Been a wrestling for three decades, been to various shows including WrestleManias. Saw TNA’s premiere and to be honest have not really watched TNA in awhile. However, their production (introduction and TV presentation) far exceeded what AEW puts out. I could follow along as if I had been a regular viewer. Even their crowd shots were better than AEW. Has AEW lost the war?

First off, there’s no way I can, in good conscience, say that AEW has lost the war.  We don’t even know what kind of audience the TNA episode drew yet.  And with Tony Khan’s war chest, he isn’t leaving the battlefield any time soon.  With that said, it’s a great thing for the business and the fans that TNA has a good outlet now.  I am happy for them.  With that said, I personally prefer the TNA product, which I will comment on below.

I don't watch AEW and that Darby Allin clip you posted is the exact reason why.  I get that wrestlers can be crazy, it's a job requirement, but how does Tony Khan sleep at night allowing people to recklessly hurt themselves like that?

Honestly, I don’t know how he sleeps well either.  One of the main jobs of the owner is to do all that he can to protect the talent (often from themselves).  There is no world that Allin should have ever been allowed to that spot and yet, he was.  It’s not an isolated incident either.  I have no idea how Tony can’t see how wrong it is to let people take such unnecessary risks.

What kind of person wants to watch spots like that, people who like to watch dogfights?

I honestly don’t know what makes something like that appeal to people, I really have no clue.  I saw it and winced and then turn off the show.  It’s revolting to me.

Was Edge being shady by leading WWE to believe he was retiring to get his desired sendoff, knowing he was going to AEW?

Shady?  I can’t say that.  Duplicitous?  Maybe.  But with that said, WWE knew there was a very good chance that Adam Copeland would jump to AEW and yet they still chose to give him the great send off that they did.  It was very classy on their part.
