ATTICUS COGAR TO MAKE FIRST GCW TITLE DEFENSES THIS WEEKEND IN SEATTLE & LOS ANGELES, DAMIAN 666, NICK GAGE INVITATIONAL AND MORE GCW NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2025-12-01 13:33:00

Game Changer Wrestling has a busy month set to close out 2026 starting this weekend.

This Friday 12/5, they will return to Seattle, Washington at Washington Hall with New GCW Champion Atticus Cogar vs. Matt Tremont, Jack Evans vs. Jack Cartwheel, Joey Janela vs. Shotzi Blackheart, Effy vs. Priscilla Kelly and C4 (Cody Chhun & Guillermo Rosas) vs. YDNP (Alec Price & Jordan Oliver).  This Saturday 12/6, GCW is back in Los Angeles with GCW Champion Atticus Cogar vs. former Champ Effy (who Cogar defeated for the title on 11/22 in New Jersey), GCW Ultraviolent Champion Matt Tremont vs. Damian 666, Jack Evans vs. Joey Janela, Ciclope vs. Drew Parker and Priscilla Kelly vs. Vipress announced.  The show will each be streaming live on TrillerTV+.

The promotion will hold the Nick Gage Invitational X from The Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, FL on 12/13 with Bear Bronson, Drew Parker, Jack Harrop, Mr. Danger, Otis Cogar, SLADE, and The Bev all announced.  Bronson has been killing it as a singles talent since departing AEW.  They will be running New Year's Eve on 12/31 in Ridgefield Park, NJ.

Their 2026 already includes events in Dallas, Wichita, Philadelphia and Berwyn, IL. I wonder if that means Svengoolie is showing up.

GCW will also be heavily involved in the 2/1/26 Orange Crush Presents Superpower Slam event at The Melrose Ballroom in NYC, which has already been announced as featuring Paul Walter Hauser vs. Mad Dog Connelly as well as Alec Price, Allie Katch, Effy, Joey Janela, Jordan Oliver, The One Called Manders, Matt Cardona, and Thomas Shire, among others.  This is a benefit for New York City's neurodivergent community with tickets on sale now at superpowerslam.eventbrite.com

The event will also feature the return to the ring of Jonathan Gresham for the first time since he suffered a stroke:

GCW and JCW will also team to present the 2026 Jersey J-Cup tournament in Jersey City at White Eagles Hall on 2/6 and 2/7.
