CENA’S GOODBYE, CALLING WHAT YOU SEE, IF CHRIS JERICHO RETURNS TO WWE AND MORE

If Chris Jericho does return to WWE, do you think he should revert to using "Break the Walls Down" as his theme song, or, after seeing how Cody negotiated using "Kingdom" as part of his WWE deal and how the song got taken to entirely new heights in WWE, do you think Jericho should do the same and use "Judas" as his WWE theme?

If Jericho comes back, first and foremost I want him to be a part timer and not pushed ridiculously hard like he was in AEW.  He’s older now and WWE has a ton of younger people who deserve TV Time more than he does.  If he does come back, I would have him use his WWE music.  That’s what he is known for with WWE fans.

What did you think of John Cena's explanation for the finish of his last match?

It did not resonate with me.  I get what he is saying and all, but if that was the story he was telling he should have conveyed it with the announce team so that they could sell what he was doing.  I understand that some fans got what he was doing, but many people didn’t, including me.  I have always been someone that hated movies where the viewer had to draw their own conclusion and that is what this felt like to me.

Do you think that WWE regrets signing R-Truth to that new contract since they have not really used him since then?

I would guess that they don’t.  He doesn’t cost them all that much and it was a good PR and locker room move to bring him back.

Just read your report about the unplanned title change on NXT, and then watched it on Netflix.  It was a really awkward moment.  I understand the referee counting to three, and it was the right call.  But the rest of the crew seemed to be caught off guard.  The time keeper didn't ring the bell despite the referee calling for it.  The ring announcer didn't make an announcement.  And they played the wrong music.  Isn't this avoidable?  I mean, if the referee is expected to call the match as they see it, shouldn't the rest of the crew be ready for any outcome?  In my opinion, the time keeper should be ready to ring the bell at any time, and the sound booth should have both wrestler's music cued up.  Despite being an unplanned finish, do you think everyone should be more prepared for all scenarios?

I agree 100 percent.  If the ref is calling what he/she sees, everyone else should be doing the same thing.
