GCW Crime Wave Recap (1/18) – Wichita, Kansas
- The show starts off with highlights featuring Otis Cogar winning the GCW Ultraviolent Title at last night’s event, followed by the return of Allie Katch.
Gavin Ash vs. Terry Yaki
The match begins with Yaki taking Ash down with a headlock, Ash gets free and Yaki drops him with a shoulder tackle. Ash recovers and he drops Yaki with an arm drag, Ash then drops Yaki with a top rope arm drag followed by a cross body block. Yaki leaves the ring and he returns to prevent a dive from Ash, Ash then knocks Yaki back out of the ring before eating a DDT from Yaki during a dive attempt. Yaki then nails Ash with a springboard drop kick for a near fall, Yaki traps Ash in the corner while landing strikes. Ash fights back and Yaki drops him with a modified brain buster for a near fall, Yaki gets Ash on the top rope and he follows him up there. Yaki looks for a superplex and Ash defends before trapping him in the corner and landing a super kick, Ash then drops Yaki with a power bomb. Ash then nails Yaki with a series of strikes followed by a flat liner, Ash then applies a Koji Clutch to a downed Yaki and Yaki eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold.
Yaki gets up and he levels Ash with a discus elbow strike, Ash fights back and he trades strikes with Yaki until Yaki levels him with a DDT. Yaki then hits Ash with a spinning falcon arrow for a near fall, Yaki then hits Ash with a running head kick. Yaki gets Ash on the top rope and Ash somehow sends him to the arena floor before landing a suicide dive, Yaki fights back and he nails Ash with a dive of his own. Yaki gets Ash back in the ring and they immediately do battle on the top rope, Ash then drops Yaki with a Spanish Fly and double knee drop for a series of near falls. Ash goes back to the top rope and he misses the leap off, Yaki catches Ash in a roll up for a near fall. Yaki and Ash exchange more roll ups until Yaki nails Ash with an enziguri, Ash goes to the top rope and Yaki gets him down with a super DDT for a three count.

Cowboy Way (Manders & Thomas Shire) vs. Unsigned & Don’t Care (Gary Jay & Anakin Murphy)
The match begins with Jay taking out the opposition with a suicide dive during their entrance, Murphy also takes out his opponents with a dive. The teams brawl on the arena floor and Manders is eventually sent into the ring post, Shire and Jay take their battle into the ring as a striking exchange breaks out. Jay traps Shire in the corner while landing chops, Murphy tags in and he nails Shire with a knee strike. Jay interferes and he nails Shire with a DDT so Murphy can get a near fall on him, Murphy stands Shire up by hitting him with strikes. Shire fights back and he nails a leaping Murphy with a European uppercut, Shire traps Murphy in the corner while landing strikes. Manders tags in and he whips Murphy with his ring gear, Manders keeps Murphy in the corner while landing chops. Shire tags back in and he works with Manders to hit Murphy with a double clothesline, Murphy tries fights back as Shire works over his leg.
Shire misses a charge in the corner and Manders interferes to prevent a tag, Shire then nails Murphy with a big boot. Manders tags in and he nails Murphy with more chops, Manders also bites the hand of Murphy. Manders follows up by hitting Murphy with a power slam for a near fall, Murphy tries fighting back again and Manders drops him with a chop. Murphy gets angry and he attacks the injured ankle of Manders, Manders knee gives out and Murphy nails him with a super kick followed by a satellite DDT. Jay tags in and he immediately starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Jay drops Manders with a discus elbow for a near fall. Shire returns and he nails Jay with a release German suplex, Shire and Jay have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Murphy tags in and he quickly drops Shire as Manders levels Jay with a lariat, Murphy then hits Manders with a drop kick for a near fall.
Jay then takes out Shire with a suicide dive before getting some chairs into the ring, Jay wraps a chair around the injured ankle of Manders before smashing it with another chair. Jay places Manders onto another chair before Shire takes him out, Shire and Manders hit Murphy with a double power bomb onto some chairs for a three count.

