AEW Collision was recorded earlier today at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. The commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Excalibur.
Jon Moxley (Continental Champion) vs Konosuke Takeshita
They glare at each other and circle the ring before locking up. They move to running the ropes and shoulder tackles. Takeshita gets a big boot and they each try for a finishing move to no effect. They lock up again and they move to mat wrestling with a clean break. They lock up again and Mox grabs an arm bar. Mox pulls Takeshita to the mat where Takeshita reverses into a side headlock takeover. They go back and forth with arm bars.
When Mox breaks free, he chops, and they go back and forth with chops. Mox ends it with a kick and Takeshita gets a back body drop. Takeshita misses a clothesline and goes to the floor when Mox dives onto him. Mox starts throwing punches on the floor and then whips Takeshita into the barricade. Takeshita reverses a whip into the barricade and follows with a big boot.
They return to the ring and Mox gets a big boot and a piledriver, and Takeshita lands under the ropes. Mox beats Takeshita down in the corner. Takeshita fights his way out of the corner and Mox gets a thumb to the eye. Takeshita is taken to the apron where Mox knocks him to the floor with a dropkick as we go to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, Mox covers for a two-count after working over Takeshita’s hand. Mox gets a rear chinlock. Takeshita works to his feet and fights free. Takeshita gets a big boot on Mox after Mox comes off the ropes, and then hits a flying clothesline. Takeshita gets a big boot in the corner followed by a Blue Thunder Bomb for two because that move never wins a match.
Takeshita goes to the top and Mox joins him. They throw hands on the top and Takeshita rakes Mox’s back. Takeshita tries for a sunset flip powerbomb, and Mox blocks it and gives Takeshita ten in the corner. Takeshita pulls Mox from the corner for a powerbomb for two. They throw hands in the middle of the ring and Mox gets a cutter on Takeshita. Takeshita rolls to the apron. Mox joins him there and gets a curb stomp on the apron. Takeshita slides into the ring at nine and Mox hits him with another curb stomp for two. Mox grabs a rear chinlock.
Five minutes remaining.
Takeshita works to his feet and Mox makes it into a sleeper hold and pulls Takeshita down. They hand fight as Mox holds him and Mox turns it into a cross armbreaker. Takeshita rolls back for two and Mox reapplies the armbreaker. Takeshita gets to the ropes for the break. Mox gets a kick and Takeshita rises defiantly. Mox continues with kicks and Takeshita calls for more. Takeshita blocks a kick and hits a pair of exploders and then a running knee strike for two.
Takeshita slowly gets another suplex for two. Mox avoids a knee strike and they go back and forth with different holds, nothing catching until Mox gets a Death Rider for two.
One minute remaining.
From here, the match goes into hyper speed with Mox and Takeshita hitting headbutts until they drop. Mox gets a big lariat for two. Takeshita gets a lariat for one. Takeshita gets a running knee to Mox for two and the bell rings.
A Time-Limit Draw, Jon Moxley Retains the Continental Title
After the match, both men are slow to recover, but they go face to face. Mox pie-faces Takeshita and Takeshita hits Mox with a Burning Fire.
We get a video with Kyle Fletcher after his TNT Title win after Dynamite. Kazuchika Okada says he believed in him, but Takeshita did not. Kyle says he thanks Okada for not interfering in the match and asks him to not interfere in his match on Collision. Okada says he still feels bad about the screwdriver mix-up a few weeks ago, but Kyle says it’s all water under the bridge.
We then get a hype video for Kyle Fletcher vs Mark Briscoe.
Then there is a hype video for Kris Statlander and Thekla’s feud.
Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron), AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions, vs Megabad (Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford)
Harley and Bayne start the match and Harley attacks at the bell. Ford and Willow hit the ring as well and it’s all four women brawling. Willow is rolled out of the ring and Ford goes to the apron so that she and Bayne can work over Harley with quick tags. Harley fights out of the corner and tags in Willow who throws hands with Bayne, and then hits Bayne with a suplex. Ford attacks and Willow suplexes her as well and then hits a cannonball senton onto Ford and Bayne on the floor.
