie gets the rings of Saturn on! Liv powers free! Liv hits a spear and they both go out and we almost have a double pin! They trade slaps until the fight spills to the floor again! Liv gets posted! She tries to bomb Kylie into the apron but Alexa switches it up and jacks Liv’s arm in the post! She stomps her out and hits a corner dropkick and Liv stays down for the three! AWESOME final and the RIGHT finish, heel or no.
Kylie says that Liv has been shaking everyone’s hand so she should shake HER hand. Liv gets up and they shake ona it…the. Kylie demands that Liv raise her hand in victory. She does..and then Kylie rips her down and applies the rings of Saturn again and does NOT let go. After almost a solid minute, the entire WWR+ lockerroom spills out to stops this. The victorious Kylie gets out of there but the damage has been DONE. Is Liv going to be able to comeback from this??? Will we get an update tomorrow in Cranston at Wrestling Open RI?
