I met Chaz in June of 1993 when he walked into the Monster Factory for a tryout after seeing one of our shows. I was the head trainer at the time; I gave him his tryout, and we just clicked. It felt like we had known each other our entire lives.
I was actually told NOT to start a tag team because promoters didn't want to bring in two guys and it could limit our bookings. Thank God I didn't listen. From the start, we did everything together, and I wouldn't change a single part of it.
