LIVE, ONGOING RING OF HONOR FINAL BATTLE 2025 COVERAGE

It’s time for Ring of Honor’s Final Battle 2025, held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.

Our commentary team is Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman.

The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd) vs The Premiere Athletes (Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese) w/Mark Sterling and Storm Denalli

Truth and Nese start off and Nese has to pose before they lock up. Nese forces them to the corner and then gets a back elbow and then backflips over Truth. They lock up again and Nese forces them to the corner again, but misses a chop. Truth gets a high hip toss and follows with a tejaris. Nese goes to the ropes so that Truth can’t attack and when Truth finally comes in to grab him, Nese kicks him and drags him to his corner where he and Davari beat him down. 

We quickly get all four men in the ring and the Outrunners get stereo back suplexes. The Outrunners double team Nese and get a two count. Truth goes to come off the ropes and Mark grabs his foot. As Truth is arguing, Nese dives onto him and stomps him down on the floor. Mark joins in as well. Truth is rolled into the ring and the Athletes work over Turbo with quick tags. 

Nese misses a springboard moonsault and Truth crawls to the corner for the tag. The Outrunners clean house until Nese knocks them into each other when they go for the double bicep drop. The Outrunners get a two-man slam and a two count, but Nese breaks up the plan. All four men brawl in the ring and Truth goes to the top, but Mark gets on the apron, When Truth chases him, Stori clotheslines him. 

Daivari goes to the top and hits the magic carpet ride for two on Turbo. Truth gets in the ring and drops Davari. They hit him with the double bicep drop and Total Recall for the pin and the win.

Winners: The Outrunners

Leila Grey w/Christopher Daniels vs Zayda Steel

They adhere to the Code of Honor and Steel goes for a quick rollup for two. They run the ropes and Steel gets the shoulder tackle. Grey gets a pair of arm drags and they run into each other during a kick. They trade clotheslines in the ropes and Steel gets a facebuster in the ropes for two. Steel runs Grey into the corner and works her over int he corner. 

Steel misses a running knee and Grey gets a swinging neckbreaker and follows with a sling blade for two. Steel fires forearms when she gets up and after blocking a hip tos, is clotheslined down by Grey. Grey is able to get a power slam for two. Steel grabs a single leg crab.  Grey battles back and scores the pin with Angel's Wings.

When the feed comes back, Lexy Nair is in the back with Mortos and Sammy Guevara and Sammy says that sometimes brothers fight, and they are doing it for the best cause of all. He then says they will prevail in their tag team match and in the championship match.

Lee Johnson vs Ace Austin

The adhere to the Code of Honor, lock up, and move to mat work after takedowns. They return to their feet and go back to mat work with Ace getting a quick rollup for two. They run the ropes and Ace gets a takedown and do a quick series of holds until Ace breaks the holds. 

Ace is able to trip Lee and rolls Lee up for two. Lee rolls to the floor for a break and Ace dodges trip attempts on the apron. Ace gives Lee a big kick and teases a few leaps. Ace finally goes to the floor and Lee pulls him into the ring steps face first. Lee gets into the ring and calls for the count. They brawl on the floor and Lee gets a moonsault off the barricade and hits a reverse DDT. He rolls Ace into the ring for two.

Ace gets a sunset flip and follows with a clothesline, he holds onto the wrist for a series of kicks and a leg drop. Ace whips Lee to the corner and gets a quick series of clotheslines. Lee goes for a crossbody and Ace turns it into a gut buster for two. Lee gets a Blue Thunder Bomb for two because that move never wins a match.

Lee gets a belly to back suplex and holds on for another. Lee tries for a half-and-half and Ace lands on his feet, Lee finally gets the half-and-half suplex and follows with a big boot in the corner. Ace avoids a power bomb and hits a spinning kick. Lee gets a pop-up power bomb for two. Lee goes to the top and tries a frog splash, but Ace gets his knees up. Ace dodges a kick and nails a springboard kick of his own. Ace hits The Fold for the pin and the win.

Winner: Ace Austin

Lexi is with Blake Christian, who says he will win the title tonight because last year's Final Battle is where he made his debut.

Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia vs Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake)

Jon Moxley joins commentary.

