ROH ON HONORCLUB RECAP FOR 1/29/26
Proving Ground Match: Athena (ROH Women’s Champion) vs. Vertvixen
The match begins with Vertvixen attacking the arm of Athena and Athena drops her with an arm drag, Athena gets Vertvixen in a headlock before taking her down. Vertvixen gets up and she drops Athena with a shoulder tackle, Vertvixen trips up Athena before landing an elbow drop. Vertvixen follows up by landing a suplex against Athena, Vertvixen corners Athena before landing a mafia kick. Athena recovers and she cracks Vertvixen with a code breaker, Athena lands a few strikes on a downed Vertvixen before fish hooking her. Athena busts open the nose of Vertvixen after landing a right, Vertvixen fights back and she drops Athena with an arm drag followed by a roll up for a near fall. Athena recovers and she drops Vertvixen with a back suplex, Athena nails Vertvixen with a penalty kick followed by a forearm strike for a near fall.
Athena traps the head of Vertvixen before landing multiple knee strikes, Athena then holds Vertvixen in a kravat. Vertvixen gets free and she sends a charging Athena into the middle turnbuckle, Vertvixen then drops Athena with a head kick followed by a shoulder tackle. Vertvixen follows up by cracking Athena with a disaster kick, Athena fights back and Vertvixen nails her with a blue thunder bomb for a near fall. Athena fights back and she sends Vertvixen out of the ring, Athena goes for a dive and Vertvixen counters with a knee strike. Athena gets back up and she nails Vertvixen with a power bomb into the barricade, Athena sends Vertvixen into the ring steps before getting back in the ring. Athena mounts a downed Vertvixen while landing strikes, Athena traps Vertvixen in the Koji Clutch and a tap out follows.
Winner: Athena (ROH Women’s Champion)
After the match, Athena and her minions attack Vertvixen until Maya World and Hyan make the save.

Anthony Henry vs. Adam Priest
The match begins with Henry dragging Priest to the mat and Priest gets up before backing him into the ropes, Henry sends Priest out of the ring as the ref tried breaking them up. Priest grabs Henry and he sends him out of the ring, Henry returns to the ring and he takes Henry down with a headlock. Henry pops back up and he attacks the arm of Priest, Priest gets free and Henry gets him back down for a short time. Priest gets Henry into the corner while landing some strikes, Priest follows up by nailing Henry with a drop kick. Priest gets Henry on the top turnbuckle and he follows him up there, Henry gets down and he nails Priest with a neck breaker on the turnbuckle hook. Henry traps Priest under the bottom rope before landing a screwdriver neck snap, Henry traps Priest in the ropes again before landing some strikes. Priest falls out of the ring and Henry sends him into the ringside edge and the barricade before getting him back in the ring, Henry gets Priest on the top turnbuckle and he follows him up there.
Priest knocks Henry off the ropes after biting his hand and landing strikes, Priest gets off the ropes before landing clotheslines on Henry. Priest traps Henry in the ropes before landing a release German suplex, Henry leaves the ring and Priest nails him with a through the ropes drop kick. Priest sends Henry into the ring steps before getting him back in the ring, Henry recovers and he nails Priest with a kick as he returned to the ring. Henry misses a top rope double stomp and he still manages to land a knee strike a short time later, Henry’s knees give out and Priest pops him with a piledriver for a near fall. Priest climbs the ropes and Henry kicks him in the head, Henry climbs the ropes and he nails Priest with a superplex. Priest immediately catches Henry in a roll up for a three count.
Winner: Adam Priest
Aaron Solo vs. Tommy Billington
The match begins with Solo getting Billington down before Billington downs him as well, Billington and Solo take turns attack the other’s arm. Solo and Billington then have a striking exchange near the ropes, Billington then drops Solo with multiple shoulder tackles. Solo recovers and he sends a charging Billington out of the ring, Solo misses his dive and Billington cracks him with a few strikes. Billington gets Solo back in the ring and Solo kicks the ropes into his junk as Billington gets back in the ring, Solo then drops Billington with a hard Irish whip into the corner. Solo then hits Billington with a suplex followed by some stomps, Solo follows up by hitting Billington with a suplex and a knee drop. Billington fights back and Solo quickly locks him in a sleeper hold, Billington gets free and he drops Solo with a clothesline. Billington follows up by hitting Solo with a drop kick and slam, Billington goes to the top rope and Solo meets him up there.
Billington knocks Solo off the ropes and he nails him with a missile drop kick, Billington looks for a piledriver and Solo defends before rolling him up for a near fall. Solo then nails Billington with a spinning head kick for a near fall, Solo goes for a power bomb and Billington gets free before landing multiple piledrivers for a three count.
