TEAL PIPER DEBUTS, NWA TAG TITLE, THRILLBILLY AND LATIMER THROW DOWN & MORE: 2/3 NWA POWERRR ON ROKU CHANNEL REPORT

By Mike Johnson on 2026-02-03 23:23:00

Welcome to this week's NWA Powerrr on The Roku Channel Report!

We open with Kyle Davis welcoming everyone and interviewing NWA Champion Thrillbilly Silas Mason.  He said there's only three reasons for a man to wear a suit - a funeral, a wedding or to go to court.  He said the crowd was here to be a jury because he's admitting to a crime.  He murdered Matt Cardona and sent him away to use a name he swore he never would use again.  He said Thom Latimer showed up and stabbed him in the back.  There are consequences to his actions and demanded Latimer come face him like the man he claims to be.  Thom came out and they went face to face.  Mason said he's done a lot of bad in his life, but the worst thing Latimer did was cross him.  Mason said he'll give Latimer a choice.  If he gets on his knees and apologize and kiss Mason's feet, Mason will make it quick.  If he wants to listen to the idiot fans, the suffering will last forever.  Mason showed good conviction.  He's always been a good talker but getting the belt raised his confidence level.  Latimer offered to kick his ass instead and they began fighting.  Security pulled them apart but they kept brawling.

They ran promos from Big Strong Mims and El Dragón Nihan, who will face off tonight.

NWA Tag Team Champions The Immortals cut a promo backstage.  They said The Good Brothers are greatness, one of the best teams to ever do it.  They may have even inspired The Immortals, but with everything they accomplished, their only NWA legacy will be being another team that fell to The Immortals.  They aren't a gimmick.  Whatever is thrown at them, they defeat it, because they are immortal.  Solid.

Big Strong Mims vs. El Dragón Nihan.

Mims and Dragon battled back and forth.  Mims hit a running splash in the corner but was kicked away when he went for a second.  Mims was nailed with a big right but ducked a lariat.  He was caught with a back elbow on the rebound.  Mims was drilled into the corner and nailed with a short arm clothesline.  Dragon bit him on the head but was sent into the corner, where Mims scored with a shoulderblock and a leaping clothesline.

Mims tried to whip him out of the corner but Dragon held on.  Mims nailed a series of shots across the back and a thrust to the throat.  Mims nailed a DDT variation.  Dragon came back with some big chops.  He whipped Mims into the corner but missed a charge.  Mims went back to the shoulderblocks in the corner.  The referee tried to get involved but was shoved down.  Mims speared Dragon.  With the referee down, Elijah Burke hit the ring and teased hitting Mims but lownblowed Dragon instead.  Mims rolled him up for the pin.

Your winner, Mims!

The idea was this surprising due to past issues between Mims and Burke.

Hollywood Haley J & Rachel Ley cut a promo about their tag match.  J was loud and appeared to be scaring the poodle Ley was holding.  J had a good gift for gab.

The Country Gentlemen and Joe Cazana wanted The Slimeballz to face them in the ring.

Hollywood Haley J & Rachel Ley vs. Sirena Veil & Vipress

Vipress and J started.  J was drilled with a big right.  Sirena and Rachel tagged in.  Rachel, who they noted was a gymnastics champion, looked good in the ring from an athletic standpoint.  She went for a cartwheel into an elbow but was caught and drilled into the buckles.  Rachel was caught in the corner.  Vipress sent her into the corner and nailed a short arm clothesline.  Ley was worked over and nailed with a kick to the throat by Vipress.    J finally got the tag and they double-teamed Sirena.  Vipress got involved.  Sirena nailed a Falcon Arrow on J.  Rachel caught her with a jawbreaker and went to the top for a moonsault but Vipress moved her partner.  Sirena nailed a CrossRhodes for the pin.

Your winners, Vipress and Sirena Veil!

They showed the issues between Argento and Smooth that led to them losing a United States Tag Team Title match to The Slimeballz.

EC3 cut a promo saying Argento was going down at the hands of Smooth.

Dr. Vik was on the phone with someone and said he could use their help.

Pretty Boy Smooth with EC3 vs. Christiano Argento

They locked up several times with Smooth shoving him down numerous times.  Argento grabbed a headlock, working over Smooth.  He went for a hiptoss to zero success and was slammed.  Smooth worked him over in the corner and then slammed him down.  Argento was sent to the floor but snapped Smooth's arm over the ropes.  He went to the top and leapt off but was grabbed in mid-air and slammed down.  Argento was chokeslammed and pinned.

Your winner, Pretty Boy Smooth!

Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox came out and had words with EC3.

Kenzie and Kylie Paige cut a promo promising to beat their opponents.

Kyle Davis interviewed Colby Corino, who is recovering from neck surgery.  He said recovering from neck fusion surgery, it's a complicated situation.  They told him he was going to be walking the rest of his life with a cane.  The first thing he thought was how was he going to wrestle with a cane.  He was sent home with an old man walker and used it for a few days, then he realized he wasn't getting better unless he pushed himself.  He started taking a few steps and he'd fall but he kept getting back up.  He said you don't see a cane here.  He doesn't know when but in 2026, he's going to wrestle again.

Pretty Empowered vs. the debuting Teal Piper & Herra.

Kenzie Paige disrespected Piper, who nailed several clotheslines and a bodyslam.   Kylie tagged in but was was hit with several headbutts.  A blind tag allowed The Paiges to take down Piper.  Piper was choked against the ropes.  Piper was nailed with hip attacks for a two count.  Piper finally escaped and tagged in Herra, who showed no fear and no pain.  She absorbed a punch and nailed Kylie with a Samoan Drop.  Kenzie caught her with a superkick out of nowhere.  Piper pulled Kenzie to the floor, where they fought.  Kylie missed a kick and Herra locked in a submission.  Kylie tapped but her foot was on the ropes.  The referee still called for the finish.

Your winner, Herra & Teal Piper!

The Slimeballz and Carson Drake cut a quick promo.

Gisele Shaw said she's here to make a mark and beat Natalia Markova.

NWA Tag Team Champions The Immortals vs. The Hardway.

Carson Drake joined the commentary team.

Jack Vaughn attacking Odinson at the bell.  Odinson came back with a series of uppercuts and a snapmare.  He dropped a knee and followed up with a second.  Odinson nailed a forearm and a right hand.  Vaughn went to the floor but Odinson didn't realize that Dalton McKenzie had made the blind tag.  Dalton nailed a clothesline and the challengers double-teamed Odinson in the corner.  Dalton was whipped into a splash in the corner.  Vaughn then followed suit.  Odinson came back with a back suplex and fought to make the tag to JR Kratos.

Kratos hit the ring and faced off with Dalton.  They charged at each other but neither budged.  They chopped each other, hard.  Dalton came back with a leaping tackle off the ropes but JR snatched him with a powerslam.  Kratos was hit with the Veggiematic for a two count.  Vaughn nailed a splash in the corner but Kratos avoided Dalton and nailed a suplex.  Odinson speared Vaughn. Dalton was killed with a knee and then pinned after a Doomsday Device variation.
