Welcome to PWInsider.com's AAA Lucha Libre TV report.
Corey Graves, JBL, and Rey Mysterio are the announcing team.
La Parka vs. Jack Cartwheel
They show Parka's appearance in the Royal Rumble. JBL compares Cartwheel to a young Sean Waltman. Cartwheel nails his signature cartwheels and flips, even rolling Parka through. Parka answers with an arm drag and a dance break. Cartwheel attempts a whip, evades Parka in the corner, and flips through, only for Parka to show he can match the agility. Cartwheel misses in the corner but connects with a neckbreaker, then a crucifix bomb that sends Parka rolling to the floor. Cartwheel cartwheels into a moonsault to the outside. He trips Parka and looks to fly again, but Parka counters with boots up. Back inside, Parka lands consecutive backbreakers and a flapjack, then a twisting Michinoku Driver for two. Cartwheel escapes from Parka’s shoulders and spikes him with a poison rana. He heads up top, but the twisting splash misses. Parka backdrops Cartwheel into the turnbuckle. Cartwheel spills outside, and Parka follows with a tope suicida. Back in the ring, Parka hits a rolling cutter, hoists Cartwheel up, and delivers the Bonebreaker for the three-count.
Your winner, La Parka!
A little short, but they put a lot into what time they had. Cartwheel has something really fun about him.
They went to a video package on Mini Vikingo being attacked by Omos. They played sad music for a hospital visit. Mini Vikingo's mother wonders why this happened, as he only had a dream to wrestle. Clad in a neckbrace, Mini Vikingo says his heart hurts more and he just wanted to honor Hijo del Vikingo. There were flowers from Vikingo promising to see him soon.
Santos Escobar says that since he returned, nothing has changed. Cheaters, liars, and imposters still dance for applause while hiding their emptiness. They’re fragile, he says. That makes him judge, jury, and executioner. He promises to put El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. on trial to determine if he deserves a place at Rey de Reyes. Wagner isn’t the man he once was. Escobar says he is the hand of fate.
Faby Apache & Adelicious & Jessy Jackson vs. Las Toxicas, Flammer & La Hiedra & Maravilla
Faby dropkicks Maravilla and nearly steals it with a bridged backslide. Adelicious tags in and executes some kicks before La Hiedra tags in. Hiedra dishes out a backbreaker and some hair-pulling; a powerbomb attempt turns into a rana exchange. Jessy Jackson tags in with running elbows and a meteora for two. After knocking Flammer off the apron, Jackson gets caught. Hiedra capitalizes and Flammer tags in. Maravilla joins, and the trio crotches Jackson on the ringpost before Flammer lands a head kick for two. Jackson rallies with a double clothesline and tags Adelicious, who hits a top-rope crossbody and a headstand dropkick from the outside. A 450 splash nearly ends it, but Hiedra breaks it up. Chaos ensues. Adelicious takes an elbow from Hiedra and a dropkick from Flammer before being pinned.
Your winners. Las Toxicas!
This was solid.
El Grande Americano Original says the other Americano is a take and knows zero about lucha libre. He says he's going to win at Rey de Reyes and will be Mega Champion.
They showed clips of Panic Clown being attacked. Psycho Clown visits him. Lots of hospital visits this week! He doesn't know who attacked him.
They air a package on Abismo Negro vs. El Fiscal. Fiscal says Abismo is destroying the name of the original Abismo, his father.
AAA Tag Team Championship Top Contender Match: Los Americanos (Rayo & Bravo) vs. War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) vs. Money Machine (Garra de Oro & Colmillo de Plata)
Bravo and Colmillo start out. Arm drags and dancing from Los Americanos. The War Raiders destroy everyone and clear the ring. Los Americanos respond with a double flying headbutt that sends Ivar to the floor. Money Machine attempt dives, but War Raiders overpower them on the floor. Back inside, Ivar punishes Rayo, slamming him into Erik’s knee. Rayo eventually counters with a tornado DDT, and Bravo fires up with strikes and a clothesline flurry. Rayo moonsaults onto everyone on the floor. Bravo tries to lift Ivar, which went hilariously wrong. Ivar lifts Oro for a powerslam and heads up to the top. Erik prevented Colmillo from getting involved. Ivar splashes Garra for the win.
Your winners, The War Raiders!
Man, did these guys need that win.
After the match, Pagano and Psycho Clown come down and stare down their next challengers. Murder Clown runs down, screaming for them. They return backstage, where Dave the Clown has been attacked and is heading to the hospital via the ambulance. Yep, more hospital visits in our future!
