Does WWE have a clause in their Netflix deal that no other wrestling can be broadcast on there?
If they do I have not heard that it exists. Honestly, I don’t think WWE was in any position to make that demand of Netflix, as they are a much smaller company in comparison.
What happened to Sammy Guevara? Wasn't he one of the 4 pillars of AEW's future? I rarely see him on TV anymore. We are a long ways away from him getting screen time with Chris Jericho years ago.
He is mostly seen in ROH now. Yes, he was a “pillar” but that was then and this is now. I guess he is a pillar of ROH now.
Do you think it was a mistake to have the Cena-Dom IC title switch open the Raw in Boston? Why not end Raw with a super emotional high with Cena flossing with the IC title amongst pyrotechnics and crowd adulation - and becoming a grand slam champion instead?
I think either would have worked well. I can’t say it was a mistake to open with it as if started the show hot. But they could have ended hot as well, no doubt.
Does John Cena have a movie project scheduled for next April? I can’t think of any other reason why Cena would end his career and retirement tour on a random SNME in December vs. a huge last match sendoff and HOF induction at the biggest show of the year at WM42. What gives?
He wanted to end his run in a single year, which I understand. We knew it advance that the end of 2026 would be the end, period. I am fine with the call and honestly, it turns this weekend’s SNME into a must see show instead of just some random event.