Yuta and Drake go hold for hold with a quick series of waistlocks and arm bars. Garcia is tagged in and he calls for Gibson, and they trade waistlocks and arm bars. Gibson escapes from an arm bar with a 3 Stooges eye poke and GYV decides now is the time to run wild and take out Yuta and Garcia. Garcia is rolled into the ring and Drake leaps to the apron and whips Yuta across the ring. Garcia pulls Drake by the arm into the ring post and then work him over with quick tags.

Drake gets a side drop on Yuta and crawls to his corner, but Garcia pulls Gibson off the apron and they go back to work on Drake. Drake gets a drop-kick off the second turnbuckle and crawls back to his corner. Gibson and Garcia are both tagged in and Gibson cleans house. Yuta tries to break it up and Gibson suplexes Yuta into Garcia in the corner. Gibson gets a brain buster on Garcia for two.

Gibson goes to the second rope and leaps over Garcia, but as Gibson is in the corner, Yuta d and Garcia hit forever clotheslines. Yuta leaps on Drake and then a big splash from the top and Garcia gets a scorpion death lock. Gibson crawls to the ropes for the break. Yuta and Garcia double team Gibson. Gibson fights out of the corner and gets a jawbreaker on Yuta before tagging in Drake. 

Drake grabs a side headlock and Gibson gets a drop-kick from the top into Yuta’s head for two. Gibson tags in and goes to the top and Garcia knocks him down to the floor. Garcia puts Drake’s head between the steps and the ringpost and kicks the steps. Garcia gets a chop block and Yuta follows with the psycho knee and Garcia covers for the pin and the win.

Winners: Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia

Deonna Purrazzo vs. Billie Starkz - Pure Women's Championship 

Mox has stayed on commentary.

Deonna grabs an arm bar take down and Billie goes for the rope break.

Billie now have Rope Break #1

Billie grabs a waistlock but Deonna gets a side headlock takedown. They run the ropes and Billie backs Deonna into the corner. Deonna grabs an arm bar and brings Billie down again. Billie escapes and goes to the floor for a break. Deonna joins her and Billie whips Deonna into the ring steps and then stomps her into the steps. Deonna is rolled back into the ring and Billie grabs an arm bar. Billie gets a German suplex for two.

Billie batters Deonna in the corner and whips her across the ring. Billie follows with a clothesline and a DDT for two. Billie gets a rear headlock and Deonna gets to her feet and judo throws Billie. Deonna clotheslines Billie down to the mat. Billie whips Deonna into the ringpost and then lays in forearms. Billie charges at Deonna, and Deonna dodges and Billie runs into the ringpost. Deonna gets an arm whip takedown. Deonna then gets a Russian leg sweep into the announce table.

Billie is rolled into the ring and when Deonna gets in the ring, Billie gets a rear kick. Deonna gets a pump kick and smashes Billie's face into the mat. They go back and forth until they are both on the mat, exhausted. They fight to their feet with strikes back and forth. Deonna gets a knee lift strike and a Russian leg sweep into an arm bar. Billie crawls to the tops for the break.

Billie has used her second rope break.

Billie gets a pair of kicks in the corner and then a neck breaker for two. They fight on the apron and Billie gets an Alabama slam on the apron and then a dive on Deonna on the floor. Deonna is rolled into the ring and Billie goes to the top. Billie hits a swanton for two. Billie grabs a rear chinlock and Deonna gets to the ropes for the break.

Deonna has used her first rope break ever in a pure match.

Deonna gets a German suplex and follows with a Gotch pile driver for two. Deonna gets the Venus DeMilo and guides Billie to the ropes for a break.

Billie has used her final rope break.

Deonna gets a butterfly stretch in the ropes and Billie breaks free by pulling Deonna into the ropes. Billie is able to turn a German suplex into a face slam. Deonna gets the Venus DeMilo in the middle of the ring and Billie has to tap out.

Winner and NEW Ring of Honor Women's Pure Wrestling Champion: Deonna Purrazzo. 

Queen Aminata joins Deonna on the stage, shakes her hand and tells her “I want next.”

Lee Moriarty vs. Nigel McGuinness - 30 Minute Iron Man Match

They follow the Code of Honor.

