On December 10, YOSHI-HASHI and Hirooki Goto (A Block winner) will face Ryohei Oiwa and Zack Sabre Jr. (B Block runner up).
On December 12, Yuto-Ice and OSKAR (B Block winner) will face Gabe Kidd and Yota Tsuji (A Block runner up).
The winners of these matches will face each other in the Finals on December 14.
The Knockout Brothers make the most sense to win it all and keep pushing them as a top team. They need the title at this point to keep building their credibility. The rest of the teams do not need the belts.
Looking ahead there are three more cards before Wrestle Kingdom 20 on January 4.
The matches already scheduled for Wrestle Kingdom 20 are:
1 - IWGP World and IWGP Global Heavyweight Double Championship Match: Konosuke Takeshita vs. Yota Tsuji
2 - Hiroshi Tanahashi's Retirement Match: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kazuchika Okada
3 - NEVER Openweight Championship: Aaron Wolf (debut) vs. EVIL
4 - IWGP Women's and STRONG WOMEN'S Double Championship Match: Syuri vs. Saya Kamitani
5 - Jr. Heavyweight Number One Contenders Match: El Desperado vs. Kosei Fujita vs. Taiji Ishimori and SHO
6 - NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship Match: Tornado Ranbo
In the final three events on New Japan World, I would expect the rest of the Wrestle Kingdom card to be filled out. The draw of this event is Tanahashi vs. Okada and Takeshita vs. Tsuji. I hope Tanahashi's match goes on last because the emotion of the Tokyo Dome crowd to watch Tanahashi vs. Okada one final time should be the focus and remembered.
