CHELSEA GREEN TALKS WWE UNREAL, AUDITIONING FOR ACTING ROLES WHEN WELL KNOWN AS WWE PERSONALITY & MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2026-01-13 14:13:00

SiriusXM issued the following:

Chelsea Green recently spoke with hosts Danny Murphy and Evan Real on SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio. , promoting, “WWE: Unreal.”

During the interview, Chelsea says that she’s pushing for a spin-off of WWE’s Netflix series, Unreal, inspired by the drama inside the women’s locker room. She also states that she does everything she can to separate herself from her in-ring persona when auditioning for acting roles.

WWE Superstar Chelsea Green Wants a WWE Unreal Focused on the Women’s Locker Room

Chelsea Green: If we had an unreal that was just the girls' locker room, which I would absolutely love. Let's put it into the universe. It would be interesting because I think 99.9% of us really get along. And we don't just get along. Like we really like to travel together. We like to have our martinis together. We support each other when someone wins a title. You know, we're excited for each other, but like, it's still work. It's still a locker room. There are still so many different personalities. So it would be interesting to see who actually doesn't like me.

Danny Murphy: And also I think things too were like, if they like you, but they're so stressed at work 'cause it's a stress, like a pressure cooker and like either something really good happened for them or something bad happened. What would just inherently come out of their mouth.

Chelsea Green: Well, this past Friday I got my kicked by Julia. She took the title off me and she near, you know, um, took my, my weave right outta my head. She almost snatched me bald. And I am sure I said some things in that moment.

Evan Real: Right. You just don't remember them.

Chelsea Green: Like, I'm sure my mouth was going faster than my brain, so it'd be interesting if they caught those moments, you know what I mean?

Chelsea Green Opens Up About the Struggles of Auditioning for Acting Roles as a WWE Superstar

Evan Real: Do you find that you have to work hard to separate yourself from your WWE persona? Do they, do they care about that? Do they consider that? Are you trying to like, be like, “That girl? That's not me. Like I'm a different girl.”

Chelsea Green: So it's funny because my name is Chelsea Green. My real name is Chelsea Green. My wrestling name is Chelsea Green.

Evan Real: Oh. And that's like, not typically the case.

Chelsea Green: That's not typical at all. So it's good and it's bad because I can't separate myself. If they look me up, which they're gonna look anyone up who they have like a callback especially. Or if my agent pitches me because they think it's a good idea. Oh, she has so many followers because that's a thing now. Hollywood wants people with followers, but then they don't want wrestlers. So it's like a very weird vibe where I use it to my advantage, but if I'm feeling like it's not to my advantage, I will shut it down and that's why I took off all my nails. I don't have fake eyelashes. I don't have fake hair. Like I don't have all the things when I go to those auditions. I look like Joe Schmo. Like the next girl because I would rather that than what you see on my Instagram, which is glam times a thousand.

Evan Real: And I love to see it.

Chelsea Green: That's the thing. And now you know I can do that. And when I show up to a red carpet, I will be that way.

Evan Real: She's got levels.

Danny Murphy: That’s so true. But to show that you, they can picture you in any type of role or situation.

Chelsea Green: Yeah. You know, a lot of wrestlers, they don't look like normal humans. They look incredible. Like, they look like they belong on a stage.

Evan Real: Like action figures.

Chelsea Green: Yeah. But that's not what actors look like, right? Actors look real beautiful. Skinny, right, but very real.
