Wrestling Open

12/18/25 Worcester, MA

Spotlight Match: 23 Hazard vs Erik Chacha

23 Hazard is here once again to catch a body. He actually does it this time, with a reverse ddt to Chacha for the three. He’s really like this? A winner?

Match 1: DJ Powers vs Handyman Jake Gray

DJ is big mad that he’s the number one contender and he’s fighting Jake Gray. Gray puts up a good fight but Powers drops him and hits a frog splash for the win. After Jan 1, it doesn’t matter if it’s Bobby Orlando or Eye Black Jack holding the belt…Powers refuses to be denied.

Match 2: TJ Crawford vs Flyin’ Ryan O’Neill

Ryan with a hot start, superkicking TJ out of the ring and flying right at him. TJ catches a kick “Are you serious?!?” Before he clocks this kid in the face. These two war back and forth, trading big kicks and hard forearms. TJ finally uncorks the kill shot of a superplex, a powerbomb and a buzzsaw kick that puts Ryan down. Crawford picks the kid up and gives him some the respect. The crowd agrees. It was a hell of a show. Please come back.

Match 3: The Residency (RJ Rude & Rex Lawless) vs Mythical Ones (Ichiban & Brando Lee)

Ichiban & Brando have their way with RJ early but Rex interjects and of course the tide turns. Brando looks to escape but RJ superkicks Ichiban off the apron. Rude starts yapping on the mic and Lee makes his escape to Ichi! Rex tries to intercept again but he’s cut off, double plexed to the outside and the Ichi Bankai puts Rude away. This was a lot of fun.

Match 4: Devious Cass vs Pedro Dones

Cass finally does something DEVIOUS and attacks Pedro with a big boot before the bell. Baby steps! Dones with some good spots but this match is mostly Cass, staying  on the attack and dragging Dones. Pedro looking punch drunk as Cass is easily dodging weak punches and calling Dones an old man. Pedro rallies up from a sleeper and hits a Samoan drop! Running headbutt connects! Dones puts a cherry on it by getting some extra speed and another running headbutt puts Cass to sleep.

Here is 23 Hazard. Apparently finally winning on the spotlight match means he thinks he can come on the main show. Hazard says he’s calling his shot on Pedro for Jan 1. He plans to catch a body. Dones says he’s calling accepts but he’s not bringing Team Handsome. He’s bringing back the Shot Caller!

Match 5: Giorgio Lawrence vs Sammy Diaz (w/ Mani Ariez)

Sammy and Giorgio have a good hard hitting match. Surprisingly, DJ Powers isn’t out here to provide balance to the match. Sammy finally drop Lawrence to the mat and a high Frogsplash gets the three! Just a  solidly good match.

Match 6: Ricky Smokes vs Mike Cunningham

Mike is a cowboy. We don’t hate him. I forget if he’s a WWE ID but if he isn’t, this certainly feels like a bit of a testing match for that spot. It’s a really good showing for Cunningham but Smokes is more than happy to steal the pin with hand on the ropes and Cunningham’s stolen hate on his head for the three.

Match 7: Stetson Ranch (Danny Miles & Bobby Casale) vs Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister & Love Doug)

Big Business is looking towards those Wrestling Open Tag Team Championships and I guess that Ranch ain’t doing it by Freebird Rules…so Bacon and Doug get to fight the two NON-Champ members of the ranch. It starts well but Doug quickly gets isolated and beaten on by the ranch hands. Bacon is the equalizer, getting the tag and landing the big offense. Casale escapes the the tornado jackhammer…he yeets Danny into Bacon! Brad with a German toss and tags to Doug! Casale stuns Doug with a head kick but Bacon slides in to make the save. A Rebound variation on Business is Booming puts Casale down for the three!!!

Bacon on the mic. He has news. Jan 1st? Big Business is coming for the gold!

Eye Black Jack is out here to hype his title match with Bobby Orlando on Jan 1st. Bobby said he didn’t think EBJ had what it takes to be champ. Jack is here to retort. He has massive respect for Bobby. Bobby has been here since day 1. Jack was BORN here. He feels unstoppable and he is READY.

Main Event: Dustin Waller vs Alec Price

Waller has been claiming the Wrestling Open is the house that he and Kylon built. Alec Price absolutely disagrees. A very hot start as Price nearly hits the Suprize Kick but they end up in an alpha dog staredown. And really, that’s the story here: Two guys absolutely going for it and not giving an inch, both claiming that the White Eagle is THEIR house. Ref Scott is having a hard time keeping their aggression reigned in. But Dustin may have a point: Alec HASN’T been here and he takes pleasure reminding him of that as he drops bombs into Price’s skull. Price finally reverses the finale of a three amigos. Price popped up and a dropkick meets Dustin’s head! Apron ddt! Waller with the armbreaker slam and a lethal injection! Price kicks out! Price picks up speed and Waller is a whole buckle behind. Price shoves off a Spanish fly! Emergency Leg Drop! Surprise kick! Dustin kicks out! Price is trying to snap Waller out of this delusion he’s under. Waller happily goes to war. Flip ddt sends Waller to the floor! Price with a long range missile dive! A rope walk slingshot ddt puts Dusty down and Price gets the three! That was a damn fight!

Price on the mic. He’s calling a shot for January 1st. Wrestling Open is going back to its roots. Price is calling out another building block of the original Open crew: TYREE TAYLOR! That’s gonna be a WAR!
