We take a look back at last week's episode of NXT.
NXT Men's North American Champion Myles Borne makes his way to the rin.
Myles says it feels so good to have this title and hear his name announced as the champion. Normally the new champ comes out grateful with a sob story. Not this time because we have been down that road before. You know what he fights for. Instead of thanking the fans and his family for supporting him, he wants to thank his biggest hater, Ethan Page. You said I lacked the killer instinct but instead you lit a fire and unleashed a demon. Myles says he is going to push back. He says he is no angel. If he needs to do that to retain the title, he will do it.
Ethan Page comes out and he says he heard Myles thank him. You would still be meek and not the champion. He says Myles got lucky and anyone can have a good night. Ethan says he has had a million great nights. He became the fastest champion. Then he won the AAA Mixed Tag Champ. He was the longest reigning North American title. If anyone deserves a rematch it should be him.
Myles says he expected Ethan to come out because of Champion's intuition. He says he will talk to Stone.
Ethan says he wants his rematch tonight.
Stone comes out and he says he will give Ethan his rematch, but he wants them to have their gear.
Ethan says Myles said it would happen so he wants it now.
Stone says the match starts now.
Match Number One: Ethan Page versus Myles Borne for the Men's North American Championship
Myles punches Ethan while he takes off his jacket. Myles with an Irish whip and clothesline into the corner. Ethan punches Myles and rips off his shirt. Myles with an Irish whip but Ethan with boots. Myles stops Ethan off the turnbuckles. Myles punches Ethan on the announce table. Myles gets a near fall. Myles with a kick and Page with a punch. Myles with a punch and a swinging suplex for a near fall. Page with punches. Page rolls up his sleeves and he kicks Myles. Page with a head butt and he gets a near fall. Myles with punches but Page with a power slam and he gets a near fall. Page with knees to the back and a reverse chin lock. Myles with elbows but Page adds more pressure to the hold. Page with a forearm and he sets for a suplex but Myles blocks it. Myles tries for a suplex and Page blocks it.
Page with a face buster and he gets a near fall. Page picks Myles up for a power slam but Myles counters with a GTR. Myles with punches. Myles takes off Page's shirt and Myles hit a drop kick. Page grabs the ring skirt as Myles goes for the pants. Page drops Myles on the middle rope. Page takes off Myles' belt and he drops it. Page punches Myles using his belt and he gets a near fall. The pants are off and Page goes for a power bomb. Myles escapes nd he goes for an ankle lock and Page escapes. Myles escapes Twisted Grin and Myles with an enkle lock. Myles hits Page with Ethan's shoe and hits Borne Again for the three count.
Winner: Myles Borne (retains championship)
Sarah stops Zaria and asks why did she attack Sol.
Zaria says if you have to ask, you don't know.
Robert Stone stops Dark State from waiting in the Most Dangerous Parking Lot in Sports Entertainment to attack Tony D'Angel.
They go inside, just as Tony D'Angelo arrives and leaves his car in the middle of the parking lot. He has a weapon with him as he enters.
We go to commercial.
Blake Monroe makes her way to the ring.
Blake says when Jaida interrupted her on her big return, she expected to feel disrespected. When she cost her Speed match, she expected to feel rage and tear her appart piece by piece. What she felt was revealing. It was reassurance. Jaida Parker needs her. You want to paint it as a heated rivalry, but that is not the case. All she did is confrm her. She says the biggest thing someone can do in NXT is interrupt her. She says she is the conversation, the controversy, and the standard. She says it trends every time she competes. People obsess over her. They hate her more than anyone has loved Jaida Parker. Jaida acts on emotions and asks questions later. Jaida cannot step up so she has to step up to her since that is they quickest way to matter. She says the division revolves around her.
Blake says she is going to do some charity and share the spotlight with her at Vengeance Day and walk right through her to get to Stand and Deliver.
Jaida Parker comes out.
Jaida says Blake has jokes. You keep talking about her and Jaida threatens to slap the taste out of her mouth. She says you are trying to tell everyone that this revolves around you and you keep talking about it. She says Blake is insecure and Jaida says she is not insecure. You hate that she is the definition of relevancy. She says she does not care about what people thinks about her. She says Blake has always been the supporting player. She says Blake needs her so you don't fade into the background.
Blake tells Jaida to forgive herself and Jaida tells Blake to shut up.
Jaida says that Blake doesn't believe what she is saying and she is scared. She says Blake did one great thing and if you take away the dramatics, all you have is a mediocre bitch.
Blake slaps Jaida and then Jaida with a double leg take down and punches. Jaida with a running hip to Blake to send her to the floor.
Vanity Project enter with Ricky and Ethan. They apologize for not being out there to help Ethan win.
Ricky tells them to worry about the six man tag match tonight and Jackson's title defense on Evolve.
Ricky says Ethan is great and mentions his accomplishments. Ricky says it all comes around and Ethan will become champion again. You feel like you are on top of the world as a former champion. Ricky says he needs to prep for his performance.
