In speaking with TNA sources about last week's production issues, we were told they were addressed internally and the hope is the issues will be rectified this week.
Bully Ray, who appeared as guest commentator for last week's TNA on AMC main event, gave a speech before the show went on the air to the locker room. We are told he rallied the locker room, noting that there's a famous speech about "the dance" (Paul Heyman before ECW Barely Legal as seen in documentary Beyond the Mat) and that this, for this locker room, was the dance. We are told it absolutely got over with the locker room. Ray was also intimately involved in the backstage segments with Mike Santana, AJ Styles and Frankie Kazarian. There's talk that he may be more involved with TNA down the line, depending on how his current scheduling goes with WWE LFG and Busted Open commitments.
KC Navarro, who has been out of action with a torn ACL, was backstage at the taping.
Steve Maclin was not at the taping. While TNA announced he was out of action and injured, he and his wife Deonna Purrazzo noted on social media they were actually out bowling on a date night.
Daria Rae's TNA debut was covered by Outsports. Rae revealed her initial deal with the company is for six months on Busted Open Radio on SirusXM.
Q106 Radio in Maine covered JDC's retirement.
