We take a look back at last week's Smackdown.
Drew McIntyre is in the crowd and he tells Aldis he can take that contract and shove it up his ass. Drew says his title was stolen from him. You couldn't help yourself Nick to make sure that your golden boy got a title match before Wrestlemania. You are going to make this right.
Nick Aldis comes out and he says there is nothing to make right. Part of being champion is defending your title. It was a one on one contest. You head butted a referee and it still didnt' go your way. You are trying to blame someone else but you need to look at the consequences of your actions.
Drew says we had a deal and he lost those two matches. You had to make sure the corporate champion won the title. He calls Nick a corporate stooge.
Nick says Cody got screwed in his title shots. You did everything you could to prevent Cody from having a fair shot because the first time he got one, he defeated you.
Drew gets in the ring with Nick and he gets in his face.
Drew says that they know that this is bulls***. He tells Nick to make it right . . . or else.
Jacob Fatu makes his way to the ring.
They stare at each other in the ring.
Nick wonders what is going to happen and how he will deal with the aftermath.
Fatu asks what is there to fix? You wouldn't be champion if it wasn't for him. Let's state the facts. He fixed the situation last week so Drew is no longer champion. This isn't about Aldis, it isn't about Cody, it isn't about anybody else. If you are pointing fingers and blaming people, let's keep it 100. Fatu says he is the one who screwed Drew's ass. He wants to break it down. What the hell you gonna do about it?
Drew says you, Nick, Cody, and these people. Drew says he is done with you all. Drew says he quits. Drew leaves the ring and walks through the crowd.
Solo is in the back with his lantern. He says the plan worked perfectly. The Wyatts are not the number one contenders and they still have this. Solo tells Talla that they are going to take care of Rowan and Howdy. He tells Tama to guard the lantern with his life and he says without this, the Wyatts are nothing.
Tama looks behind him and he sees Nakamura and asks him why is he here.
Nakamura asks when will Tama decide to be his own man. He speaks in Japanese and . . .
Solo shows up and he tells Nakamura to stay the hell away from his family before he gets hurt.
Fatu wants to know what is going on. He says he was going to whoop Drew's ass.
Trick shows up and he says he is the one who whoops.
Fatu tells Trick he will whoop his ass.
Nick tells Fatu to chill out.
Fatu reminds Nick what happened the last time. Fatu talks about disrespect.
Trick talks about disrespect and he mentions what Randy did last week.
Nick tells tells Trick Randy is busy so he will face Fatu tonight. He threatens to fire Trick.
Match Number One: Erick Rowan and Uncle Howdy versus Solo Sikoa and Talla Tonga in a Non Title Match
Talla and Rowan start off and they collide in the center of the ring. Rowan goes for a shoulder tackle and Talla with a punch and shoulder tackle of his own. Talla with a head butt and he chokes Rowan in the ropes. Solo tags in and he lets Rowan move towards his corner but Solo stops him. Solo with a shoulder tackle but Rowan bounces off the ropes and hits a shoulder tackle. Howdy tags in and he kicks Solo. Howdy with a clothesline in the corner. Solo with a punch and he connects with more punches. Howdy knocks Talla off the apron and he punches Solo. Talla pulls Howdy to the floor and sends him into the announce table and ringside barrier.
Talla breaks the count and picks up Howdy and slams him onto the announce table. Talla with a head butt. Talla kicks Howdy in the back and he punches Howdy. Talla with a back elbow and an elbow drop. Solo tags in and Solo taunts Rowan and then Solo punches Howdy many times. Solo chokes Howdy in the ropes and then Talla wit a punch. Solo with a nerve hold. Howdy with forearms and Solo holds on. Solo with a uranage for a near fall. Talla tags in and he grabs Howdy by the throat and Howdy with punches. Talla with a punch. Talla with an Irish whip and splash into the corner followed by a running Samoan drop for a near fall. Solo sets for Sister Abigail but Howdy counters with a belly-to-back suplex. Rowan tags in and so does Talla. Rowan with forearms and chops followed by a DDT and drop kick. Rowan with an elbow into the corner and he knocks Solo off the apron.
