NIC NEMETH, JAZZ, RODNEY MACK TO BE HONORED BY THESZ/TRAGOS PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING HALL OF FAME

The Thesz/Tragos Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame announced the following honorees for this summer:

HALL OF FAME INDUCTЕЕ DOLPH ZIGGLER

Nick Nemeth, also known as Dolph Ziggler, is the 2026 Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame inductee. Nemeth was an accomplished amateur wrestler at St. Edward's High School, where he set the record for most career pins (82) and lead his team to two state championships, and at Kent State University, where he is in second place in school history for career victories with 121. Nemeth was a three-time Mid-America Conference Champion.

Nemeth signed with WWE in 2004, and competed for nearly two decades, where he became one of the company's most decorated stars, capturing the World Heavyweight Championship twice, as well as the Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, and Tag Team Championship. Nemeth has also built a career in stand-up comedy and appeared in film and television projects. After departing WWE in 2023, he continued his wrestling journey with TNA Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, and AAA, while balancing his pursuits in other areas of entertainment.

VERNE GAGNE TRAINER AWARD JAZZ AND RODNEY

The 2026 Verne Gagne Trainer honorees are former WWE stars Jazz and Rodney Mack owners of Dogg Pound Championship Wrestling. The husband-and-wife duo have transformed their passion for wrestling into a training school and promotion designed to shape the next generation of talent.

Located in San Antonio, Texas, the school is a training facility and live event venue, where students learn the fundamentals of wrestling under the guidance of Jazz, a two-time WWE Women's Champion, and Mack, known for his hard-hitting style in WWE. Trainees are given the opportunity to perform at DPCW shows and partner promotions such as Mission Pro Wrestling. Jazz and Rodney Mack's journey from WWE superstars to industry training leaders is a testament to resilience and passion. Through DPCW, they are not only preserving the traditions of wrestling but also shaping its future one performer at a time.