Shotzi Blackheart vs. KJ Orso
The match begins with Blackheart getting Orso in a headlock, Orso gets free and dropping Blackheart with a slam. Blackheart gets Orso in another headlock and Orso gets free before being rolled up for a near fall, Orso gains control and Blackheart nails him with a head kick before sending him into the corner. Blackheart nails Orso with a 619 followed by a head scissors takedown, Orso leaves the ring and Blackheart nails him with a suicide dive. Blackheart sends Orso into the fans before landing some strikes, Blackheart also holds Orso down so the fans can attack him with strikes. Orso recovers and he sends Blackheart face first into the hardest part of the ring, Orso attacks Blackheart before doing some color commentary. Blackheart fights back and she nails Orso with more strikes, Orso gets back in the ring and he nails Blackheart with a knee strike followed by a rolling neck breaker for a near fall. Orso corners Blackheart before landing a cross body smash, Orso then drops Blackheart before landing a basement drop kick for a near fall.
Orso keeps Blackheart grounded while holding her in a cobra clutch, Blackheart gets free and she nails Orso with more strikes. Orso misses a charge in the corner and Blackheart nails him with a release German suplex, Blackheart cracks Orso with a series of strikes before dropping him with a head kick. Orso falls into the ropes and Blackheart nails him with a senton, Blackheart follows up with a satellite DDT on Orso for a near fall. Orso avoids a hold from Blackheart before nailing her with a short Regalplex, Orso then hits Blackheart with a spinning neck breaker for a near fall. Orso misses a Character Assassination attempt and Blackheart hits him with a destroyer for a near fall, Blackheart goes for a sliced bread and Orso traps her on the top turnbuckle, Orso climbs the ropes and Blackheart crotches him on the top rope. Blackheart then hits Orso with a super sliced bread for a near fall, Blackheart goes back to the top rope and Orso avoids her leap.
Orso gets Blackheart to almost hit the referee before landing multiple head kicks, Orso then hits Blackheart with a Character Assassination for a three count.

- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Matt Cardona and Nick Gage.
Matt Tremont vs. Brick Savage
The match begins with Tremont and Savage exchanging shoulder tackles with nobody going down, Savage eventually knocks Tremont out of the ring with a shoulder tackle. Savage leaves the ring and he nails Tremont with some strikes, Savage and Tremont then hunt for weapons and they get them all in the ring. Savage attacks Tremont again and he lands more strikes as they battle into the crowd, Savage grabs Tremont and he sends him into the ring post. Tremont fights back and he cracks Savage with strikes of his own, Tremont grabs some chairs for him and Savage to sit on before trading more strikes on the arena floor. Savage grabs a gusset plate and he stabs Tremont in the head with it, Savage then gets Tremont back in the ring after nailing him with a steel chair shot to the head. Savage cracks Tremont with more strikes while setting up doors in the corners, Savage follows up by dropping Tremont with a back suplex onto a chair for a near fall.
Tremont fights back and he sends Savage face first into a chair that was in the corner, Tremont grabs a steel chair and he attacks Savage with it. Tremont then grabs a fork and he stabs Savage in the head with it a bunch of times, Tremont gets a bag of thumbtacks and he dumps them all over the ring. Tremont then hits Savage with a back body drop onto the tacks, Tremont goes for a top rope senton and he lands on the tacks as Savage gets out of the way. Savage gets up and he nails Tremont with a drop kick before falling back onto the tacks, Savage picks up Tremont and he puts him through a door. Savage goes to the top rope and he lands a senton for a near fall on Tremont, Savage charges at Tremont and Tremont avoids him before sending him through another door. Tremont then hits Savage with a top rope splash for a three count.
Winner: Matt Tremont
- A video package airs featuring Priscilla Kelly talking about Atticus Cogar, Kelly says Cogar is obsessed with being worshipped and is terrified to be forgotten. Kelly says she will beat Cogar for the GCW World Championship and ruin his career, Kelly says she will enjoy ending the myth of Cogar. Kelly then lights a picture of Cogar on fire as the video ends.
JCW Jersey J-Cup Qualifier - Samuray Del Sol vs. Vengador
The match begins with Del Sol shoving Vengador into the ropes, Vengador also does the same to Del Sol. Vengador catches a leaping Del Sol and Del Sol gets free before avoiding a penalty kick, Vengador trips up Del Sol before Del Sol gets up and exchanges some pin attempts for some near falls. Del Sol and Vengador have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Del Sol drops Vengador with a head scissors takedown to end the exchange. Vengador recovers and he trades rana attempts with Del Sol, Del Sol then knocks Vengador out of the ring with a drop kick before landing a suicide dive. Del Sol follows up by sending Vengador into the ring post and landing some strikes, Del Sol gets Vengador back into the ring before going to the top rope. Del Sol misses a double stomp and Vengador manages to land a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Vengador gets Del Sol back out of the ring before landing strikes of his own, Vengador gets Del Sol back in the ring before catching him in a modified Rings Of Saturn.