Rowan runs into a boot and he avoids a clothesline and hits a cross body. Rowan with a cross body for a near fall. Rowan gets Talla up and Solo makes the tag. Solo with a kick to Rowan and Talla with a clothesline. Solo goes for a frog splash but Rowan gets his knees up. Howedy tags in and he goes for Sister Abigail but Solo escapes and hits a Samoan Spike but Rowan makes the save. Talla clotheslines Rowan over the top rope to the floor. Both men with running clotheslines on the floor.
Gacy and Lumxi go fact to face with Mateo and Loa and Loa tries to stop Mateo. Lumis with a super kick to Mateo and then Gacy goes after Tama. Solo with Samoan spikes to Gacy and Lumis. The lantern is in the corner and Nikki walks over to it and stands next to it.
Solo sees what is going on and Nikki takes the lantern and she holds up the lantern to power up Howdy for Sister Abigail and the three count.
Winners: Uncle Howdy and Erick Rowan
After the match, Howdy holds the lantern in the ring but Tama with Cutthroat and he regains the lantern.
Truth says Judgment Day looks different and they can't let their history affect them. Priest says it isn't them. Truth says it is JC McDonagh.
Priest says they will win the titles.
Angel and Humberto show up to say that they did the hard work in the match that you ended up winning.
Priest says you did the hard work, but they wiped them up to win.
Priest asks Truth if he is thinking what he is thinking. He says he will talk to Nick because they will have a match tonight.
Kiana James says you talk a good game but that will only get you so far. Giulia asks Tiffany if she thinks she deserves the title. She can face Kiana tonight. Kiana says she doesn't have any issues wtih showing that Tiffy Time is over.
Match Number Two: Jade Cargill versus Michin in a Non Title Match
Michin attacks Jade from behind and she kicks Jade a few times. The referee holds Michin back while Jade returns to the ring.
The referee starts the match and Michin with a drop kick. Jade with an Irish whip and Michin with a kick. Michin with a head scissors take down off the turnbuckles to send Jade to the floor. Michin stops short because Jade is not in a position to take a dive. Michin with a pescado. They return to the ring and Jade with a bicycle kick and a slam. Jade kicks and chokes Michin. Michin with a punch and Jade with a forearm. Jade with a kick. Michin with punches to Jade and Michin hangs in the ropes and Jade charges. Michin moves and Jade goes to the floor. Michin with a kick from the apron. Jade catches Michin off the ring steps and she hits a fallaway slam.
Jade sends Michin back into the ring and she chokes Michin in the ropes. Jade kicks Michin in the corner. Jade with a back elbow for a near fall. Jade does push ups in front of Michin. Michin gets a near fall. Jade with a clothesline for a near fall. Jade with a spinebuster for a near fall. Michin counters a choke slam but Jade goes for Jaded. Michin with a jaw breaker and a tornado DDT. Michin gets a near fall. Jade escapes Eat Defeat but Michin with a Pele Kick and then she hits Sliced Bread. Michin with Eat Defeat and Jade rolls to the floor to avoid the cover. Michin goes tot he apron and she misses a cannonball. Jade with a powr bomb onto the ringside barrier. Jade sends Michin back into the ring and she hits a choke slam after licking Michin's face. Jade with Jaded for the three count.
Winner: Jade Cargill
After the match, Cathy Kelley asks Jade about Rhea and Jade pulls the mic from her hand.
Jade asks if y'all seen that. That is what happens when these wrestlers believe in their own hype. These girls get real quiet when they see her in the hallways. Everyone tells her that she needs to be afraid of Rhea Ripley. Jade wonders what to be afraid of? She is her. What is she afraid of? She does not see a challenger or a threat. She has never been afraid of anything in her life. She tells Rhea that she will beat her ass come Wrestlemania and show why she is always on top.
Jade drops the mic and . . .
Rhea's music plays and she makes her way to the ring.
Rhea tells Jade to go ahead and Jade leaves the ring.
Rhea says you are running your mouth and now you want to run from a fight with her. You are not the embodiment of female empowerment. You are not THE or A. After Wrestlemania, you will be her bitch.
Nick is on the phone.
Cody shows up and asks what is going on with Drew.
Nick says he doesn't know and he tells Cody to focus on the contract. Cody says all is in order.
Sami Zayn shows up and he tells Cody he doesn't want this to turn into a thing again. He congratulates Cody for winning the title. He says he is rooting for Cody at Mania.
