Did I really see you say you preferred Full Gear over Survivor Series?
No, you saw me write that Full Gear gave you more wrestling for your time and financial investment vs. Survivor Series, which was factually true. If you are asking me which show I enjoyed more, I think Full Gear was the stronger show between the two. I was there live and most of that event was very good to excellent. Series was solid but not a memorable show from an in-ring standpoint. It was a step beneath Summerslam this year.
Has there ever been talk of bringing back Simon Dean or Jim Powers to resume their old regular shows here?
I haven't been in contact with Powers for many years. I would always want Mike Bucci to do something and we speak several times a week but the reality is he's too busy with family and professional duties to carve out a few hours to do a show currently.
Do we know how many WWF shows aired on the MSG Network over the years?
I think it's in the area of 150-170.
Was there ever a retired venue you wish you could have seen a show in.
Mid-South Coliseum, The Sportatorium, the original Boston Garden, The Philadelphia Spectrum. That would be the top four off the top of my head.
Who runs these Masked Republic Masked Mania shows?
Masked Republic the company does. They are the same people who were behind the creative for Wrestling Society X and have been working for years to get the brand going while also getting work visas for lots of lucha talents to be able to work for WWE, AEW, TNA, etc. They are very much a top flight organization.
Who books AEW other than Tony Khan?
The final decision maker is Tony. Everyone else works in support of him.
