Spotlight Match: Sean Vegan Keegan vs Nick Rodriguez
Keegan is upset at us celebrating at the murder of all those turkeys and is gonna show us the error of our ways. It doesn’t go the way he wants as Nick drops him and gets the three in about five minutes. We chant for “Turkey”. Great start.
Match 1: Fancy Ryan Clancy(c) vs Oxx Adams (for the IWTV championship)
There’s no BRG tonight. Oxx thinks he’s got this. Bell rings and this immediate hits the floor! Clancy throwing himself repeatedly into the fray but Oxx is a huge wall of a man. High knees stun him but Oxx comes right back with huge tossed and cracking slaps. Clancy really trying for that power spot of lifting Adams but he might be expending too much effort for a single slam. This goes back and forth until Clancy FINALLY hits a Samoan Drop after four attempts! A fancy splash doesn’t get the job done though. Oxx grabs Clancy by the throat, ref Scott tries to stop it but he gets thrown aside…Oxx is DQ’d! But he’s choking the life out of Clancy! Big bacon Brad Hollister runs down to make the save! They double clothesline Oxx out of the ring.
Bacon says that after all their wars, he has massive respect for IWTV champ Clancy. Bacon says he has his back going forward. Clancy concurs, they have had wars…but they respect each other. Clancy promises to have Brad’s back in return!
I look around and WOW, we’ve got a lot of people in here on Thanksgiving night???
Match 2: Jariel Rivera vs Eye Black Jack
Rivera’s music has a good build…and then Rivera comes through the curtain. “God’s Greatest Creation” is such a disappointment. Jariel’s been around forever and I’m still waiting for him to do something besides being the worst member to of any stable he’s in. Rivera uses his relative experience to put an early hurt on EBJ. Jack with the comeback and hits that high angle Spinning Uranage for the three.
Match 3: Julius Draeger vs Q Wynters
We call Draeger “The Lorax” but Q is a big tree of a man and Ironside is looking to chop him down. Wynters gets some solid shots in but Julius quickly starts to grind the newcomers down. Draeger gets overconfident and gets thrown hard off the top rope. A powerslam puts him down for the three and maybe saves a few trees in the process.
Match 4: Jose Zamora vs Pedro Dones
Zamora is wearing a body cam tonight. Dones makes a point to strip him of it and put it on Ref Bill so everyone can see Zamora get beat. Zamora with an eye rake while he uses Biller as a shield. The beatdown is ON for “the chat”. Dones rallies back with a big slam and a series of running axehandles. Zamora with a good slingshot legdrop but Dones kicks out. He’s mad and just begging the heavens for a win. God may not have responded but the devil sure let him get the three on a rollup with a handful of Pedro’s singlet.
Match 5: DJ Powers & Georgio Lawrence vs Wrench & Resolve (Jake Gray & Erik Chacha)
DJ & Lawrence are moist and their opponents ain’t letting them forget it. Between the bells, this becomes a clinic as Chacha trades kicks with a trained kickboxer and that doesn’t go well. Gray trying to keep Chacha in it but DJ and Lawrence keep Erik far away and Jake at bay. Lawrence accidentally fires a kick into DJ’s face! Tag to Gray! Shotgun into Lawrence! Sliced Bread! Powers breaks it up! DJ tossed! W&R hit a leg sweep sling blade combo on Georgio for the three! They leave a wet floor sign down so everyone is careful going forward. Love it.
Match 6: Amira vs Allie Katch
I had to check my notes, it’s been TWO YEARS since Amira’s been here. Amira showing some quick transitions but Allie wraps her up and grinds her down. Hard whips on the buckles, Amira taking some serious shots until a kick to the spine clearly
P***ES HER OFF. Amira fires up! Corner cannonball for two! Amira picks Allie up and hits a sidewalk slam! Boston crab! It’s deep! Allie is in serious trouble but makes it to the ropes! Allie with the corner reversal and hits the seated senton! Katch cannonball! Amira looks dead but gets a shoulder up! They battle to the top..Amira gets caught…suuuuuuperplex! Amira quickly pops up with a Samoan drop! They’re both down! Staggered back up, trading shots in the center! Amira with a cloverleaf German! German with a bridge! Ref Scott with a slow count, that was ABSOLUTELY a three for Amira. But Allie hits a northern lights…kick out! This is excellent. Both ladies are tired and trying to secure a pin. Allie with a big lariat…Amira kicks out. Katch pulls her up one last time and drops her with a piledriver to get that three! What a f***ing match. From my vantage, the cult of Katch was in full swing so I hope they go back and see how much Amira did here.
Main Event: Big Business (Big Bacon Brad Hollister, TJ Crawford, Love Doug, Julio Cruz & Victor Chase) vs Miracle Generation (Dustin Waller & Kylon King), Stetson Ranch (Steven Stetson & Brian Morris) and Bobby Casale (5 on 5 Elimination Match)
The Thanksgiving Tradition is here in Worcester!!! Bacon is quickly swarmed by all five opponents. NAH. BB with a quintuple toss across the ring to the floor! Doug suicide dives! With such a hot start, you’d think the Ranch was doomed but Stetson Ranch gets a dirty pin on Chase after the initial flurry and give the first blood to Big Business.
TJ with a hot tag. He wipes everyone off the apron! Casale is left alone to eat a buzzsaw kick and he just shoves Bobby down with his foot to get the three!
Back to even numbers! Bacon with a belly to belly, tossing Kylon out of the ring into the Ranch! Julio with a double back suplex to the ranch! Waller in with a kick and a high angle floating moonsault for the three on Cruz!
Miracle Generation has the target on Love Doug. TJ and Bacon pull them away from the double knee…Doug hits the rebound on King for the three!!!
Even up again and both team just get to brawling! Triple ten punches on the ropes…Stetson and Waller sent to the floor as Bacon hits his jackhammer on Morris for the three!
Waller and Stetson try to run but Doug and TJ throw them back in! TJ with a rollup but Waller pulls ref bill out! Stetson with an uppercut to the nards of Crawford and Ref Bill counts the three went he stops being blind to justice.
Stetson and Waller go for a Powerplex on a Doug??? Doug escapes! Crossbody for two! The BullDoug connects! He goes for the rebound but Waller pulls Bill into the line of fire. Dustin hits the handspring cutter but…well, no ref. He did this. Dusty grabs a chair for a moonsault…Eye Black Jack runs down to steal the chair! Bacon with a German off the top! Doug hits the slice of love! Ref bill counts the slow three and STETSON IS IN A TWO ON ONE!!!
Stetson tries to target Doug but he eats a face full of flower petals and here comes Bradley Baconman. Stetson going power for power with Hollister but he ends up eating a Hart Attack! Stetson kicks out! Doug left alone after Steven boots Bacon off the apron! A huge brain buster doesn’t keep Cupid down. Stetson setting up for the North Jersey Lariat but Brad runs in…He helps Doug Duck…BUSINESS IS BOOMING CONNECTS! Doug pins the Wrestling Open Tag Champ! What a fun end to a bonkers night.