They lock up and go to the corner. They then dodge moves from each other and then each get a quick takedown. Nigel gets a snap mare and they trade wristlocks. Nigel tries for a ricochet clothesline from the ropes, but Lee walks away and they reset.

They trade wristlocks. Nigel gets a pair of takedowns. Lee works to his feet and grabs a cravat and holds on as Nigel is taken down. They fight to the ropes and break clean. They trade headlocks and then Nigel gets a shoulder tackle. They roll each other up and Lee grabs the Border City Stretch and Nigel taps out immediately.

Lee gets the first win

Lee goes to the floor for a break and talks with Shanne Taylor. Lee returns to the ring and they trade wristlocks and Nigel is able to get  a wristlock takedown. Lee goes to the ropes for a break. Lee picks the leg and Nigel grabs the ear and shoves Lee to the ropes for the break. Lee  gets an arm drag. Nigel works to his feet and they go back and forth with arm bars. Nigel forces Lee down and slams his arm into the mat. He pulls Lee up and stomps on the arm. Nigel si now working on the same arm he attacked in the moves before and then fires an uppercut. 

Nigel goes back to work on the arm and Lee is able to turn an arm bar into an abdominal stretch. Nigel is able to reverse it and Lee walks them to the ropes for the break, but Nigel holds for the four count. Lee pulls Nigel into the ropes and gets a tiger feint kick. Lee goes to the top and Nigel grabs him for the tower of London, but Lee shoves him away and goes to the floor.

Nigel follows him and drops him with a big chop. Nigel works over Lee on the floor. Nigle rolls Lee into the ring and Lee grabs an inside cradle for a three count.

Lee gets the second fall

Lee beats down Nigel in the corner with strikes and then stomps. Lee whips Nigel, htu Nigel stomps it for a hammerlock DDT. Nigel goes back to work on the arm. Lee tries a sunset flip,but Nigle blocks it and slams the arm into the mat. Nigel grabs an arm bar. Lee forces him down for two, but Bigel forces up and holds the arm. Lee does it again and when Nigel rolls up, Lee grabs an ankle lock. Nigle kicks his way free.

Nigel grabs London Dungeon and Lee gets a rope break. Nigel whips Lee down by the injured arm and then lays in a kick on it. Nigle wraps the arm around his leg and slams it into the mat. Nigel then gets a butterfly stretch and Lee rolls out of it. Nigel puts Lee on top and then hits a series of Mongolian thrusts. Nigel then joins Lee on top and Lee punches his way free. Nigel drops to the mat and Lee gets a high crossbody for two.

Nigel grabs London Dungeon and Lee gets to the ropes for the break. Nigel runs Lee into the corner and lays in blows. Lee reverses a whip and gets shoulder thrusts in the corner  and follows with a front facelock. Nigel breaks free and gets an uppercut. Lee tries for a springboard off the top and Nigel avoids it and shoves him back in the corner. Nigel and Lee trade chops in the corner. 

Nigel dodges a spear from Lee in the corner and then goes back to the London Dungeon and Lee has to tap out.

Nigel gets his first fall.

Lee is able to get a rollup for three.

Lee now has three falls.

Nigel whips Lee down again and then gets a rear heel trip. Nigel covers for one only. Nigel goes back to work on the arm. Lee works to his feet and they fire blows back and forth. Lee gets a series of blows in the corner, but Nigel gets a kick to Lee’s spine in the corner and Nigel covers for two. Nigel grabs an arm bar and stretches Lee across his legs, Lee reverses and Nigel gets a triangle choke. Lee gets a two count as Nigel holds the chocks. Nigel turns it into a crossface and Lee finally gets to the ropes. 

Nigel gets a hammerlock DDT and as he grabs an arm bar, Lee reverses it for two.  Lee stays on his back to keep Nigel away. Nigel finally picks the leg and snaps the hamstrings. Nigel gets the rebound lariat and covers for two. 

There are three minutes left and Lee is up 3 falls to 1.

Lee goes to the floor and keeps Sjane Taylor between him and Nigel. Lee grabs a choke on the floor and Nigel goes out. Lee returns to the ring and Nigel gets into the ring at 9. Nigel grabs a small package for three.

Nigel now has 2 falls.