Ford is rolled into the ring and Bayne is already in the corner and Willow whips Ford into Bayne. Willow gets a shotgun dropkick from the top into Megabad as we go to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, Willow has been the babyface in peril. Willow is able to bounce off the ropes for a clothesline after Bayne nails her with a knee strike. Harley gets the hot tag and runs wild. Bayne and Ford are able to get double-team kicks and strikes to cover Harley for two. Harley is pulled into Megabad’s corner and they set for the Doomsday Device, but Ford comes off the top with a moonsault into Willow on the floor instead. Harley rolls up Bayne for two.
Harley gets a casadora into a single crab on Bayne. Ford dropkicks Harley to break the hold and Willow clotheslines Ford. Bayne gets a shotgun dropkick on Willow and Harley hits a Destroyer on Bayne, and all four women are down. All four get to their feet to fight. Bayne is knocked into Ford, who is knocked to the floor, and then Harley and Willow hit a combination Russian leg sweep with a dropkick on Bayne. Willow drops Harley onto Ford with a backpack senton for two.
Harley is tagged in and Willow drops Bayne with a Death Valley Driver and Harley misses a swanton. Ford is tagged in and gets a stunner on Harley, followed by a lariat by Bayne. Bayne dives into Willow on the floor, and Harley gets a backslide on Ford for the pin and the win.
Winners and still AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions: The Babes of Wrath
Lena Kross attacks Harley after the match and joins Bayne and Ford to leave the Babes of Wrath laying while holding all of the title belts.
In the back, The Demand goes over how they beat down Jack Perry and Luchasaurus and they tell Jack Perry to fold ’em or something bad will happen very soon.
Hangman Adam Page vs Andrade El Idolo - Winner challenges for the World Title at Revolution
Don Callis joins commentary as the crowd tells him what they think, and it's not complimentary.
They lock up and move to running the ropes where Andrade gets a shoulder tackle for one. They trade strikes and they run the ropes again as Page gets a dropkick when Andrade tries for a backflip attack. Page sets for the Buckshot Lariat, but Andrade catches him for a DDT attempt that fails. Page tosses Andrade into the ropes and they brawl to the floor. After dropping Page, Andrade gets a selfie and phone numbers from a girl at ringside. Page breaks it up and takes a selfie of his own with her.
No phone numbers, though, as Page is married.
They return to the ring and trade chops. Andrade forces Page to the corner and then fights to the middle of the ring where Page gets a fallaway slam. Page hits a shooting star for two. Page lays in chops in the corner and puts Andrade on top. Page joins him and they go back and forth until Andrade goes for a sunset flip powerbomb, but Page holds on. Page lands on his feet. They go back and forth until Page tosses Andrade over the top and gets a pump kick through the ropes, but Andrade stays on the apron. Page charges, and Andrade gets a springboard slam for two as we go to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, Andrade has a side headlock on Page on the mat and Page works to his feet, but Andrade drops him. Andrade hits dismissive slaps and Page gets to his feet and they throw hands. Andrade gets a big boot and they go back and forth with attempted attacks until Page gets a rolling lariat. Page gets a running lariat in the corner and then a pop-up Liger Bomb for two.
They move to the apron and trade blows. Page gets a basement lariat to knock Andrade to the floor. Page joins him and rolls Andrade into the ring. Page goes to the top for a leaping lariat for two. Andrade fights out of a Deadeye and gets the Three Amigos suplexes for two. Andrade goes to the top and taunts the crowd. He then hits a double moonsault press, but Page gets his knees up. Despite this, Andrade covers for two.
Page is able to knock Andrade to the floor and tries a dive, but Andrade dodges it and misses a tornado from the top. Page gets a fallaway slam into the barricade on Andrade. Page goes for a Buckshot Lariat and Andrade gets a spinning backfist for two. Andrade gets a running double knee strike in the corner and follows with a leg sweep DDT for two.
Page gets a jackknife pin for one and they trade one-count rollups. Page gets a Deadeye and Don Callis goes to the ring to argue with the ref on the apron. Page goes for a Buckshot, but Andrade goes for a low blow and Page catches it. Page gets a low blow of his own and then hits a Buckshot Lariat for the pin and the win.