We go to commercial.
Eli and Sean are in the locker room and Elio LeFleur enters. Eli congratulates him on winning. Elio brings up Sean's match on Evolve.
Jasper Troy enters and he says Keanu isn't a threat and he wants his Speed title back.
Josh Briggs shows up and says that Jasper isn't the toughest big guy after losing.
Jasper challenges Elio and Eli to a Triple Threat match next week.
Match Number Two: Wren Sinclair versus Nikkita Lyons in a Speed Tournament Match
They lock up and Nikkita with a sunset flip for a near fall. Wren with a waist lock and Nikkita escapes using her rear end. Nikkita with a kick. Wren with a back heel kick but Nikkita pushes Wren away on a drop kick. Lyons with a split leg drop for a near fall. Lyons with a chop and Wren chops Lyons. Wren with a double leg take down and punches. Wren with a rollup for a near fall. Lyons with a punch to the midsection and a suplex for a near fall. Wren with forearms and punches. Lyons misses a round kick and Wren with a forearm and chops. Wren with a clothesline and a flying clothesline. Lyons goes to the apron and punches Wren. Lyons misses a split leg drop on the apron. Wren drop kicks Lyons to the floor.
Lyons with a spinning back heel kick. Lyons gets a near fall but Wren rolls over for a near fall. Lyons goes into the ring post and Wren with a suplex and Cattle Mutilation that forces Lyons to tap out.
Winner: Wren Sinclair
Joe Hendry congratulates Myles on his win.
Myles tells Joe he loved the Chronicle and his story.
Joe says he appreciates Myles liking it and mentions Myles' story.
Myles says being deaf has benefits because he doesn't have to hear Ricky.
Joe says he wishes he was deaf so he didn't have to hear Ricky.
Myles starts to walk away and Joe apologizes. Myles does the Meme Turn and says Joe isn't the only one with a sense of humor.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at Kelani Jordan and she is training for her match against Lola Vice.
Kelani goes to train with Shayna Baszler. Kelani thanks Shayna for training with her.
Shayna asks Kelani if she knows what she is getting into. Kelani says she made her tap and she can do it again.
Shayna reminds Kelani that she was in an Underground match with Lola and she is the real deal.
Kelani does a handspring to escape and Shayna takes her down.
We move on to the face to face between Izzi and Tatum.
Izzi welcomes Tatum back and she asks if this brings back memories.
Tatum says she notices that Spears and Niko aren't here. Izzi says they know she is safe because if Tatum does anything the match is off. Tatum says you got your power and she beat Izzi at New Year's Evil. Izzi took advantage of the situation to become North American Champion. You say you have changed, but Izzi says she sees the same Tatum who uses dolls. Izzi says Tatum is why Lyra and Izzi left her. She says Tatum is the reason why no one is in her corner. You are a shell without Izzi. Izzi calls Tatum pathetic. Izzi says there is no new version of yourself. You are incapable of being fixed.
Tatum tells Izzi nothing lasts forever. This pain you have put her through is only temporary, just like when she was NXT Champion. She says she thought it would be the best day of her life, but that will be nothing compared to when she takes the North American title from Izzi. You will learn that she isn't meant to be played with.
Tatum leaves and Izzi destroys an innocent doll house.
Match Number Three: Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Shiloh HIll versus Ricky Smokes, Jackson Drake, and Brad Baylor
Vanity Project attack Hank, Tank, and Hill from behind and they fight at ringside. Tank runs Brad into the apron. Drake tells Brad and Ricky to get the stairs and they try to hit Hank and Tank but they miss. Vanity Project is sent into the ring and everyone gets in there.
Security and officials make their way to the ring to stop the madness.
Hank and Ricky start things off and Hank with punches and chops in the corner. Ricky with punches and Hank sends Ricky into the turnbuckles. Hank with punches and kicks followed by an Irish whip but Hank misses a splash into the corner. Ricky with kicks in the corner. Ricky with a chop and Hank with a boot. Hank runs Ricky into the corner and Tank tags in. Tank with a splash into the corner and he gets a near fall. Ricky with a shoudler and Brad tags in. Tank with a slam but he misses an elbow drop. Brad with a splash into the corner. Drake tags in and hits a drop kick. Drake with knees to Tank but Tank with a forearm. Hank tags in and Hank with a shoudler tackle. Tank with a back senton and Hank gets a near fall. Hill tags in and they hit a double shoulder tackle. Hill gets a near fall. Drake with a chop and Hill likes it. Hill with a head butt and shoulder tackle.
Hill goes for a shoulder in the corner but Drake is pulled out of the way. Ricky tags in and he kicks Hill. Brad tags in and kicks Hill.
Keanu Carver shows up and tells Booker to tell him to tell someone to keep his name out of their mouth.