Vengador releases the hold before landing shots on the injured arm of Del Sol, Del Sol fights back and he knocks Vengador out of the ring. Vengador avoids a dive attempt from Del Sol before catching him and getting him on the ring apron, Del Sol lands a head kick followed by an ace crusher on the hardest part of the ring. Del Sol goes to the top rope and he nails Vengador with a high cross body for a near fall, Vengador fights back and Del Sol spikes him with a short rana for a near fall. Vengador fights back and he nails Del Sol with a crescent kick to the head followed by a roundhouse kick, Del Sol misses a charge into the corner and he still manages to drop Vengador with a head scissors takedown followed by a satellite DDT for a near fall. Del Sol gets Vengador on the top rope and he follows him up there while landing strikes, Vengador knocks Del Sol off the ropes and Del Sol still hits him with an up kick. Del Sol returns to the ropes and he takes him down with a super victory roll for a near fall, Vengador catches a leaping Del Sol before landing a sit out power bomb for a near fall.
Del Sol then hits Vengador with a sliced bread from out of nowhere for another near fall, Del Sol then hits Vengador with a rana for a near fall. Del Sol goes for sliced bread again and Vengador counters with a TKO followed by a piledriver for a three count.

Effy vs. Gringo Loco
The match begins with Loco taking Effy down with a headlock and Effy gets free before doing the same to him, Effy and Loco have a dance off before exchanging strikes. Loco catches Effy in a roll up for a near fall, Effy nails Loco with some chops followed by a rope assisted arm drag. Loco leaves the ring and Effy nails him with a suicide dive, Effy grabs some weapons and he sends them into the ring. Effy grabs a steel chair and he attacks Loco with it, Effy follows up by sending Loco face first into his dick. Effy sits Loco on a chair before eating a super kick after running around the ring, Loco sits Effy on the chair before eating a bicycle kick after running around the ring. Effy sits Loco on the chair again before going to the ring apron, Loco gets up and he throws a chair at Effy. Loco gets Effy on his shoulders before power bombing him on the corner of the hardest part of the ring, Loco finds some weapons and he gets them in the ring.
Loco grabs a can of beer and he smashes it into the face of Effy, Loco gets Effy back into the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt. Loco gets Effy into a seated position before landing multiple kicks to his back, Effy fights back and he drops Loco with a clothesline. Effy grabs some chairs and he sets them up in the center of the ring, Effy grabs another chair and he attacks Loco with it. Loco gets Effy to the ring apron before landing a knee strike, Loco goes to the top rope and he nails a hanging Effy with a guillotine leg drop. Effy recovers and he suplexes Loco onto a bunch of chairs for a near fall, Effy finds a door and he sets it up on some chairs. Effy traps Loco in the corner while landing a bunch of strikes, Effy then goes to the middle rope and Loco meets him on the ropes. Effy and Loco exchange strikes while on the ropes, Loco then hits Effy with a Spanish fly through the door for a near fall.
Effy and Loco get up before getting into another striking exchange, Effy cracks Loco with a piece of a broken door and Loco does the same to him. Effy then hits Loco with a TKO for a near fall, Effy leaves the ring and he returns with another door. Effy then sets the door up on some chairs, Loco gets up and he nails Effy with a side Russian leg sweep onto a chair. Loco then climbs the ropes after placing Effy on the door, Effy gets free and he meets Loco on the ropes. Effy nails Loco with a super rana through the door, Effy goes for a Sack Ryder and Loco counters with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Loco goes back to the top rope and he lands on his feet during a moonsault attempt, Effy then hits Loco with a spear followed by a Sack Ryder for a near fall. Effy then hits Loco with a second Sack Ryder, Effy climbs the ropes and Loco slaps him in the ass. Loco grabs a steel chair and he cracks Effy in the ass with it, Loco then hits Effy with an avalanche Base Bomb for a three count.

