Josh Alexander banged up his knee last night at the AEW Collision taping working a AEW Trios bout that will air this Sunday on TNT.
During a sequence with Mike Bailey, Bailey hit Ultima Weapon (a standing moonsault into a double knee strike) but Alexander pulled his knees up. PWInsider.com is told it appeared that Alexander hurt his knee when Bailey came down on him and their knees connected. Alexander went to the floor and did not return to the ring for the remainder of the bout. Based on what we are told, it was just a freak thing.
There's no word how badly Alexander may have been hurt but he was checked out backstage after.
One would think he'll get checked out when he gets off the road.