Winner and getting a Title Match at Revolution: Hangman Adam Page
Toni Storm and Orange Cassidy vs Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta - Tornado tag match where the person who gets pinned has their head shaved.
Cassidy and Storm attack as Yuta and Shafir come to the ring through the crowd and they fight through the crowd. Yuta chokes Cassidy with his hoodie, and Shafir sits on Toni’s head while drinking a fan’s beer. As Cassidy breaks free, they brawl toward the ring. Everyone fights over to some equipment cases, and Yuta hits a piledriver on Toni on top of the cases. As medical checks out Toni, Shafir and Yuta attack Cassidy.
Luther carries Toni to the back and Cassidy is rolled into the ring as Shafir and Yuta double-team him, which leads to us going to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, Shafir and Yuta are still working over Cassidy. Cassidy is able to get a dropkick with hands in his pockets and Shafir gets a takeover and then mocks him over his dancing with Toni. This brings Toni back from the back. She gets a low blow on Yuta, hits the ring and gets German suplexes on Shafir. She catches Cassidy, then they dance and attack Shafir, who is able to get a series of kicks on them.
Yuta returns to the ring after Cassidy gets a Beach Break on Shafir. Cassidy covers Shafir for two, and Yuta does NOT break it up. Yuta rolls Toni out of the ring and Cassidy gets a Stundog Millionaire on Yuta, followed by a spinning DDT. Shafir is left in the ring and Cassidy pulls off the elbow pad. Shafir gets a rollup for two. Shafir holds the ankle and as Yuta tries to attack, Toni grabs a chicken wing on him. Shafir lets go of the ankle lock and Toni lets go of Yuta and they throw hands.
Toni drops Shafir with a headbutt, and Yuta hits a Psycho Knee for two. Yuta beats down Cassidy, and then holds Cassidy for Shafir. Cassidy kicks her away and then dodges as Yuta hits a Psycho Knee accidentally. Shafir rolls to the floor and after dodging a clothesline from Yuta, Cassidy dives onto her. Toni hits a German suplex on Yuta, then a hip attack. Cassidy hits an Orange Punch and Toni hits Storm Zero for the pin and the win.
Winners: Orange Cassidy and Toni Storm.
Mina Shirakawa brings in the stool and Luther brings in the equipment and is wearing barber’s clothing. Yuta bails out of the ring and starts to leave through the crowd and backs into Jon Moxley who orders him back to the ring. Mox tells him he signed the contract and has to follow through. Yuta reluctantly gets back into the ring and Shafir gets into the ring as well. Shafir holds Yuta’s hand as they start to cut off his hair. Mina gets the first chunk of hair and then Toni and Cassidy get to work.
We get a hype video for the feud between Kenny Omega and Swerve Strickland.
Kyle Fletcher (TNT Champion) vs Mark Briscoe - Ladder Match
They have words to start the match and then throw hands. Mark tosses Kyle to the floor and dives onto him. Mark works over Kyle on the floor and then Kyle is able to get a half-and-half suplex. Kyle brings a ladder to the ring, but Mark kicks the ladder as he gets to the ring.
They fight over the ladder and Mark slams Kyle onto the ladder.
Mark sets up the ladder on the floor and suplexes Kyle. Mark climbs the ladder. Kyle then tosses Mark into the ropes from the ladder as he is on the apron and Mark crashes to the floor. Kyle then climbs the ladder and moonsaults onto Mark. Mark is rolled into the ring and Kyle sets the ladder up in the corner. Mark gets a series of jabs after avoiding the ladder. Kyle then grabs Mark and lawn darts him into the ladder set in the corner.
Kyle sets up the ladder as we see Mark is busted open. Kyle climbs and Mark joins him and gets a side suplex off the ladder as we go to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, Kyle has been busted open as well and they have set up a ladder between the ring and a ladder at ringside. Mark knocks Kyle onto the ladder bridge and then goes to the top. Mark hits Froggy Bow on Kyle and both men are on the floor. Mark gets to the ring first and starts climbing. Kyle pulls himself into the ring and then grabs Mark’s boot. Mark kicks him away and gets fingertips on the belt. Kyle grabs Mark and powerbombs him into a ladder set up in the corner.
