Moloney goes to cradle Uemura in a Victory Roll position, but Uemura rolls him into a cradle and gets the pin.
Yuya Uemura advances to the next round to face Shingo Takagi.
The ending sequence was problematic. On commentary, they have been selling the Drilla Killa as a devastating move that knocks everyone out. Moloney has won several matches this year with that move. Uemura was able to escape three Drilla Killas and got caught with one, but was immediately able to pin Moloney anyway. This hurts the impact of the finisher and Moloney at the same time. Uemura should have won, but it would have made more sense for him to get the win by avoiding the finisher altogether and using wrestling to win. Uemura continued to lay on his back, selling the Drilla Killa, even after Moloney made his way back to the locker room. Uemura needed assistance to get back to the locker room, which makes no sense how he got the pin.
