Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling released the following documentary on longtime referee and ring announcer Jeff "Drumboy" Kavanaugh and his battle with cancer:
As we have previously reported, Kavanaugh has been diagnosed with Stage Four Colon and Liver cancer and has been battling the disease valiantly.
Kavanaugh frequently served as the ring announcer for TNA (then Impact Wrestling) between Bound for Glory 2017 and Hard to Kill 2020 and has been the ring announcer for Border City Wrestling and occasionally Maple Leaf Pro since that period.
Jeff has been involved with the business in some capacity for over 30 years, notably serving as the referee for The Rock’s only independent wrestling match back in May 1998.
