MJF TALKS AEW REVOLUTION AND MORE ON 'CALIFORNIA LIVE'

By Mike Johnson on 2026-03-13 14:50:00

AEW Champion MJF appeared on California Live this morning to promote Sunday's AEW Revolution PPV, where he will defend against Hangman Page in the main event Texas Death Match in Los Angeles, CA.

MJF said he's a big deal and they have a massive event this Sunday.  He plugged he was in Happy Gilmore 2 and will be in Violent Night 2 this December.

MJF said he loved professional wrestling his entire life and walked out of a college football scholarship because he wanted to do pro wrestling.  He joked you could imagine how his parents felt when they found out why but now they love it.

MJF says he enjoys being a villain because he hates people and most of them are gross.  He's a polarizing guy and people dislike it when someone excels at something and brags about it.  He's proud of being champion and proves his greatness repeatedly.

They plugged the match against Hangman Page.  MJF quipped he's one of the worst people who's ever lived.  He knocked Page and said he wasn't very bright.  He noted they have no rules and the only way to win is to destroy your opponent.

They showed a clip from Happy Gilmore 2.

The usual fun, entertaining MJF appearance.
