THE WOMEN IN SAUDI ARABIA, AEW VS. NXT, MOVING BIG SHOWS AND MORE

The WWE woman's division is so loaded!! So many possibilities to win the rumble.  My pick would be Tiffany Stratton coming back.  Question is, with SA not allowing women to show skin, do you think that with all the women wearing long sleeve and pants attire, it'll take away from their match?

I think that is an individual thing.  Personally, when I see the women in gear that they don’t usually wear it reminds of where they are and why they are wearing it. I guess that means it has an affect on how I view the bout, but I am sure that I will still get into it despite that.

Following on a previous question how many months in advance would WWE need too move a big event like SummerSlam in Minnesota or a wrestlemania too a different city?

They would like as much time as possible, given the logistics involved.  With that said they can also make things work pretty quickly if they have to.  Obviously, they don’t ever want to have to do that.

Every few months, WWE makes budget cuts, aka, several releases in one night. Do you know the process behind the selection of the wrestlers? I mean, has every person in the room a list of names? Did they go case by case with every member of the roster? Did they have a minimum number $ to reach?

It really depends.  Sometimes they are looking to cut salary.  Other times they just don’t have anything creatively for a talent and they let them go.  To me, at the end of the day it comes down to the top brass and who they think is expendable.

NXT consistently beats AEW in TV ratings, is on broadcast TV, and their stars are only one call away from being a WWE Superstar. On the other hand, AEW pays way more, is on national cable television, and can draw 15,000 to 25,000 for their PPV’s - which also draw serious money for the promotion. Which promotion is bigger AND more relevant?

This is one of those questions where it totally depends on your view of the business and what you are looking to get out of it.  They offer different things to its wrestlers and its fans.  Which is bigger?  AEW generates more revenue.  Which is more relevant?  That is purely subjective.  To be people who have WWE aspirations, NXT is the place to be.  To people who don’t, or who WWE has no interest in, AEW is home.
