PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources that Brody King was never scheduled for last night's AEW Dynamite taping.
King and others flew out of LAX last night to Australia, requiring them to miss Dynamite due to the travel schedule.
Earlier today, reports attributed to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer claimed that Warner Bros. Discovery had pulled AEW star Brody King from AEW programming last night following anti-ICE chants during King's match with MJF the week before in Las Vegas. King has been very active in raising money for families in need in Minnesota.
PWInsider.com reached out to WBD and received back the following statement:
"Warner Bros. Discovery did not have any involvement in Brody King’s upcoming AEW schedule. Any speculation to the contrary is categorically false. Brody is scheduled to appear during the next AEW event, which will air this Saturday on TNT and HBO Max.”
Note from Mike: This should put it all to rest, but hopefully the attention on King leads to more money being raised in his name. Otherwise, what a complete waste of time. You can help King surpass the $51,000 he, Headlocked Comics and Daniel Warren Johnson have already raised at this link.
