Tony Schiavone is in the ring for the AEW World Title signing with Hangman Adam Page, Swerve Strickland and World Champion Samoa Joe. Swerve has Price Nana with him, Joe had Hook and Powerhouse Hobbs with him. If anyone gets physical, they are not allowed to be in the match.

Hook bad mouths Tony and then says he brought backup because it can be volatile with Swerve and Page. He signs the contract and says he hopes the others make it to World’s End in one piece.

Swerve says he came back to AEW for the world title and he knows that between him and Page, they have mutual respect for each other and mutual hate for Joe. He says the last time he signed a contract with Joe, Joe beat him down but he took Joe’s title from him and he will do it again. He then cuts a promo putting himself over.

Page is the last one to sign, and he says in July, they worked together to get the title of Moxley. He says, in the end, it was him who took the title from Moxley. He says he gave Joe an opportunity to face him for the title and when he failed, he turned to others to help him steal. He says Joe is worse than the Death Riders on their worst day. He cuts down Joe and they end up staring at each other.

Joe then heels the town.

Page goes over everyone he was going to give a title shot to before Joe stole the title from him. When he gets to Swerve, he says if Swerve had beaten him, he would have accepted it. Page says he can’t guarantee who will be champion after World's End, but it won’t be Joe.

And the lights go out.

We then hear MJF’s music and the lights come back on. MJF strides to the ring. MJF cashes in his world title shot and it is now a four way match. MJF grabs a mic and says that Page has always called him a coward and while he was filming a movie, because he’s a star, and maybe Page is right. So the best way to hurt Page is to take the title, beating him and his two rivals in one fell swoop.

Joe starts to talk and MJF gets in his face and tells him to shut up. MJF mocks Joe and says he isn’t afraid of him but he still hates him. He says Joe halted his journey to go down as an all-time great, but Sloppy Joe’s luck has run out. Joe is great here, reacting to MJF.

Swerve says MJF needs to be afraid of him. MJF mocks him and says Swerve reminds him of P. Diddy. He says he knows Swerve as Shane. MJF went to AEW and became their biggest star, and Swerve went to WWE and didn’t do great there, but he loved watching Swerve twerk for Top Dolla. He says Swerve held the title for 126 days, but MJF held it for 406, but hey, who’s counting.

MJF says they now have a problem because Swerve is in MJF’s day. He says this is MJF’s house, the rent is due, and the Devil has come to collect.

Solid return for MJF.
