1 - NJPW World Television Championship Match: El Phantasmo vs. Hartley Jackson
ELP hits a CR2 and a Thunderkiss 86 to get the pin.
El Phantasmo retains the NJPW World Television Championship.
2 - Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Boltin Oleg Tatsuya Matsumoto and Katsuya Murashima vs. Masatora Yasuda Taichi, Satoshi Kojima, Lance Archer and Alex Zayne
Kojima pins Matsumoto after hitting a lariat.
3 - El Desperado, Shuji Ishikawa and Shoma Kato vs. SHO, Don Fale or Yoshinobu Kanemaru
Fale hits a Hand Grenade on Kato. SHO pins Kato.
4 - Shingo Takagi, Drilla Moloney and Taiji Ishimori vs. Yujiro Takahashi, Chase Owens and DOUKI
War Dragons hit a Double Made in Japan on Owens and Takagi gets the pin.
5 - Hiroshi Tanahashi, Shota Umino and Yuya Uemura vs. Yuto-Ice, OSKAR and Daiki Nagai
Tanahashi hits a High Fly Flow on Nagai and gets the pin.
Tanahashi thanks the fans in Kumamoto and spends time greeting everyone at ringside.
New Japan is giving the younger talent the rub for teaming with Tanahashi. This night it was Uemura and Umino. Dave Scherer and Mike Johnson have spoken of the fans who will stop watching WWE after John Cena is gone. This is my fear in Japan, that fans will lose interest in buying tickets or in New Japan as a whole, once they see Tanahashi and Okada one last time at Wrestle Kingdom.
6 - David Finlay and Hiromu Takahashi vs. Great O-Khan and Callum Newman
Finlay and Hiromu attack United Empire before the bell. They fight into the crowd, then into the ring. Finlay about to powerbomb O-Khan but Newman threw a chair into Finlay's face.
United Empire is disqualified.
Newman throws Finlay headfirst into the steel ring post. Newman hits Hiromu with the GHC Title belt and hits Excalibur on Hiromu. Newman drags Gedo in the ring and kicks him in the head, then puts a chair on his face. Newman was about to stomp Gedo, but a bloody Finlay makes the save. Finlay catches Jakob Austin Young and hits Overkill on him. Moloney, Takagi and Nagai come to the ring to help.
Finlay takes the mic and says the Savage King is reborn. He makes a challenge to United Empire to face the War Dogs at Wrestle Kingdom.
This makes no sense visually. War Dogs and The Unaffiliated have the clear numbers advantage. United Empire at this moment has only 3 members (unless HENARE returns from injury or Francesco Akira or Templario joins). This just seems like a last minute idea to get all these wrestlers on the Wrestle Kingdom in a pointless violent match.
7 - NEVER Openweight 6-man Tag Team Championship: Toru Yano, Master Wato and YOH vs. SANADA, Ren Narita and EVIL
House of Torture attacked the champions and took out the referee. Kanemaru comes to the ring and counts the pin. House of Torture grab the NEVER belts and act like they won the titles in less than 5 minutes. As they leave, Aaron Wolfe comes to the ring and House of Torture goes back to the ring. The original referee continues the match. YOH low blows SANADA and rolls him up in a cradle.
YOH pins SANADA.
Toru Yano, YOH and Master Wato retain the NEVER Openweight 6-man Titles.
After the match, EVIL and Aaron Wolfe had a big brawl. Lots of security and young lions came out to break them up. It was a wild scene.
Aaron Wolfe better be the real deal because they are taking a gamble putting the top heel in the company against him in Wolfe's debut match on the biggest stage in Japan.
8 - World Tag League Finals: Gabe Kidd and Yota Tsuji vs. Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa
Good match. Both team matched each other move for move. Kidd hits a superplex on Oiwa. Oiwa avoids a double knee and hit an Olympic Slam on Tsuji. ZSJ tries for submissions on Tsuji but Tsuji hits a Flatliner. Kidd tags in and trades shots with ZSJ. Both teams trade nearfalls. ZSJ and Oiwa try their submissions. Tsuji hits a running knee and a Marlowe Crash on ZSJ. ZSJ reverses a Gene Blaster into a Zack Driver. Kidd and Oiwa trades shots. Kidd shows to the New Japan camera that he has a missing tooth that Oiwa knocked out. Oiwa hits a Doctor Bomb. Two count. Kidd and Tsuji hit a War Blaster on Oiwa. They hit a double knee on ZSJ. Kidd hits a Piledriver on Oiwa. Oiwa kicks out. Oiwa trade shots. Oiwa hits The Grip.
Oiwa pins Kidd.
Zack Sabre Jr. and Ryohei Oiwa win World Tag League 2025 and will receive a title shot for the IWGP Tag Team Championship.
There was no appearance by Yuto-Ice or OSKAR.
Stay turned to the Road to Wrestle Kingdom on December 22 on New Japan World. This will be the last show televised on NJ World before Wrestle Kingdom.
