RICOCHET ISSUES APOLOGY FOLLOWING TASTELESS TWEET

AEW's Ricochet issued an apology yesterday following a tasteless response to a fan, telling her he was happy she had Multiple Sclerosis in response to the fan, "Sandi T." writing that she felt Ricochet's acting had not improved.

Whether he was in character or not, obviously the response was absolutely awful and Ricochet received a lot of online scorn for it in the hours that followed.  Initially, Ricochet refused to back down, even writing, "Its soooo hilarious that the amount of little b**ches who has tweeted and wished harm on me, who has wished even death, said some of the most VILE things to me AND my wife. Peopl who try and make fun of me EVERYDAY. But those same little bi**ches can't take it when I do back to people.  F**king p**sies, everywhere."  (PWInsider.com has censored the expletives.)

However, Ricochet later responded, "I took out my hatred for the IWC on Sandi, and inadvertently others who are effected by MS. She didnt deserve it and for that, I sincerely apologize. Moving forward I'll do better."

Since we have been asked, we are not aware whether AEW stepped in and requested the apology or not, but I wouldn't be shocked to learn that was the case.