Cody says he knows Sami said the same thing to Randy. If you are looking for a title shot against Randy, I am sure you have it. Cody says that Sami could get a title show. He asks Sami if that is waht he wants.
Sami says he can't believe that Cody would think so lowly of him. He said that to Randy because that is Randy. Sami says there will never be another like Randy and he looks up to Randy. He says he doesn't look up to Cody because they are friends. Friends are supposed to be equals. Sami says that Cody doesn't get to talk down to him.
Cody says he is not talking down to Sami. He says he has been doing media and he says that Sami is magical. He tells Sami to look at the title belt.
Sami assaults innocent red solo cups and water bottles.
Aleister Black and Zelina Vega stop by and he asks if this quest for the title isn't for him.
Sami tells Black to stay far far away from him. He asks Black if he understands.
Michin and B-Fab are in the back and Rhea shows up and tells Michin she impressed her.
Michin says there is no need for a pity party because she would have done fine if Jade didn't hurt her shoulder.
Before the tag title match starts, Nikki Bella and Brie Bella come to the ring and they have something to say while Charlotte and Alexa are in there.
Brie says it feels good to be back on Smackdown in their home town. Nikki says hello to Charlotte and Alexa. As much as they would love to wish them luck tonight, that is not why they are here. Brie says no matter who wins tonight, they came for gold and they are next in line for the tag titles. Nikki says they will be watching ringside to see their competition.
Match Number Three: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss versus Nia Jax and Lash Legend for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
Lash and Nia attack Flair and Alexa as the bell rings. Lash with a splash to Flair and Nia chokes Alexa in the corner. Lash sends Flair into the turnbuckles. Flair with an uppercut and kick to Lash. Alexa kicks Nia. Flair and Alexa pull the middle rope and Nia still runs through them to the floor. Lash is sent to the floor. Nia catches Alexa off the apron and Nia hot shots Alexa on the apron. Flair with a pescado onto Nia but Lash with a boot to Flair. Nia with a head butt to Alexa and Nia does something dance-like in the ring. Alexa with kicks but Nia with a clothesline. Lash tags in and she kicks Alexa. Lash sends Alexa to the mat. Lash with an elbow drop to the back for a near fall. Lash with a wrist lock and she bends Alexa's arm and she connects with a knee. Lash lifts Alexa in the air and Lash with a short arm clothesline for a near fall.
Nia tags in and she punches Alexa in the midsection. Nia uses her rear end to choke Alexa in the ropes. Nia misses a splash into the corner when Alexa moves. Alexa with punches and Nia sends her to the mat and she knocks Flair off the apron. Flair argues with the referee and Lash punches Alexa in the corner. Lash tags in and she connects with forearms. Nia with a side slam and Lash with a splash for a near fall. Alexa kicks Lash and tries to make the tag but Lash with a double sledge to the back. Alexa kicks lsh and she goes to the turnbuckles and goes for a cross body but Lash catches Alexa. Alexa escapes and makes the tag. Flair goes up top and she hits a cross body.
Flair with a boot to knock Nia off the apron. Flair with chops. Lash pushes Flair away and Flair with a walkover clothesline. Flair does the Flair flip and she kicks Lash. NIa tags in and Nia catches Flair on her shoulders and hits a Samoan drop for a near fall. Nia misses aNIAlator when Flair moves. Flair goes up for a moonsault and hits it but Lash breaks up the cover. Alexa with a tornado DDT off the turnbuckles to Lash. Nia sends Flair into the apron. Nia tries to send Flair into the ring post but Flair escapes. Nia almost hits the Bellas but Flair with a thrust kick to Nikki. Nia clotheslines Flair and Nia knocks down Brie.
Nia misses a leg drop and Flair with a thrust kick and a second one. Alexa tags in and Flair with Natural Selection. Alexa goes for Twisted Bliss but Brie attacks Nia.
Winners: Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair (by disqualification) [Lash and Nia retain]
After the match, Brie punches Nia and Lash with a clothesline to Brie. Nia punches and head butts Nikki. Lash with a forearm to Nikki. Lash holds Nikki and Lash goes to the turnbuckles for a leg drop.
Truth talks to Jelly Roll and Priest shows up and they leave.
