WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who starred in several films over the course of his career and whose appearance in Rocky III super-charged his celebrity, was not featured in the Academy Awards' In Memoriam segment tonight.
Hogan was also not listed on the Academy's In Memoriam listing on their website.
Hogan starred in No Holds Barred (1989), Suburban Commando (1991), Mr. Nanny (1993), Santa with Muscles (1996) and 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998). He also made appearances in Gremlins 2 and Muppets from Space.
Hogan passed away in July 2025.
For those who have asked, Roddy Piper was not acknowledged by The Academy when he passed away in 2015.