Kyle slowly climbs the ladder and Mark knocks Kyle down with a thrust kick. Kyle gets a running kick in the corner. Kyle brings another ladder into the ring and sets it up between the corner and the ladder in the middle of the ring. Kyle pulls Mark onto the ladder bridge in the ring and they fight in the corner. Mark hits a Jay Driller on the ladder bridge.
Mark slowly gets to the ladder and starts to climb to the top. Kyle slows him down and they fight on the ladder and Kyle knocks Mark off the ladder. Kyle climbs back up and gets a brainbuster from the top of the ladder.
Kyle is the first one up and he pulls the ladder into place. He starts to climb, and Mark pulls a ladder into the ring. He hits Kyle in the back and then sets a ladder up next to him. They fight across the ladders. Kyle kicks over Mark’s ladder and grabs the belt for the win.

MJF (AEW World Champion) vs Brody King
Australia shows they don’t care for ICE either.
MJF pulls a Larry Zbyszko and stalls before locking up. When they do lock up, Brody shoves MJF out of the ring. MJF kicks Brody before a lockup and mocks Brody. They run the ropes and Brody drops MJF with a lariat. Brody puts MJF in the corner and hits chops that sound brutal. MJF cries "NO!" before the next chop and then Brody puts him on top. Brody gorilla press slams MJF and goes for a cannonball, but MJF gets out of the way.
Brody tweaks his knee and MJF attacks the leg by wrapping Brody’s leg around the ring post. MJF goes to work on Brody’s leg, but Brody fights his way free and tries for a Gonzo Bomb, but MJF escapes out the back and hits a chop block. He teases the Kangaroo Kick and when Brody is up he hits it and flips off the crowd.
Brody rolls to the floor and MJF dives into him. Brody is rolled into the ring and MJF goes for a sunset flip. Brody blocks it and misses a senton. MJF grabs a leg bar on Brody’s injured leg. Brody claws his way to the ropes for the break as we go to picture-in-picture.
When we return to full screen, MJF has been working over Brody’s leg through the break and has an ankle lock on until Brody gets to the ropes for a break. Brody dives onto MJF after hobbling across the ring. Both men are down and get into the ring. MJF at five and Brody at seven. MJF tries for a clothesline and hurts his arm. Brody then tosses MJF to the corner and follows with a big backdrop. Brody tries for another cannonball, but he stops when MJF rolls out of the way. Brody grabs MJF through the ropes and MJF bites Brody’s arm to escape.
MJF goes to the floor and grabs a chair. Brody follows him and attacks, biting MJF’s head. Brody hits a running crossbody on MJF into the chair. Both men are down again and the ref counts. Brody rolls MJF into the ring at six and then sets up for a charge in the corner. Brody hits the cannonball in the corner for two.
Brody tries for a Gonzo Bomb, but MJF escapes out the back and locks on a sleeper. Brody drops to the mat and MJF keeps the hold on. Bandido runs to ringside and yells at Brody to never give up. Brody works to his feet and falls backward onto MJF to break the hold. MJF rolls to the floor. Brody gets to his feet and runs into a Heatseeker from MJF on the ropes.
Brody is on the floor and when MJF dives, Brody catches him and drives him into the chair at ringside. The ref is counting again and Brody rolls MJF into the ring at nine. Neither man can do anything in the ring and as the ref is checking Brody’s leg, MJF puts on the Dynamite Diamond Ring, but the ref sees it and as the ref takes it, Brody throws a punch that knocks MJF to the floor. He goes to get into the ring and Brody grabs a sleeper over the top rope.
MJF drops to the floor and Brody rolls him into the ring and picks MJF up for the Gonzo Bomb for two only. MJF pulls Brody to the apron as he goes to the floor and lays in blows. MJF goes after Brody’s knee brace and bites the knee. They fight on the apron and MJF holds the rope to block the Gonzo Bomb. MJF gets a back elbow, but Brody grabs a sleeper while on the top rope. MJF escapes by hammering the injured knee. MJF grabs Brody and hits a piledriver on the apron and again, both men are down.
MJF is up first, gets a Heatseeker for the pin and the win.
