The excellent Bret Hart autobiography Hitman: My Real Life in the Cartoon World of Wrestling has been released as an audio book for the first time ever. The audio book is the complete book, with the audio, narrated by Hart, clocking in at over 17 hours. The book, originally released in 2008 in Canada and then globally, is one of the all time best books ever on professional wrestling.
The legendary Dave Brown, one of the hosts of Memphis Wrestling during its heyday, will be making a rare signing appearance at The Gathering 2026 presented by TMart Promotions in Charlotte, NC at The University Hilton, one of the best weekends of the year annually the weekend of 7/24/26. Brown has been added to the event's VIP Superticket guest lineup, which already features David Manning, Rockin' Robin (making her final public appearance), Tito Santana, Super Crazy, Dos Caras, Greg Gagne and Lance Von Erich. The Headbangers' final match will be promoted by Tommy Fierro's ISPW in Wildwood, NJ on 7/23/26 at The Wildwoods Convention Center. Basically, unless WWE calls them to do something, this will be the last time the team perform in the ring.

The United Wrestling Network's Gotham Wrestling will return on Tuesday 12/2 for another round of tapings in Nyack, New York at comedy club Levity Live. The Good Brothers, Richard Holliday, Duke Hudson, QT Marshall and UWN Champion Jordan Cruz are already locked in for the taping. Tickets for the 12/2 taping are on sale at this link.

The latest novel from long-time pro wrestling historian and promoter Sheldon Goldberg The Family Business has been released.
The Family Business, a sequel to The Last Fall and After The Bell, follows Rick Pacheco and Great Western Wrestling as they journey through the post-pandemic resurgence of professional wrestling, developing new wrestling stars and dealing with complicated legacies of wrestling families.
Sheldon Goldberg is best known in the New England area as the founder and owner of New England Championship Wrestling, which ran regular events and produced TV for over twenty years beginning in 2000.
Prior to wrestling, he did publicity for local and touring theater companies and productions. From there, he created and produced plays, most notably the Motown revue “Dancin’ In The Street!” which was a smash hit in Boston and Washington DC among other productions.
Among his other credits are as a writer for WOW Magazine, he hosted and produced The Mouthpiece Wrestling Show, a weekly wrestling themed radio talk show on WWZN 1510 AM in Boston for 3 years, he is a former member of the prestigious Cauliflower Alley Club’s Board of Directors. He has appeared on the A&E specials, The Unreal Story of Professional Wrestling and Andre The Giant: Larger Than Life as well as ESPN's Outside The Lines. In 2009, he was inducted into the New England Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame.
