'WHEN GIANTS WALKED HERE' DOCUMENTARY ON PRO WRESTLING HISTORY IN RALEIGH, NC WINS EMMY AWARD

ASE Wrestling announced Chris Lea had won a Sports Emmy for the excellent documentary on pro wrestling's interwined history in Raleigh, NC, When Giants Walked Here:

If you’ve ever watched an ASÉ Wrestling Show - then you know his voice -

ASÉ WRESTLING’S VERY OWN, @ChrisLeaTV is NOW AN EMMY AWARD WINNER! Lea won an Emmy tonight for his work on his PBS documentary “When Giants Walked Here,” a documentary about the historic Professional Wrestling Venue - Dorton Arena, and culture of North Carolina Professional Wrestling that it helped keep alive.

"Raleigh’s Dorton Arena is famed the world over for its groundbreaking architecture. Its greatest untold legacy, however, is its place in the history of a Southern mainstay: pro wrestling. This documentary chronicles the rise and fall of pro wrestling at the iconic venue, examining its impact on generations of fans, competitors and the sport itself."

David Crockett, CW Anderson and George South are among those interviewed in the film.