Jelly sees Randy and he congratulates him on his win at Elimination Chamber. Randy congratulates Jelly on his Grammys.
Jelly mentions he is on MizTV.
Randy tells Jelly to whip Miz's ass if he talks too much.
Alexa and Charlotte walk in the back and Nikki and Brie stop them.
Alexa say seeing your sister get kicked sucked, but they cost them their match.
Brie says they came back to fight for the titles. She says because of Aldis, they are next.
Match Number Four: Damian Priest and R Truth versus Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo
Angel and Humberto attack Truth and Priest as the bell rings. They pose and celebrate but don't realize that Priest is there for a double clothesline. Priest with punches to both men in the corner. Priest sends Angel into Humberto and Truth tags in. Priest with a face plant and Truth with a scissors kick. Garza stomps on the foot and he punches Truth. Garza chokes Truth in the ropes and he tags in Humberto. Humberto holds Truth in the ropes and Garza with a running knee while Humberto kicks Truth in the back. Humberto gets a near fall. Humberto punches Truth. Truth with a head scissors and he does a split. Garza tags in and Truth misses a kick. Garza holds the ropes open and Truth goes to the floor. Humberto with a springboard drop kick to knock Priest off the apron. Angel and Humberto with moonsaults off the turnbuckles to Truth and Priest. Angel removes his pants.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Truth punches Humberto but Humberto fies back. Angel tags in and Humberto knocks Priest off the apron. Humberto with a leap frog seated splash to Truth. Angel with a punch for a near fall. Angel with a suplex for a near fall. Angel with punches and he mocks Truth's childhood hero and Truth with Stundog Millionaire. Humberto tags in and he is sent to the floor. Angel is sent to the floor and Priest is tagged in. Priest with punches to both men followed by kicks. Priest with cyclone kicks and flying shoulders into the corner. Priest goes Old School with Humberto and he hits the cross body. Priest with a rebound clothesline but Garza makes the save. Priest with a forearm to Angel. Angel makes the save when Priest goes for Razor's Edge. Angel tags in and Humberto with a splash and Angel with a quebrada for a near fall. Humberto tags in and Priest gets his boots up when Humberto goes for a moonsault. Priest goes for South of Heaven on Angel but Angel escapes. Priest with Razor's Edge to Angel. Truth tags in and they hit an Attitue Adjustment and South Of Heaven for the three count
Winners: Damian Priest and R Truth
Alex Shelley is with Candice and Johnny and Alex tries to motivate Johnny. He suggests they get back to basics.
Jade and B-Fab talk in the background.
Sabin shows up and Alex wants a hug. Sabin wants to know why he is still dealing with Johnny.
Sabin points out that Johnny cost them the tag titles. He says they have a match against Fraxiom next week. Sabin wants Shelley to prove that he is devoted to the team.
Miz is in the back and Danhausen stops him to give him a shirt to wear for Miz and Jelly Jam. Danhausen brings up an idea to replace MizTV with his own talk show. Danhausen with a number of REALLYs and then he tells Miz that he is cursed.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Miz is in the ring and his microphone is not working.
Miz brings out his guest, Jelly Roll.
Miz asks why is he here tonight.
Jelly says he was not going to miss his two friends who are main eventing Wrestlemania who are going to sign their contract in one of his favorite cities.
Miz says he sees the potential in Jelly Roll and he needs a mentor. He says that mentor is him. All Jelly has to say is yet.
Jelly says no.
Miz is shocked at Jelly's response.
Jelly says Miz has a history of stabbing his partners in the back.
Miz says Jelly is a good ole redemption story. Everyone celebrates the story, but no one talks about the person behind that story. Two years ago at SummerSlam, you fell on your obese butt and couldn't get up. I reached out my hand and picked you up. You knew you had to change your life.
Jelly asks Miz if he thinks he is responsible for Jelly losing 250 pounds? He is the one who changed his own life and you should be disgusted with yourself for thinking that, Mike.
Miz says he liked Jelly when he was fat.
Jelly says he will whip Miz' ass.
Miz says he is a locker room leader and Jelly says that Miz is an ass.
Kit Wilson interrupts and he tells Miz to stop wasting his time. The problem isn't with you mentoring him, the problem is him.
