What do the WWE women think of having to totally cover up in Saudi Arabia and have their rights curtailed like that?
I haven’t talked to every woman on the roster but the ones I have spoken to understand that it’s the custom (law) in the country and they have to abide by it if they go and work there.
After the Rumble broadcast, I thought to myself; was that enough pyro?
I loved it. I am a big fireworks fan. Was it enough? It was solid.
At Rumble, after AJ's loss, when he did not leave his gloves in the ring, a storyline popped into my head. AJ Styles entrant 30 in the Rumble because he had signed for the match and was contractually obligated to wrestle. So many ways they could have gone with that and what a pop that would have gotten! Would you have popped?
Actually, no I wouldn’t have. He said that if he lost to Gunther he would retire from WWE. To use a loophole like that would have been a heel move. I wouldn’t have liked it for AJ.
So, I was watching an NHL game on ESPN Thursday night, and after a promo for the Royal Rumble one of the announcers straight up said that Chris Jericho would be returning to the WWE in the Rumble match. (I've tried my best to stay spoiler-free because the Rumble is more fun that way, so I didn't know.) How much does ESPN know about what is going to happen in WWE? Do they know that they shouldn't just blurt out surprises like that? Or is this an "everybody knows but you, dummy" situation?
Obviously, they didn’t know anything. Keep that in mind when you watch ESPN. They have to mention WWE but it doesn’t mean that they know what’s going on there.