Nigel gets a series of blows and they fight in the corner. They run into each other in the corner as we are under a minute. Lee Lee tries to grab Nigel, Nigel grabs a quick pin for three.

Nigel now has three falls.

Nigel grabs a quick rollup for three as Lee talks to Shane Taylor 

Nigel rolls out of the ring and Shane Taylor punches him and rolls him into the ring. Lee covers for three.

The time limit expires with four falls each and a time limit draw. 

Nigel walks to the back but Lee is not happy with the decision. Lee grabs a mix and says Nigel challenged him to see who is the best, and Nigel needs to get back in the ring to settle it once and for all.

The match is now Sudden Death.

They go face to face and Nigel nail Lee for two. Nigel gets a back slide for two. Nigle gets a sunset flip for two. They run the ropes and Lee picks the leg and they trade two counts back and forth. Nigel gets a Superman dive for two, and they go back and forth again and Lee finally gets the pin with a leg capture bridge for the pin and the win.

Winner: Lee Moriarty.

Holy cats what a FANTASTIC match. 

Nigel grabs his original Pure Title and says that title means more to him than anything else int he whole world. Nigel puts the belt on Lee’s shoulder and bows to him in the ring. Lee shakes his hand and does the same. 

Mox is still on commentary, and for the first time since he started his heel run, he is explaining how he sees wrestling during commentary and makes sense.   He then grabs a mic to talk about the Don Callis Family. He says they are drinking from entitlement and he was raised on Ohio tap water and says he will beat Takeshita tomorrow night on Collision and leaves commentary. 

Mercedes Mone (Ring of Honor TV Champion) vs Red Velvet

Red attacks Mone during the introductions, so I guess we won’t get the Code of Honor. Red rolls Mone up as the ref is distracted for at least a count of ten. They then roll back and forth around the ring. When they break they trade slaps and Red gets a spin kick. Red misses a moonsault and Mone gets a lung blower for two. 

Mone gets a backdrop and then a suplex for two. Mone wraps Red in the ropes and breaks on four. Mone then puts a foot in Red’s face in the corner and follows with a butterfly stretch. Red fights to her feet and Mone drops her back to the mat. Mone again puts a boot in Red’s face in the corner. Mone goes for the three amigos. She then shoves Red to the mat. She walks over Red’s midsection. 

Mone goes to the top and drops into Red’s knees. Mone is able to get running knees in the corner and covers for two. Mone slams Red’s head into the mat and then shouts at her. Red fires up and hits a series of blows and a DDT on Mone. Red then gets a running knee strike into Mone in the corner. Red gets a casadora into a front slam for two. Red puts her foot in Mone’s face and does the Mone dance.

Red charges into the corner and Mone gets a lung blower. Red rolls to the floor to escape Money. Mone goes for a baseball slide, but Red catches her in the ring skirt and beats her down. Red tries to roll Mone into the ring, but Mone escapes and gets a meteora from the apron to the floor. Red is rolled into the ring, and when Mone gets in the ring, Red catches her for a rollup for two. Mone gets a lung blower and then a double knee strike for two.

Mone goes for the Money maker and Red reverses them and slams Mone into the turnbuckle. Red goes to the top and Mone gets in strikes and goes for an avalanche Money Maker, Red escapes and gets a sunset flip from the top for two. Red then gets two suplexes and a spinning kick for two. Mone blocks a blow and gets a backstabber and follows with a leaping lung blower for two.

Mone puts Red on top and punches her. Mone joins Red on top and Red gets a series of knees. Mone sets for a pile driver for the top and Red reverses it for a Code Red for two. Red tries to grab her, but Mone kicks her off. Mone then pulls Red into the second rope and covers for two. Red reverses a money maker into a flipping face buster for two. They trade two counts and Mone gets a crossface, but Red makes it to the ropes. Red kicks off the ropes to reverse the move and holds for the pin and the win.

Winners and NEW Ring of Honor TV Champion: Red Velvet. 

