The belief backstage at MLW Fusion is that Alexander Hammerstone suffered a knee injury against Matt Riddle.
We are told that the promotion had made the call to end the match after the injury, which came after a spot outside, but that Hammerstone was pushing to keep going.
We are told the injury appeared to occur when Hammerstone pump-kicked Riddle's fist into the ring post.
We are told he is able to walk backstage but was obviously in pain.