Jelly says this is getting weird. He says he likes Kit. Jelly does the Kit pose and gyration.
Kit says it is the face tattoos and the criminal charges. It is building a brand on bad behavior and then you come out and mock him when he is trying to have a serious conversation.
Kit says his problem is that he loses 300 pounds and you expect these people to cheer you like a hero. You are running away from who you are and you are Fatphobic. You inspire people? Kit says Jelly sickens him. You promote and unhealthy beauty standard. Jelly Roll is TOXIC.
Jelly gets in Kit's face and Kit pushes Jelly. Miz holds Kit back and Jelly goes to punch Kit but Kit moves and Jelly knocks out Miz.
Kit leaves the ring.
Apollo and Ilja talk about what just happened.
Hayes wants to talk to Ilja and Hayes says he gets what Ilja is about. He says maybe the challenge is a burden for him.
Ilja says he is fighting every minute. He has to go between two extremes. This is the only way he knows how to live because he doesn't know peace.
Hayes says he doesn't understand. Maybe if you didn't give him the chance, he might not be champion. There aren't a lot of people who are lining up to face you so what does he need to do.
Tiffany starts talking about Giulia and Chelsea Green rolls by but Tiffany pushes Green away. Tiffany says that when she is done with Kiana tonight, she will take the US title from Giulia.
Kit tells Miz that this is toxic and he says he is going to talk to Nick.
Danhausen offers some teeth if he lost them. He says he would have been able to help out there. He says there is one thing to reverse the curse.
Match Number Five: Tiffany Stratton versus Giulia
They lock up and Tiffany with a side head lock. Kiana sends Tiffany into the corner and Tiffany floats over twice and gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Kiana with a kick and she sends Tiffany into the turnbuckles. Tiffany avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and she sends Kiana into the turnbuckles. Tiffany flips over Kiana when Kiana drops down. Kiana falls into the ropes and Tiffany misses a running hip and gets caught in the ropes. Giulia distracts Tiffany and Kiana forces Tiffany to the floor and runs her into the apron and ringside barrier. Kiana sends Tiffany into the apron and back into the ring. Kiana with knees to the midsection and follows with a hard Irish whip. Kiana with a punch and kick. Kiana with a punch and she chokes Tiffany in the ropes. Tiffany with forearms to the midsection.
Tiffany is sent to the floor and the referee holds Kiana back so Giulia can get a shot in on Tiffany. Kiana sets for a suplex and Tiffany counters with an inside cradle for a near fall. Kiana with shouldees in the corner and she hits a running shoulder. Kiana gets a near fall. Kiana with a reverse chin lock. Tiffany with a jaw breaker and then they both take the other down by the hair on a flying take down.
Chelsea Green and Alba Fyre make their way to the ring.
Tiffany with clotheslines to Kiana and she hits a handspring back elbow into the corner. Tiffany with a handspring cutter for a near fall. Tiffany gets Kiana up but Kiana gets to her feet and she runs into a boot. Kiana with a Falcon Arrow for a near fall. Tiffany blocks a power bomb and she hits a Finlay Slam. Giulia pulls Kiana to the floor to avoid the Prettiest Moonsault Ever. Tiffany with a suicide dive onto Kiana and Green gets up and she wants to hit Tiffany with a wrench but Giulia stops her and pushes her into the wheelchair. Kiana accidentally kicks Giulia onto Alba and Green. Tiffany with a Finlay Slam and a Prettiest Moonsault Ever for the three count.
Winner: Tiffany Stratton
Next week, The Bellas face Lash Legend and NIa Jax for the tag titles. Kit Wilson will call out Jelly Roll.
Trick Williams walks in the back and Cathy Kelley asks him about his match.
Trick says Nick needs to do his job and he didn't have to make this match but it is all good. Jacob, you want to call me out without my permission?
Sami Zayn stops by and he tells Trick to keep talking. He says he thought Trick was going to walk into the main event of Wrestlemania? You said he was Mr. Can't get the job done and what happened to you. You are going to get jobbed by Jacob Fatu because you can't back it up. You are embarrassed and you should be.
Trick says Sami is lucky he has a match tonight or he would drop him where he stands.
Sami says he is here every week and he is easy to find.