Vacant ROH Tag Team Championship: The Beast Mortos & Sammy Guevara vs. Adam Priest & Tommy Billington

Sammy Guevara previously held the ROH Tag Team Titles with Dustin Rhodes, who vacated due to injury. He later held the titles with Rush, who also vacated due to injury.  Priest and Billington entered accompanied by Jay Lethal, who left once they reached the ring.  Guevara and Billington opened the match. Billington capitalized on Guevara’s showboating with strikes and technical holds. Guevara broke a hold by grabbing Billington’s nose. The crowd called for Mortos, and Guevara tagged him in.  Priest tagged in and attempted to overpower Mortos, who no-sold a shoulder tackle. Priest used movement to avoid Mortos and deliver strikes. Billington tagged in and landed a jumping kick, followed by a double-team back body drop with Priest while Guevara briefly joined commentary.  Mortos regained control by knocking Priest down and shoving Billington off the apron. Guevara tagged in and attacked Priest before tagging Mortos again. Priest continued attempting to escape, but Mortos pulled him back into the ring. Mortos hit a lungblower on Billington, followed by a top-rope knee from Guevara.  Mortos and Guevara isolated Priest and worked him over in their corner. Priest eventually landed a DDT and tagged in Billington. Billington hit a missile dropkick and built momentum until Guevara intervened. Mortos attempted a Doomsday Device setup, but Billington avoided it.  Priest and Billington executed a suplex/lariat combination on Mortos. They attempted a double suplex, but Mortos countered. Priest landed a hurricanrana and Billington climbed the ropes, but Hechicero interfered. In the ensuing exchange, Guevara delivered a low blow.  Mortos then hit a top rope moonsault and pinned Billington.

New ROH Tag Team Champions, The Beast Mortos & Sammy Guevara!

Eddie Kingston vs. Josh Woods

The match began with grappling. Woods attempted a takedown, which Kingston countered with stomps. Woods landed a springboard knee and applied a key lock targeting Kingston’s arm.  The two exchanged strikes, with Woods focusing on the arm and delivering corner offense followed by a suplex for a two count. Kingston responded with chops, but Woods transitioned into an armbar until Kingston reached the ropes  Kingston hit a corner lariat and a second-rope suplex for a near fall. Woods targeted Kingston’s shoulder again and attempted a bridging pin, but Kingston reached the ropes. Kingston caught Woods mid-springboard and executed an exploder  Kingston then hit a DDT to secure the pin.

ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Shane Taylor Promotions vs. Skyflight 

All six competitors brawled at the start. Sky was isolated in the STP corner until Taylor tagged in to exchange strikes with him. Dean returned to attempt the BBC but missed, and Sky dove onto Taylor outside. Bravo followed with a dive onto Sky.  Taylor and Darius then faced off, with Taylor knocking Darius down and hitting a 747 splash. Bravo and Dean continued attacking Darius until he created separation. Dante entered on a hot tag and hit multiple aerial attacks, including a dive onto Taylor.  Trish Adora grabbed Dante’s ankle, and Leila Grey pulled Bravo’s ankle in response. Both women entered the ring. Anthony Ogogo attempted involvement but was stopped by Christopher Daniels.  Bravo and Dante remained legal. Dante hit a slingshot cutter, but Dean broke the pin. Taylor re-entered and was hit with a top-rope DDT from Dante. Bravo connected with the Carlie Crossover. Sky entered on a blind tag and attacked the Infantry, but Taylor struck Darius through the ropes. Bravo then pinned Darius.

AEW National Champion Ricochet (vs. Dalton Castle

The match opened with chain wrestling. Ricochet missed an elbow, and Castle targeted his core with an alligator roll before throwing Ricochet with multiple suplexes. Ricochet exited the ring and argued with objects around ringside before striking one of The Boys, causing Castle to pursue.  Ricochet reentered the ring and hit a corkscrew dive to the outside, then tossed Castle back in and delivered repeated elbow drops. Castle countered with corner offense. Ricochet increased tempo and hit a pendulum dropkick for a two count. Each time Ricochet climbed to the top rope, Castle rolled out of the ring.  Castle eventually countered Ricochet and delivered a large suplex, then multiple additional suplexes around the ring. Castle attempted a Bangarang, but Ricochet reversed into a sunset flip and running shooting star press. Castle countered another lariat attempt into a second Bangarang attempt, landing it, but Ricochet kicked out.  Ricochet countered with a Spirit Gun and secured the pin.
