I thought the September 22nd edition of RAW was better than Wrestlepalooza, I was far more engaged in the show. You?
I was more engaged, yes. I hope Paul Levesque can get out of his booking slump.
Stephanie Vaquer is really trying to get better with her English language promos, BIG hats off to her. You can tell it's difficult for her, but she's staying concise and on-point. No yelling or screaming, just a nice heartfelt piece. Not a question, I guess, but good on her. She's very likable, and I think that will make up for any faults she currently has with her mic work.
I agree 100 percent with you on all points. She is working so hard to learn how to speak English and has already made huge strides. She is great in the ring and definitely has the It factor. She is fun to watch.
Do you feel the Cody/Seth match is being rushed into? Given their history, which both men spoke about, it seems to be a situation that deserves a better build. I could even have envisioned Cody saying no; he could have cited how Seth helped him when he really needed it and he hadn't forgotten about it. Perhaps despite his distaste for Seth's current path, he still respected him, etc. Thoughts?
100 percent, just like they rushed into Cody vs. Drew McIntyre because they had to do something for the ESPN debut. I always hated the champ vs. champ aspect of The Survivor Series and I hate it now. This match should have had more than a few weeks to build up to it.
Do you think that they are going to turn LA Knight or Jey Uso? Door seems wide open for either. (Merchandise sales aside of course, as Jey sells a lot as a babyface).
I wouldn’t turn either to be honest. I have not liked the way that the Raw babyface have been booked for a while now and a lot of it is because of things like this. I guess Levesque is trying to get edgy and into shades of gray, but the product was much more fun under him when the lines were a lot clearer.