Match Number Six: Trick Williams versus Jacob Fatu
They lock up and they go around the ring. Trick with a punch on the break and Fatu punches back. Fatu with more punches and kicks. Trick with a knee to the midsection and he chops Fatu. Fatu with an Irish whip and Trick leap frogs Fatu and Fatu goes into the corner. Trick sends Fatu into the turnbuckles, but remember the thing about people from Pacific Islands. Fatu with kicks and a back elbow. Fatu with head butts to Trick in the corner. Trick with a neck breaker and Fatu bounces up and isn't impressed. Trick is shocked that Fatu is on his feet and Fatu with a clothesline and back senton. Fatu with a handspring moonsault. Fatu clotheslines Trick over the top rope to the floor. Fatu goes for a suicide dive but Trick with a forearm to stop Fatu.
Trick with a clothesline on the floor. Trick poses on the announce table and then he breaks the count. Trick send Fatu onto the announce table. Fatu blocks a chop and Fatu with a punch. Fatu chops Trick against the ringside barrier. Fatu sends Trick into the ring steps. Fatu sends Trick into the ringside barrier again. Fatu breaks the count and returns to the floor. They return to the ring and Trick with a spinning heel kick and the weather alert siren sounds. Trick punches Fatu. Trick with a reverse chin lock. Fatu with punches and a hard Irish whip. Fatu runs into a back elbow. Fatu with Whisper in the Wind for a near fall. Fatu punches Trick and head butts him. Trick with a cyclone kick and a kick followed by a leaping neck breaker for a near fall.
Trick misses a jumping side kick and Fatu with a punch. Trick with a flap jack and he kicks Fatu. Trick sets off his internal alarm and he hits a uranage for a near fall. Trick sets for the jumping knee but Fatu with a super kick and a pop up Samoan drop. Fatu with a running hip and Fatu buffers. Fatu goes up top and he hits a swanton for a near fall. Fatu goes for the double jump moonsault but Trick rolls to the floor. Fatu with a shoulder tackle off the apron.
Drew McIntyre attacks Fatu and sends him into the ring post. The referee holds Trick back and did not see any of this. Trick with a running knee to Fatu. Trick sets for the running knee and he hits it for the three count.
Winner: Trick Williams
After the match, Drew stands over Fatu and sets for a Claymore. Drew with a Claymore to Fatu.
TABLE, CHAIRS, MICROPHONES, and CONTRACT join Nick Aldis in the ring.
Nick says it appears that Drew didn't quit. He welcomes Drew back and tells him he gets Jacob Fatu next week.
Nick brings out Randy Orton first, followed by Cody Rhodes.
Cody says in 2007 he came to WWE and his first match was against Randy Orton. He went on to watch Randy win the Rumble. He saw Randy main event Wrestlemania and he thought he would like to be like that. Cody says he left and Randy said he thought he would be World Champion. He came back to WWE but he didn't have his usual group with him, but he had Randy. Cody says he has always been proud to be Randy's boy.
Cody signs the contract and gives it to Randy.
Randy looks at the contract and he stands up. He tells Cody that he needs that, as he points at the sign. It was supposed to be easy. It was supposed to be Drew.
Cody says he wants to make it easy for Randy. He wants the Legend Killer. He wants the guy that JBL said he would make a wrestler based on. He expects the man with the three most dangerous letters in WWE. That is when the bell rings. When the last bell rings, he will always love Randy.
Randy signs the contract and they shake hands and hug.
Randy sends Cody into the table and kicks him in the ding ding.
Randy rips off Cody's suspenders and shirt. Randy sends Cody to the floor. Randy sends Cody into the announce table and he hits Cody with the steps.
Nick wants to know what is going on and Randy pushes Nick.
Randy rubs the blood on Cody's head and connects with forearms. He sends Cody into the ring steps again. Randy punches Cody. Randy puts Cody on the announce table and he puts Cody's head in the the side of the ring steps.
Officials make their way to the ring to stop him. Randy pushes Jelly Roll down and he doesn't realize it was him. Randy leaves and heads towards the back.
They check on Cody and Randy returns wit a chair and he hits the steps around Cody's head with the chair. Randy looks around and he stands over what is left of Cody at this time. Randy goes back into the ring and he picks up the title belt and sits down in the chair he used on Cody.
