BRG, who recently finished a MLW run, did a good job jawing with fans from the ring.

They locked up with Joseph controlling his arm before they went back and forth with reversals.  Joseph escaped a head scissors and hit a back suplex.  A nice intensity with a series of near falls and reversals.  Joseph hit a nice shotgun dropkick off the ropes.  BRG went under the ring and went Joseph looked for him, BRG emerged from the other side and hit a hard sliding kick to the outside.  The crowd was getting all over BRG.    He came off the top with a flying axehandle.

Your winner, BRG!

These two had good chemistry.

Backstage, Andy Brown and VSK were interviewed about their main event.  VSK ranted that he was going to be the main character in Gotham and would outlast Brown.    Brown said he was the man here and they started shoving each other.

Jey Mesias vs. Nicholas Dos Santos.

Dos Santos came out in a karate gi.  He took over Mesias and went right to a cross armbreaker.    They locked up and exchanged side headlocks and tried to take the other down.   Dos Santos nailed a series of armdrags.  Mesias took his time and returned to the ring.  Dos Santos nailed an overhead throw and they battled near the ropes.    Mesias ran him into the corner, hurting Dos Santos' shoulder.  He capitalized, driving him into the buckles, then choked him against the ropes.

Mesias continued to wear him down, drilling Dos Santos with kicks to the back.   Mesias nailed a big suplex for a two count.  Dos Santos started to fire back with right hands and a big hiptoss.  He nailed a crane kick and scored the pin.  Miyagi-Do baby!

Your winner, Nicholas Dos Santos!

Fun match.  Dos Santos has a ton of potential and Mesias did a good job playing heel here.

UWN Tag Team Champions 5150 came out to cut a promo.  They complained they were supposed to come home to NYC but instead are wrestling in front of Upstate idiots from lower Albany.  They complained you can't get a good slice of pizza or good Chinese Food.  They said they wouldn't even be able to find good opponents here.  They said there was no one here who could step up to them.

Out came Ray Jaz.  He said they couldn't handle NYC so they moved to Los Angeles.  He said they weren't 5150 but 6/7, which got a pop.  Jaz said he'll find someone to slap the taste out of their mouth and send them back to the West Coast empty handed.  He said they'll find out who his partner will be.  5150 said if he does, they can have a title match.

They aired a sit-down interview with Andy Brown talking his background and how winning the UWN Heritage Title was his biggest moment in the ring so far.

Samira interviewed UWN Women's Champion Big Mama.  Next week, she will face Marti Belle.

VSK vs. Andy Brown

VSK was the heel here and took some good bumps.  The crowd was super into Brown.  They battled to the floor, where VSK was chopped hard on the floor.    Brown controlled the action on the floor as VSK took lots of punishment.  Brown broke the referee's count and went for a over the shoulder slam, but VSK slipped behind him and shoved him into the post.  They battled back to the ring, wherre VSK dropkicked Brown's legs out from under him while he was standing on the apron.

VSK took control as the crowd chanted for Andy.  VSK looked good, putting together a series of offensive maneuvers while also crapping on the crowd.  He rained down with a series of right hands.  He nailed a leaping forearm smash to the back off the ropes and drilled Brown with lots of punches.  Brown started to mount a comeback.  VSK went for a lungblower but was caught and slammed.  Brown nailed a discus punch and a spinebuster.  He drilled VSK and scored a two count.

VSK rolled up Brown and hooked the tights but Brown still kicked up.  Brown nailed a gourd buster for a two count.   The crowd chanted, "This is awesome."  Brown went for a move with VSK on his shoulders but VSK pulled the turnbuckle off.  As the referee fixed it, he nailed a superkick and hit a splash off the ropes for the pin.

Your winner, VSK!

They had a good match.  The screwy finish was OK.

That's all for this week.
