By Richard Trionfo on 2026-02-23 22:35:00

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

Cole and Corey are in the ring and Cole mentions that tonight we pay tribute to AJ Styles.

Gunther interrupts Corey's introduction and he makes his way to the ring.

Gunther says you were trying your best but it was not good enough.  He tells them to get behind the announce table and talk about how great he is.

Gunther says you are not happy to see him because you idiots came here to celebrate the career of AJ Styles.  He says it is disgraceful to have a celebration for a loser.  You feel for the losers like Bill Goldberg, John Cena, and AJ Styles.  What they all have in common is that he killed their careers.  What should really happen tonight should be a celebration for a truly great wrestler.

Adam Pearce comes out and he tells Gunther that is enough as he makes his way to the ring.

He says he knew that Gunther was going to come out.  We are going to celebrate the career of AJ Styles.  He tells Gunther his boys are escorting him out of the building.

Gunther says he is going to leave, not because he is being told to leave, but because he is disgraced by what is going to happen tonight.

Gunther goes to the back with his phalanx of Pearce's security.

Dragon Lee attacks Gunther from behind and he has to be pulled off Gunther.

Gunther and Pearce argue in the back and Lee jumps Gunther from behind again.  Lee gets Gunther to the ground and he is pulled off Gunther by security.

Pearce asks Gunther if he is happy.

Cody Rhodes stops by to look at Gunther and then he walks to the ring.

Cody says he knows what you want to talk about and that is AJ Styles.   He says AJ is wrestling royalty.

Bronson Reed's music plays and he is joined on the stage by Paul Heyman, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory.

Austin takes the mic and he says he cannot stand this place.  He does not like that you disrespect Paul and the group.  He says he is ashamed to be from Atlanta.

Logan says he is not ashamed to be from Atlanta . . . Cody Rhodes.  Just like everyone from Atlanta, he has zero common sense.  Showing on Raw?  Are you insane?  When Bronson wins tonight and wins the Elimination Chamber and wins at Wrestlemania, they are taking over Smackdown.  You will be the first person out the door.

Cody says he doesn't know but he is pretty sure that there is someone who would disagree with that . . .

Jey Uso's music plays and he comes through the crowd with his brother Jimmy.

Liv turns to Jade and punches Stephanie with the mic.

Jade backs away while Liv punches Stephanie many times.  Liv with a Codebreaker and then she takes Stephanie's title belt and hits obLIVion.  Liv holds the belt up.

Brock Lesnar comes out and does the Brock Bounce, making sure he doesn't fall on his rear end again, and then makes his way to the ring, with Paul Heyman.

Paul does his introduction for himself and Brock.

Paul says Wrestlemania traditionally has two main events, the title match and the Undertaker streak.  Paul reminds us that Brock ended Undertaker's streak so that main event spot went to Brock.  The only dead man walking is the one who comes down the aisle to face Brock.  Who will fight Brock at Wrestlemania?  He does not have a prediction or spoiler because there was not one person man enough that he could identify to take the ass kicking of biblical proportions at Westlemania against Brock.

Paul says these are Brock's appearances on the Road to Wrestlemania.  Will be on the five Raws starting on March 16th.  If anyone wants to experience a victimization, all that man has to do is get in the face of Brock Lesnar.  Paul says he doesn't think that is going to happen.  No one will answer Brock's open challenge.  You can have all the title matches you want, the real main event is whomever is going to get their ass kicked and conquered by Brock.  There is no one in that locker room with the balls to take that ass kicking at Wrestlemania from Brock.

Paul drops the mic.

Becky Lynch asks what AJ has ever done.  You held one butterfly belt, but Becky says she changed the game.  She says she has taken this business to heights it would never reach with you.  You do not deserve to hold this, but she deserves to get rid of you and retire you in front of your friends and family in your home town.  You will be the least talented AJ to retire this year.  She proves it on Saturday.

Match Number Three:  Je'Von Evans versus Kofi Kingston

We take a look at AJ with more comments from the wrestlers.

Frankie Kazarian walks in the back and he sees a Boiler Room and he opens the door.  Abyss comes out.

CM Punk makes his way to the ring.

We see the first AJ Styles/John Cena match.

