Last night's episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC featured a mention of The Iron Sheik during the opening monolouge, including an old clip of the late, great former WWF Champion cutting a promo on Kimmel and promising to make him humble while Greg Valentine lost it in the background. Kimmel was describing the Sheik while claiming President Donald Trump was going to end up like him, ranting and raving with no one paying him any mind:
Last night's edition of The Daily Show on Comedy Central featured a parody of a pro wrestler named "The Coal Man" cutting a promo on Donald Trump for getting an award from the coal industry, complete with wearing a WWE replica championship belt:
The new Off-Broadway show Bigfoot the Musical (yes, this is a thing) features a line about Andre the Giant when describing the title character. Of course, Andre the Giant played Bigfoot on the old TV series The Six Million Dollar Man. The show is very funny, well written and has a ton of great performers. It was just extended at City Center in NYC.