Hill seds Ricky into the turnbuckles and Tank tags in and he does the same. Hank tags in and shirts are pulled up. Tank sends Ricky into Hank's belly. Hill with a clothesline to Drake. We get a triple slam. Brad makes the tag and he grabs Hank. Drake with a kick and Brad with a senton. Drake tags in and he hits a knee drop. Drake knocks Hill off the apron. Hank with chops and Drake with a knee. Brad tags in and then so does Ricky. Brad goes into the corner and Ricky misses a kick. Tank tags in and hits a side slam and a clothesline. Drake tags in and Hank absorbs the Irish whip. Tank with a double clothesline. Hank is sent into the ring post. Drake with a forearm to Tank and Drake misses a splash. Tank kicks Drake and he sends Drake into Brad.
Tank with a back body drop. Brad and Ricky send the ring steps into Tank and trap him. Drake with a drop kick to the back of the head. Drake with a boot to the back. Ricky tags in and kicks Tank. Brad tags in and they snap mare him. Brad with a leap frog neck snap followed by a drop kick from Ricky. Brad gets a near fall. Drake tags in and he works on the arm and he gives Tank a side Russian leg sweep for a near fall. Brad tags in and he punches Tank. Brad with punches. Ricky tags in and he punches Tank. Brad with a leaping flatliner and Ricky with a double stomp for a near fall. Ricky with a reverse chin lock. Ricky takes Tank back to the mat.
Brad holds Ricky and Tank with a back body drop to Drake. Hill tags in and he punches Ricky and Brad. Hill with shoulders and a flying double shoulder tackle. Hill with an inward senton and leg drop for a near fall. Hill sends Drake to the apron and Ricky with a slingshot spear. Brad gets a near fall. Drake tags in and he hits a dragon whip. Drake gets Hank up for a Burning Hammer and Tank breaks up the cover. Tank with a knee to Ricky and Brad with a kick to Tank. Hill with a clothesline to Brad off the turnbuckles. Hank with a Boss Man Slam to Drake and Tank tags in. Shirts come off and they hit the Malachi Crunch. Hank and Tank with suicide dives while Hill hits a spear from the apron. Hill with a pop up TKO and he gets the three count.
Winners: Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Shiloh Hill
Blake Monroe gets on the announce table and she congratulates Jaida. She says Jaida got what she wanted. You truly did bring the hell out of her. She says this ends at Vengeance Day . . . in a STREET FIGHT.
Jaida comes out flanked by security.
Jaida and Blake meet in the ring and they have to be held back.
We go to the back and Osiris is down.
Saquon tells Stone they are going to settle it tonight.
Dion says he is going to call Tony out.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a look at Lola Vice at the doctor and she is advised that she take time off to deal with the fracture. The doctor says it could get worse if she fights in the Underground match and she might lose function in the hand.
Lola says she cannot stay out that long. She says she wants to win a championship and she needs to be on Stand and Deliver. Lola says she signed all of the waivers.
Dion Lennox is in the ring and he tells Tony to come to the ring.
Tony D'Angelo's music plays and he appears in the bleacher.
Tony asks how does it feel that the hunter has become the hunted. Tony says he knows the feeling. You caused the downfall of his life last year and he congratulates Dion. He says you may have killed that man, but Tony says he has come back more dangerous. He took you out one by one. It is time to take your dreams and kill it. Saturday is Vengeance Day. How poetic. That is the day he cashes in his final promise of destroying Dark State by taking you out.
Dion says after taking the titles from them and going after Osiris, he is fighting for four. He says he will run over Tony and then there will be nothing between him and the title at Stand and Deliver. The Dark State takeover is far from over. You better be ready when you set foot on the property because he is going to get him.
Tony says he will be ready to whip Dion's ass in the parking lot and then beat you in front of everyone. One of the two reasons he came back to NXT will be complete.
Sarah asks Jacy about last week and her match against Zaria.
Jacy says the only thing she is trying to escape is being caught between the Sol and Zaria break up. She says Sol is somewhere in this building. If Sol doesn't want to get revenge, Lainey and Fallon understand the mission.
Tavion and Charlie are in the back and Myles stops by.
Myles thanks Charlie for helping him out and he never would have been champion without him.
Charlie says they are just spinning their wheels.
Tavion tells Charlie to look past that.
Lexis says it is time. Uriah says he dropped Kale and they can get what they deserve.
Tavion tells Charlie not to listen to them.
Arianna tells Charlie all of his friends have left you.
Match Number Four: Jacy Jayne versus Zaria for the NXT Women's Championship
Jacy waves towards the entrance and she kicks Zaria and punches her. Zaria pushes Jacy down. Zaria grabs Jacy by the throat and sends her into the corner. Zaria with shoulders and punches. The referee warns Zaria. Jacy with a kick and a head scissors take down. Jacy goes for a hip into the corner but Zaria catches her. Jacy with a victory roll for a near fall. Zaria blocks a head scissors attempt and Jacy escapes a power bomb. Zaria with a bicycle kick and she slams Jacy's head into the mat. Zaria sends Jacy to the mat.