Finn Balor says CM Punk isn't the only person with someone mad at him.  He needs to prove why he has to do it on his own.  He needs to prove to the doubters and Judgment Day that he can be champion.  It has been ten years.  When he lost to Punk in Belfast, he learned to stop asking himself what if and saying when.  When you beat CM Punk.  When you become World Champ.  When you main event Wrestlemania, there will be no what ifs.  People will know who is the best in the world.

Punk says tonight is not about him.  He says he is here to celebrate AJ Styles so he says the crowd can chant for AJ.  Punk says he wants to save time for AJ to speak to his people.  He has a big day in front of his people in Chicago.  He needs to address a few things.  He asks what if this was the last time he got to say if it is great to be alive and in Atlanta?  What if?  Finn talked about what ifs.  What if you didn't jump him in Toronto and ruin the last time he would share a ring with AJ Styles?  You wouldn't be getting a title shot.  It is risky being a fighting champion.  He says he is doing the best he can.  He is giving you a fighting champion and following in the footsteps of the great.

People like Terry Funk, Harley Race, the Undertaker, Bret Hart, and others.

He says he doesn't like to deal in what ifs?  Punk asks what if Roman Reigns was here tonight?   This is why he doesn't like dealing in what ifs because it isn't rooted in reality.  He says he is in every town with boots on the ground.  What if Finn Balor beats him and he loses?  No risk, no reward.  The reality is that Roman will be here next week.  What if he doesn't wait until Wrestlemania and he punches him in his stupid face next week?  He doesn't deal in what ifs, he deals in facts.  He will ask Finn and Roman ask themselves what if.  He doesn't have to say what if he was champioin because he is.  He doesn't have to ask what if he was the best in the world because he is best in the world.  He doesn't have to ask what if he is in the main event of Wrestlemania because he is the main event.

Petey Williams, Jeremy Borash, and Omos are in the back.

Match Number Four:  Iyo Sky versus Kairi Sane versus Raquel Rodriguez in an Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match

Jade tells Cathy she doesn't care about any of these women and . . . we go back to the broadcast.

We have a video package for AJ Styles.

AJ Styles' music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

AJ says he was going to wear a suit,, but the last time, he beat the piss out of Cody so he decided not to wear a suit.  He says he thought it would be easy, but if he gets choked up, it isn't because he is sad.  AJ says he is so grateful to be in Atlanta.  He says he grew up 45 miles down the road in Gainesville, Georgia.  People don't get to have a celebration like this when they retire and he is thankful for this night.  AJ says thank you.

He says in his core, he is still that kid from Gainesville, Georgia who fell in love with wrestling.  He wrestled in Gainesville, The Asylum, the Tokyo Dome, and at Wrestlemania.  He says he wrestled some OGs.  Daniels, Joe, and Frankie Kazarian made their marks on wrestling.  Then he went to Japan.  AJ says he met some Good Brothers over there.  Gallows and Anderson showed him what it was like to have fun.  AJ says if you are having fun, he is having fun.  He says he has done almost everything . . . Almost.  The one thing he hasn't done is be a full time father.

AJ says you have heard this before.  Missed birthdays.  Missed anniversaries.  Missed games.  He has missed them all.  AJ says his flex should be all of the titles he won all over the world.  AJ says his biggest flex is having the best wife in the world.  You never showed him down and told him to stop.  You pushed him forward and held the family together.  You are the one.  AJ tells his wife that he loves her.  AJ thanks his family for being here.

He says things might not have gone they way you wanted to against Gunther at the Royal Rumble.  AJ says it wasn't the way he wanted it to go.  It is poetic.  AJ says not many people get to go out where they started.  AJ mentions he made his debut at the Royal Rumble in 2016.  His last match was at the 2026 Royal Rumble.  AJ says he didn't leave his gloves in the ring, but he is a man of his word.

AJ takes off his vest and puts it on the mat.  He didn't take off his gloves at the Royal Rumble because he wanted to take them with him to the house and then come to Atlanta and be in this ring and leave his gloves at home.   AJ takes off the gloves and puts them on top of the vest.

AJ says he would be nothing without you and he thanks everyone for their love and says he loves all of you.
