ACADEMY AWARD NOMINATIONS THIS THURSDAY, PUNK'S HORROR FILM, ALEX SHELLEY PURSUING A THIRD DEGREE AND MORE

The Academy Award nominations will be revealed this Thursday 1/22, so we'll soon see whether The Smashing Machine nets Dwayne Johnson any nominations for his portrayal of Mark Kerr.

CM Punk's film Night Patrol had a limited release this past weekend in The United States before 800 screens, bringing in an estimated $300,000.  Punk plays a villainous Los Angeles Police Officer in the horror film.  It will be streaming on horror service Shudder in the weeks ahead.  The film's director Ryan Prows spoke with Variety about the film at this link.

The Motor Machine Guns' Alex Shelley announced over the weekend that he was returning to college, pursuing a degree in exercise science at Franklin University while also maintaining his two other degrees:

The new action comedy The Wrecking Crew starring Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa begins streaming 1/28 on Prime Video:

The plot of the film - "Two half-brothers, a loose cannon cop (Momoa) and a disciplined Navy SEAL (Bautista), must work together to unravel a conspiracy behind their father's murder in Hawaii."