Jordan Oliver vs. Oro
The match begins with Oliver backing Oro into the corner before letting him go free, Oliver again backs Oro into the corner before letting him go free again. Oliver looks for a drop toe hold and he finally drops Oro with it, Oliver then holds Oro in a headlock. Oro gets free and he exchanges strikes with Oliver, Oro leaps into the air and Oliver catches him with a leaping back elbow strike. Oliver traps Oro in the ropes while exchanging more strikes, Oro recovers and he nails Oliver with a head kick followed by a lariat. Oro gets Oliver into the corner before dropping him and kicking him in the back, Oro follows up by hitting Oliver with an exploder suplex. Oro then sends Oliver into the corner before eating some strikes, Oro recovers and he hits Oliver with a backside driver for a near fall. Oro keeps Oliver grounded while applying a chin lock to him, Oliver eventually gets free and he hits Oro with a back body drop.
Oliver then hits Oro with a tiger suplex for a near fall, Oliver misses a charge in the corner and he still rolls up Oro before landing a super kick. Oro looks for a clothesline and Oliver counters with a Spanish fly for a near fall, Oliver sets up for the Acid Bomb and Oro fights back by landing strikes. Oliver goes for the Acid Bomb again and Oro counters with an exploder suplex into the corner, Oro then hits Oliver with a leg trap suplex for a near fall. Oro charges at Oliver and he cracks him with knee strikes, Oliver fights back and he hits Oro with an Acid Kick followed by a basement drop kick. Oliver and Oro go to the ring apron while exchanging strikes, Oliver eventually drops Oro with a side slam onto the hardest part of the ring. Oliver goes to the top rope and Oro knocks him to the arena floor before landing a suicide dive, Oro gets Oliver back in the ring before going to the top rope. Oliver recovers and he hits Oro with a super falcon arrow for a near fall, Oro blocks a double knee strike from Oliver before landing a head kick followed by a lariat.
Oro then hits Oliver with a spinning heel kick for a near fall, Oro gets Oliver seated on the top turnbuckle before looking for an Acid Bomb. Oliver goes for a high cross body and Oro rolls through for a near fall, Oliver then hits Oro with multiple knee strikes and an Acid Bomb for a three count.

GCW World Championship - Atticus Cogar (c) vs. Priscilla Kelly
The match begins with Cogar nailing Kelly with a big boot before choking her, Cogar traps Kelly in the ropes while stomping away on her. Cogar misses a skewer opportunity and Kelly nails him with multiple drop kicks, Cogar falls out of the ring and Kelly nails him with a dive from the ring apron. Kelly gets Cogar back in the ring and she also throws weapons into the ring, Kelly’s knee gives out as Cogar attacks her and Cogar follows up by landing chair shots to the injured knee, Cogar gets Kelly seated on the top turnbuckle before biting her. Kelly knocks Cogar off the ropes and he shoves her to the arena floor, Cogar grabs a chair and he drops it onto a downed Kelly. Cogar leaves the ring and he sends Kelly into the ring post, Cogar then slides a chair into the injured knee of Kelly. Cogar eventually gets Kelly back into the ring before landing a half dragon suplex for a near fall, Kelly fights back and Cogar lands an exploder suplex.
Cogar grabs another chair and he drops it onto a downed Kelly, Cogar then hits Kelly with a half Nelson suplex onto a chair for a near fall. Kelly fights back and she drops Cogar face first onto a steel chair, Kelly also cracks Cogar with some strikes before landing a back stabber. Kelly then hits Cogar with a short arm clothesline followed by a slam for a near fall, Kelly follows up by landing multiple head kicks on Cogar. Kelly finds a chair and she drop kicks it onto the head of Cogar. Kelly leaves the ring and she sets up a door onto some chairs, Kelly and Cogar then do battle on the ring apron. Cogar then hits Kelly with an air raid crash through the door on the arena floor, Cogar gets Kelly back in the ring before getting a near fall on a pin attempt. Cogar grabs another door and he drops it onto a downed Kelly, Cogar takes off his arm sleeve and he chokes Kelly with it. Kelly gets free and she nails Cogar with multiple release German suplexes, Kelly then hits Cogar with a knee strike for a near fall.
Kelly grabs some skewers and she tries stabbing Cogar with them and he blocks it, Cogar then hits Kelly with air raid crashes onto chairs and a door for a near fall. Cogar grabs skewers and he stabs Kelly in the head with them, Cogar then hits Kelly with the Brain Hemorrhage for a three count.
Winner: Atticus Cogar, still your GCW World Champion
After the match, Atticus Cogar gives Allie Katch a warning about facing him for the world title. Cogar then says Katch can face him for the title when GCW returns to Los Angeles.
