In regard to some fan concern about material posted on his Instagram, former WWE and TNA production head David Sahadi is very much alive, PWInsider can confirm. We are told Sahadi was putting up test material for a potential book that would feature comments that someone should have made about someone before they pass away. A few readers took it to mean Sahadi had passed. He has not and is in fact now directing the Real American Freestyle broadcasts.
Memphis Wrestling legend Austin Idol has departed the NWA and has announced his plans to exit professional wrestling. He is closing down his school, selling off his wrestling ring and is also selling ring gear and memorabilia from his career via his website. We reached out to the NWA about Idol's exit but did not hear back.
Mark Henry will be appearing at the 1/24/26 AML event in Winston-Salem, NC, headlined by a 2 ring, steel cage Acts of War Games match.
The Capital City Museum in Frankfort, Kentucky is still running their exhibit dedicated to the late Miss Elizabeth, who famously managed Randy Savage (and married him) during her WWF run and later managed Ric Flair and Lex Luger, among others in WCW. She passed away in May 2003 at the age of 42 and was originally from Frankfort. The Capital City Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are accepted.
