1/17 AEW COLLISION MAXIMUM CARNAGE COVERAGE

By Cory Strode on 2026-01-17 22:07:00

AEW Collision Maximum Carnage was recorded after Dynamite on Wednesday at the Arizona Financial Theater in Phoenix, AZ. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.

Andrade El Idolo vs. Angelico w/ Serpentico

Andrade gets to show off his move set on Angelico to show us what he does in the ring. He does the old “pull the man up after a two count to beat on him some more” that doesn’t happen much. He finally pins Angelico after the “DM,” which is a pedigree where he makes the opponent spin on the way down.

Winner: Andrade El Idolo

Lexi Nair is outside the dressing room of the Rascalz, and their locker room is full of smoke. Zachary Wentz, Myron Reed, and Dezmond Xavier say they are the best faction in wrestling, so they are here for tag team, trios, and individual matches, and they will smoke ’em all.

He is mad the fans boost the ego of Davis and Doyle, and after one match, they get a match with the greatest tag team of all time. He then puts himself over to end the segment.
