Train Dreams, the feature film produced by Marissa McMahon, Shane McMahon's wife, went 0-3 for the awards it was nominated for at tonight's Academy Awards.
Train Dreams was nominated for Best Picture, Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Cinematography.
Had it won Best Picture, McMahon would have personally received an Academy Award.
McMahon produced the film through her company Kamala Films.
Train Dreams is currently streaming on Netflix. The plot - "Robert Grainier, a 20th-century American laborer in the Idaho Panhandle, through 80 years of a life marked by quiet tragedy and the profound transformation of the wilderness. After building a life with his wife and daughter, Grainier loses them in a wildfire, forcing him to live as a grief-stricken hermit amid rapid modernization."
