ELIZABETH MUSEUM EXHIBIT, TRAVEL, BEING TOSSED OUT OF THE RUMBLE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2026-01-30 10:00:00

I recall hearing about a Museum exhibit related to Miss Elizabeth.  Do you have details?

The Capital City Museum in Frankfort, Kentucky is still running their exhibit dedicated to the late Miss Elizabeth, who famously managed Randy Savage (and married him) during her WWF run and later managed Ric Flair and Lex Luger, among others in WCW.  She passed away in May 2003 at the age of 42 and was originally from Frankfort.  The Capital City Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted.   The Elizabeth exhibit is housed on the second floor of the facility.   For more on the Museum, click here

If a wrestler in the Royal Rumble is thrown over the top rope, And lands 'hands first ' [or head first], Are they still technically in the Rumble as they didn't land both feet hitting the ground 'FIRST?' What about if they hit the announce table? The announce table is not the floor, are they still in the Rumble?

Yes.  Maybe no.  Probably.

Just saw the report of travel issues over the weekend due to the storm.  I know WWE has their own travel team (in-house I believe).  As a travel agent myself, I can appreciate the level of work and coordination they need to do.  That being said, why in the world would they book a bunch of vans, forcing everyone to drive in the bad weather and storm.  There are plenty of trains from Montreal to Toronto, where the wrestlers can sit back, relax, and not have to drive in risky weather.  They could even book them in business class where meals and drinks are included.  To me, it's a no-brainer.  And that brings up a second question, do they ever book trains for travel in the US?  I would think if they're traveling in the northeast corridor, the train would be a great way to get everyone between cities.  Is this ever done?

I have heard of talents using trains at time, but I believe in the case of the Montreal to Toronto travel over the weekend, there was probably a concern about weather causing train delays, so they went the van route.  My guess is the perspective is that it was a situation where at least the talents/staff can control where they are and pivot if needed.

Will we have an accurate attendance count for Royal Rumble this year? It's hard to find any information online on the number of seats in the venue or on the number of tickets sold, especially since the stadium is a temporary one built just for this event. Does anybody know why they did that, rather than use one of the big soccer stadiums they used in the past?

I don't know how accurate it will be.  No idea why Saudi Arabia decided to build the temporary venue, but given they bought the show, they could place it wherever they want.  They are literally the government there.

Any idea what happened to Samoa Joe?

They said it was a no contact injury while training.  I have not heard anything otherwise as I am writing this.
