WWE EVOLVE ON TUBI RECAP FOR 1/28/26
- Highlights are shown of the battle between Team PC and Team ID last month on WWE Evolve.
- Team ID is walking outside of the arena talking about their wrestling experience before becoming part of the WWE ID Program. A referee appears and he tells members of Team ID that some of them are not booked tonight and have to leave the property.
- The Vanity Project are backstage and they talk about Jackson Drake keeping the Evolve Title out of the hands of Team PC.
- Kam Hendrix & Keanu Carver from Team PC come out and they discuss taking over WWE Evolve for the night, members of Team PC are sitting in the VIP Lounge. Team PC promises to take over WWE Evolve, then WWE NXT, and then the WWE as a whole. Hendrix says Tate Wilder will face Sean Legacy next, with the loser having to clean the locker room, the winner will face him in the future, and that brings out Harlem Lewis before a third stipulation could be announced. The VIP Lounge introduces the competitors for the upcoming match.
Tate Wilder vs. Sean Legacy vs. Harlem Lewis
The match begins with Lewis attacking Wilder before working over Legacy, Legacy sends a charging Lewis out of the ring before getting tripped up by Wilder. Wilder and Legacy exchange a bunch of arm drags, Lewis returns and he lays out both opponents with a double clothesline. Lewis than lands slams on both of his opponents, Lewis follows up by landing multiple avalanches on his opponents. Legacy and Wilder work together to double team Lewis once again, Legacy traps Wilder in the corner before rolling up Lewis for a near fall. Legacy and Wilder work together to drop Lewis with a double supplex followed by a double clothesline that knocks him out of the ring, Legacy then hits Lewis with a suicide dive. Wilder then lands his own suicide dive onto both of his opponents, Kam Hendrix interrupts the match and he says all weapons are legal as we go to a commercial break.
We return from the break to see Lewis eating a drop kick from Wilder before Legacy nails Wilder with a super kick, Legacy gets a chair from Team PC and Lewis lays him out before he could use it. Lewis grabs the chair and he attacks both opponents with the chair, Lewis looks for a Boom Sling and Legacy counters with a roll up before sending him into a pile of chairs. Legacy hits Lewis with a Sliced Bread for a near fall, Legacy and Wilder have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Wilder knocks Legacy out of the ring and he grabs a kendo stick, Lewis prevents Wilder from using it before nailing him with the kendo stick himself. Legacy gets back in the ring and Lewis attacks him with the kendo stick, Wilder grabs a steel chair and he nails Lewis with it a few times. Wilder then hits Lewis with a springboard splash onto a chair, Legacy misses a head kick before hitting him with a death valley driver onto a chair. Lewis puts Legacy through a table before landing his finisher on Legacy for a three count.
Winner: Harlem Lewis
- The VIP Lounge calls out PJ Vasa next and Vasa makes her way to the ring.
PJ Vasa vs. Laynie Luck
The match begins with Vasa tossing Luck across the ring, Vasa misses a charge in the corner and Luck lands some strikes. Luck escapes the grasp of vasa and Vasa still drops her with a Samoan drop, Vasa goes for an elbow drop and Luck gets out of the way. Luck then cracks vasa with a few strikes before eating an enziguri, Vasa then hits Luck with an avalanche followed by a series of back breakers for a near fall. Vasa slows things down by applying the bear hug to Luck, Luck gets free and she nails Vasa with a head kick followed by a stunner. Luck trips up Vasa before landing a bottom rope elbow drop for a near fall, Vasa fights back and she catches a leaping Luck before landing a strike. Vasa then hits Luck with The Issue for a three count.
Winner: PJ Vasa
- Cappucino Jones is called out next by Team PC, but a message is delivered first by Chuey Martinez about the WWE ID program. The message mainly insults the WWE ID Program and the message ends with saying the program is closed. Kam Hendrix gets the microphone again and he says Jones will be competing with one arm tied behind his back, Hendrick says Brookes Jensen will be Jones’ opponent.
Cappucino Jones vs. Brookes Jensen
The match begins with Jensen trapping Jones in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Jensen then nails Jones with a back elbow strike. Jones fights back and Jensen nails him in midair with a European uppercut, Jensen then hits Jones with a press slam kick for a near fall as we go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Jensen scoring a takedown on Jones, Jones fights back and he attacks Jensen with some strikes. Jones mounts a downed Jensen while landing more strikes, Jensen recovers and he nails Jones with a shoulder breaker followed by a falling headbutt. Jones fights back and Jensen drops him with a right, Jensen keeps Jones down while landing elbow drops. Jensen holds Jones down while pulling back on his arm, Jones shocks Jensen with a roll up for a near fall.
Jensen recovers and he kicks a charging Jones in the knee, Jensen misses a leap against Jones and Jones rolls him up for a near fall. Jensen catches Jones in a chicken wing and Jones rolls through to escape, Jensen lifts Jones up and Jones drops him with a DDT. Jones follows up by nailing Jensen with a bunch of strikes, Jones then hits Jensen with Stundog Millionaire followed by a neck breaker for a near fall. Jones then knocks Jensen into the corner with a drop kick, Jensen recovers and he nails Jones with a backstabber for a three count.
Winner: Brookes Jensen
Handicap Match: Jackson Drake w/Swipe Right vs. Team PC (Keanu Carver, Harley Riggins, & Jax Pressley) w/Kam Hendrix & Braxton Cole
The match begins with Pressley shoving Drake across the ring, Drake fights back and he nails Pressley with strikes before getting tossed across the ring again. Carver tags in and he nails Drake with more strikes before sending him across the ring, Carver misses a charge in the corner and Drake lands a few shots before eating a clothesline. Pressley tags back in and he works over a cornered Drake, Riggins tags in and he stomps away on a downed Drake. Carver tags in and he also stomps away on a downed Drake, Pressley tags back in and he nails Drake with more strikes. Riggins tags back in and he works with Pressley to hit Drake with a double shoulder block for a near fall, Riggins holds Drake down while pulling back on his arms. Drake escapes and he rolls up Riggins before landing some clotheslines, Pressley interferes and Drake takes Carver out.
Drake then knocks Pressley out of the ring with a missile drop kick, Drake then hits Riggins with a power slam for a near fall. Swipe Right tries interfering and they are taken out by members of Team PC, Pressley and Riggins hit Drake with Necessary Roughness. Carver then hits Drake with a pounce, Cam Hendric interrupts and he says he is now in the match. Hendricks tags in and he gets the pin on a downed Drake.
Winners: Team PC (Kam Hendrix, Keanu Carver, Harley Riggins, & Jax Pressley) w/Braxton Cole
