I’ll get right to it, since SD just ended.
1. They f***ed Drew. I know it’s a business, etc. but at this point, I have to wonder, has he pissed someone off, or is he just criminally undervalued? SUPER disappointed in that finish.
I agree. I don’t now why HHH won’t actually give Drew the chance to run with the ball but it’s pretty clear at this point than he won’t. I think that he and Randy Orton could have been a really fun program and that they could have gotten to Randy Orton-Cody Rhodes later. Cody didn’t need to be in a Title match. He is a made guy and any match he is in is akin to a Title match, but here we are. My guess is that they think Randy-Cody will move more tickets.
2. I thought Jade and Rhea’s face off was….strange. Jade used your favorite line, albeit sarcastically “I respect you“. And then they talked about their physiques. It was odd. Did it work for you?
It did work for me. I like that Rhea acknowledged Jade was built like a monster but then changed it to she is built to fight. I liked their interaction and I want to see where it goes. Jade is in the big time now. I want to see how she presents.
3. I think Danhausen & Miz could be really fun. Miz is a trooper, he does whatever is asked, it seems. Do you think you’ll warm up to Mizhausen?
I like it more than I did in AEW. That’s probably as good as it will get for me, but I am not the target audience for him. If he sell merch and brings some comedy, more power to him.
4. I also must confess, Johnny Gargano has been a guilty pleasure of mine lately. I just want to see where he’s laying around.
I have always liked Johnny. I am curious where they go with him. If it’s just going to be comedy I would rather have him go back to NXT and be a player/coach, working with young talents.