Winner: Tommy Billington
- Rocky Romero meets with Adam Priest backstage, Romero says he heard that Priest has been talking crap about the Don Calllis Family. Priest says the Don Callis Family has been losing titles, Priest then challenges Kazuchika Okada for the AEW International Championship and Romero accepts on his behalf.
JD Drake vs. Katsuyori Shibata
The match begins with Shibata attacking Drake during the handshake, Shibata backs Drake into the corner while stomping away on him. Drake fights back and he drops a charging Shibata with a clothesline, Drake then hits Shibata with a slam followed by a headbutt. Shibata leaves the ring and Drake follows him out there before landing more strikes, Drake gets Shibata back in the ring and Shibata kicks him in the head to send him back to the arena floor. Shibata follows up by sending Drake right in the barricade a few times, Shibata then sits Drake on a chair before nailing him with a few strikes. Shibata gets Drake back in the ring, Shibata drops Drake in the corner after landing strikes and a delayed drop kick. Shibata follows up by hitting Drake with a suplex for a near fall, Drake gets up and he immediately gets into a striking exchange with Shibata.
Drake ends the exchange by nailing Shibata with a spine buster for a near fall, Drake drops Shibata in the corner before landing a cannonball followed by a Vader Bomb for a near fall. Shibata escapes the grasp of Drake before landing a low blow after a ref distraction, Shibata traps Drake in an arm bar to force a tap out.
Winner: Katsuyori Shibata
Maya World & Hyan vs. Viva Van & Lady Bird Monroe
The match begins with Van going after the arm of World and World does the same to her, Van gets free and she rolls up World for a near fall. Hyan and Monroe are tagged in by their respective partners, Hyan drops Monroe before tagging World in. Hyan and World double team Monroe for a near fall, Hyan tags back in and Monroe is double teamed again. Hyan then hits a downed Monroe with a leg drop for a near fall, Monroe fights back and she shoves Hyan into the corner before landing a European uppercut. Van tags in and she nails Hyan with a spinning heel kick, Monroe tags in and she nails Hyan with an assisted moonsault for a near fall. Hyan fights back and she drops Monroe with a clothesline, Hyan tags in World after landing an avalanche on Monroe. World nails Monroe with an assisted blockbuster for a near fall, Hyan sends Van out of the ring before landing a suicide dive. World then nails Monroe with a running boot to the face, Hyan and World hit a trapped Monroe with a flat liner for a three count.
Winners: Maya World & Hyan
After the match, Athena and her minions attack Maya World and Hyan. Athena gets a microphone to remind World and Hyan that they were once her minions, Athena says World and Hyan need to find a partner to face them in a six woman tag team match next week.
Tony Nese w/Mark Sterling vs. Mascara Dorada
The match begins with Nese backing Dorada into the ropes before getting him in a headlock, Nese releases the hold before dropping Dorada with a shoulder tackle. Dorada avoids a leaping Nese before Dorada nails him with a rope assisted arm drag, Nese leaves the ring and Dorada follows him out there while landing strikes. Dorada then sends Nese into the ring post before landing more strikes, Sterling interrupts the attacking Dorada and Nese regains control before sending Dorada into the barricade. Dorada gets back in the ring and Nese knocks him right back out, Sterling attacks Dorada with his arm brace while Nese distracts the ref. Nese leaves the ring again and he sends Dorada into the announce table before getting him back into the ring, Nese traps Dorada in the corner while landing more strikes. Dorada tries fighting back and Nese nails him with a northern lights suplex for a near fall, Dorada fights back again and Nese nails him with a head kick for a near fall.
Nese keeps Dorada grounded while applying a body scissors to him, Dorada gets free and Nese gets him in a grounded bear hug. Dorada gets up and Nese nails him with a corner spear, Nese then nails a cornered Dorada with a clothesline. Dorada fights back again and he nails Nese with a head kick followed by a top rope arm drag, Dorada then drops Nese with a rana and Nese leaves the ring. Dorada then hits Nese with a suicide dive, Dorada gets Nese back in the ring before landing a springboard frog splash for a near fall. Dorada gets Nese on his shoulders and Nese gets free, Nese then lands on his feet during a German suplex attempt to hit Dorada with a double stomp for a near fall. Dorada sends Nese into the ropes before landing a drop kick, Dorada goes to the top rope and Sterling gets Nese out of the ring. Nese hits a distracted Dorada with a clothesline followed by a pump handle piledriver for a near fall, Dorada and Nese have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring.
Dorada ends the exchange after nailing Nese with a spinning head kick, Sterling distracts Dorada and Dorada sends Nese into him. Dorada hits Nese with an electric chair slam followed by a shooting star press for a three count.
